Vote Early; Vote Often!

By Mike Cunningham On May 6th, 2015 at 12:27 pm

I would really like a vote tomorrow. A vote which actually counts. My vote, in this ‘rotten borough’ where I live, which also goes by the unlovely title of a ‘Labour Stronghold’, is overwhelmed and dominated by a tribalistic vote, whether it is for the present Labour candidate; or a gorilla wearing a Red rosette, if that primate was adopted by the local Labour constituency party. It is a proven fact that total political nonentities, who maybe have worked ‘forCunard’ but without an original thought between the lot, have risen to great power in this, our Island Nation, whilst riding on the coat-tails of one political party or another.

We in Great Britain had a chance to swap our ‘First-past-the-Post’ system a couple of years back, in a referendum for an alternative vote system which was backed by the Lib-Dems. This vote was part of their price for joining the Coalition which has run our Government for the past five years. It was decisively rejected by the voting public, partly because the voting public dislikes change, partly because the AV system requires a preference to be stated, and Brits  really dislike someone telling them to do anything which might make them think, or choose; but mainly because, when the possible ballot papers were shown and discussed, the jokes showed how lunatic the system actually was.

Voting for our ‘Representatives’ in Europe is by Proportional Representation, or the d’Hondt system. Read the rest of this entry »

Just move along, nothing is happening; its just Islam in action!!!!

Some three years ago, I wrote to my MP as follows:-

Dear Roberta Blackman-Woods,

I write in connection with the reported voting fraud in Tower Hamlets, as listed here and would wish to address several questions to the Home Secretary
•        Why have all enquiries known about so far resulted in no prosecutions whatsoever in the field of electoral fraud or ‘personation’?
•        Why have the police not instituted, despite documented evidence, enquiries leading to prosecutions in this matter?
•        Why have polling stations in the Tower Hamlets area not been freed of voter intimidation as alleged on the blogsite; as well as the arrest of any person deemed to be harassing a prospective female voter on the grounds of ‘not being modestly dressed’?
•        May I also enquire, through your office as my M.P., why the Electoral Commission has not been directed by the Home Office to institute a thorough and all-encompassing enquiry into the allegations of fraud within the Tower Hamlets area?
•        Finally, will you ask the Home Secretary if any Police actions or investigations have been curtailed because of ‘cultural awareness’?.

If such questions can be asked within the House of Commons, or alternatively by written questions, I, as well as many, many others, would agree that true democracy is being served!

Yours sincerely,

Mike Cunningham

Needless to state, just like Cllr. Peter Golds, I never even received an acknowledgement, never mind a studied and conscientious reply. It is true that, in this ever-so-correct world we live in, the f*@”” Muslims can get away with almost anything, because the cops are just shit scared!

I suppose I’d have to plead ‘Probably Guilty’

By Mike Cunningham On April 26th, 2015 at 12:32 pm

After reading David’s post below, I would point towards a blog I read regularly and this post in particular.

My comment, copied herewith, say much about my attitude to such  pillocks such as Gauleiter Millaband.

There is a song from Gilbert & Sullivan’s ‘HMS Pinafore’ entitled ‘He is an Englishman’ which says much about those millions of Englishmen who either cannot or will not speak for themselves; but I would extend those musical remarks, to lay out some ideas of the true Englishman.

We don’t appreciate being told to accept, through manufactured Laws and twisted logic, that homosexuals are equal, or ‘just the same as we are’ because, deep down, We know they are not; but, paradoxically, we also believe that, providing they ‘shut the f*ck up’ and stop prancing around demanding their ‘diversity and equality rights’, and that they should immediately and definitely not be allowed the sacred and sanctified title and state of Marriage; they should do as we do, which is ‘live and let live’.

To be an Englishman is almost a state of mind, where if a man such as I sees and hears the vast majority of his fellow subjects of Her Majesty chanting football club slogans, or discussing in gloomy tones the latest abject display of the national cricket team; or displaying similar sentiments on any other English team or solo sporting activity: I can wistfully shake my head in disbelief at the strange manner by which my fellow Englishmen are so easily diverted.

We should, I firmly believe, repeal all and any of the myriad Laws which foreshorten or limit the very idea of ‘Freedom of Speech’, or allow some clown to lay a charge against another because he has been ‘offended’. I would also bring back the Death Penalty for treason, murder and for incitement to murder, for child abuse and paeadophiles, but would also insist that that particular sentence be carried out by firing squad within twelve hours of the sentence; as I reckon there is no time like the present, as the guilty party would have less time to think up excuses for further delay.

As a true Englishman, I would reform the political process, but only to the extent that all major spending decisions be subject to a digital referendum every year, with no postal or paper ballots allowed at all. That same digital procedure should be adopted for local and national elections, again with absolutely no postal ballots allowed. The only exception would be where three individual doctors certify inability to move, and the ballot would be taken on a sealed laptop in secret, with no other family members present.

As an Englishman who actually believes in listening to all sides of any argument, I would immediately repudiate and demolish the BBC, and replace it with a subscription service; and then we would maybe see if the English would pay voluntarily for the load of liberal bollocks dished out over both tv and radio channels presently funded by the licence poll tax.

