Why, and Why

By Patrick Van Roy On June 12th, 2014 at 1:47 am

obama1-compressedThe following information answers 2 questions.  Why does the NSA listen to every phone world wide, and Why it matters who we elect to control that information.

The terrorists who attacked the U.S. compound and CIA annex in Benghazi on September 11, 2012, took cellphones from State Department personnel during the deadly assault and contacted senior terrorist leaders about the success of the operation — and U.S. spy agencies overheard the conversations, Fox News reports.

Eric Stahl, who recently retired as a major in the U.S. Air Force, told Fox News that members of a CIA-trained Global Response Staff were “confused” by the Obama administration’s repeated claim that an anti-Muslim video sparked the terrorist attack because “they knew during the attack…who was doing the attacking.”

“Right after they left the consulate in Benghazi and went to the [CIA] safehouse, they were getting reports that cellphones, consulate cellphones, were being used to make calls to the attackers’ higher ups,” Stahl told Bret Baier.

The new report, which cites multiple sources, raises fresh questions regarding why the White House made the claim about the video even though it appears senior administration officials knew during the attack that terrorists were responsible.

Another U.S. official with “intimate details” of the Benghazi attack reportedly confirmed Stahl’s account. The source also said security teams received intelligence about the cellphone calls in real time.

More from the Fox News report:

Eric Stahl, who recently retired as a major in the U.S. Air Force, served as commander and pilot of the C-17 aircraft that was used to transport the corpses of the four casualties from the Benghazi attacks – then-U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens, information officer Sean Smith, and former Navy SEALs Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods – as well as the assault’s survivors from Tripoli to the safety of an American military base in Ramstein, Germany.

[…]

Major Stahl was never interviewed by the Accountability Review Board, the investigative panel convened, pursuant to statute, by then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, as the official body reviewing all the circumstances surrounding the attacks and their aftermath. Many lawmakers and independent experts have criticized the thoroughness of the ARB, which also never interviewed Clinton nor the under secretary of State for management, Patrick Kennedy, a key figure in the decisions about security at the consulate in the period preceding the attack there.

In his interview on “Special Report,” Stahl made still other disclosures that add to the vast body of literature on Benghazi – sure to grow in the months ahead, as a select House committee prepares for a comprehensive probe of the affair, complete with subpoena power. Stahl said that when he deposited the traumatized passengers at Ramstein, the first individual to question the CIA security officers was not an FBI officer but by the senior State Department diplomat on the ground.

The ability to have “real time” Intelligence is the ultimate tool.  It gives us what we need to know exactly when we need it.  This ability gives us an edge that’s value is undeniable.  How the information was used, or as in this case NOT used stresses and emphasizes WHY when we elect the morally corrupt to use these tools it costs us in LIVES.