As an Englishman, I would immediately close the immigration doors against any more Muslim migration, from anywhere in the world. The numbers of migrants other than Muslim should be reduced, but we should be encouraging more skilled workers from the Commonwealth, again as long as they are not Muslim, because we have too many members of the Fifth Column on our shores at present.

A few ideas, but, there again, it’s a start!

more really good news for ‘The Speaker’

By Mike Cunningham On April 24th, 2015 at 9:50 am

Remember the hoo-hah and fanfare when John Bercow was trying to install his Best Female Friend as Clerk to the House of Commons?

Well, it now turns out that Carol Mills has lost her job with the Canberra Parliament, after the Australian Parliament committee decided that she was ‘not fit for purpose’.

From ‘the best person for the job’ to ‘Yer fired’ in just over a year. Who says good news never comes!

a chance for the difference

I have looked at, but not yet studied in depth, the UKIP Manifesto. (click on the download file)

But even if I had not read a single word, I would vote for them because they are not Labour, or Tory, or LibDem.

and repeat after me: Labour is for the Working Man

Elections and promises; all 16,000 of them.

By Mike Cunningham On April 9th, 2015 at 6:33 pm

I commenced a five-year apprenticeship with an North-East engineering firm at the age of sixteen. Five years later, with a technical qualification and a thorough grounding in the basics of electrical engineering behind me, I joined the Merchant Navy, and discovered how much I didn’t know. As with electrics, thousands of my fellow apprentices learnt the skills they had chosen, whether it was bricklaying, carpentry, fitting, machining skills, light or heavy: we all learned the skills needed to make things, to build, to repair, to diagnose, to understand the complexity of a building, or a single machine tool, or a car. Many othere chose a different path, to go to University and study medicine, or the Law, or indeed any of the many and varied professions.

To be an apprentice was an honourable thing; to learn, to absorb, to clarify, to repair and to make good.

I have nothing against people who learn the dark arts of how to serve and sell coffee, most are due a high regard for working hard for low pay: but apprentices they are, simply, not!

Just in case you hadn’t noticed………..

Guys, you have just got to get a life! 007, James Bond, all the rest; it is Fiction; they are all stories, no-one gets hurt, or killed, or dismembered.

Its a bit like British Politics, once every five years, the dictators pretend to ask us what we want, and then go on ignoring us for another five years. Politics and Politicians, better than all the Bond films for fantasy, lies and pure diversion!

A political advert that speaks to the UK mindset

By Mike Cunningham On March 31st, 2015 at 9:44 am

I have often compared Labour voters, up here in the former industrial heartland of England, to a bunch of sheep; but that is, truly, an injustice to the average sheep. Those Labour loyalists will vote for any nonentity, jobsworth or inheritor of a seat (council or Westminster) on the Buggins-turn basis, as long as they tie the Labour rosette around their fat necks, and pledge loyalty to the latest Labour nonentity who gets, or buys, sufficient Union votes to become Labour leader. The Lib-Dims are just as bad; those of a Tory persuasion are not visible, mainly from a self-preservation basis.

I received the first of the innumerable Election leaflets, promising roses, sunny days and everyone will be happy: if only we would vote Labour. And, folks, the worst part of that leaflet is that the sheep will believe it, and accept every word as Gospel!

But I saw yesterday the first really truthful campaign advert of this Election campaign, and although I may not vote for a UKIP candidate as I usually just spoil my vote out of sheer disgust at the choices available: based on the thinking behind this advert, I may well change my mind.

The Sodomite’s Charter

By Mike Cunningham On March 14th, 2015 at 10:50 am

A copy of a letter sent to three of our local newspapers.

It is a subject upon which I have strong views.

For the attention of the Editor

Dear Sir,

As the British General Election is just around the corner, I would take this opportunity to remind your readers what has been abolished, ‘IN YOUR NAME’, by the ghastly Tory/Lib-Dim coalition, aided by the fellow-travellers of the Labour Party. The voters of Britain, barring Northern Ireland of course, have had their Marriages abolished by the Tories, Labour and of course the simpering Lib-Dims, and had ‘Equality’ dumped in their unprotesting laps instead. Yes folks, you, along with some twenty-five million other married people have been made equal, by Act of Parliament, to a bunch of perverts, homosexuals, lesbians and other weirdos by the Same-Sex Marriage Act.

You were not asked if you wished this  transition, which gives ‘equality’ to a bunch whose prime drive is buggery and sodomy. When a ‘Consultation’ was undertaken on the suitability and acceptability of this Legislation, some 600,000-odd signatures on a petition were treated as ONE voice, and of course were disregarded by the gay-friendly mob in Westminster, because they wanted this Act to go through. 400-odd voted for it, with only 170 against; because the gay lobby, which desires your children to be told that homosexuality is not a perversion, pushed for this despicable legislation to pass.

No conscience clauses were accepted, no exceptions were made, you do as you are told!

So, in finishing, remember that your Marriage was diminished last year; your Marriage, when you either stood and made your vows before your God, or stood and promised in a Registry Office was diminished by a bunch of politicians who never ever asked if you cared. Remember that diminution when you stand in the Ballot Booth on May 7th; and treat them accordingly!
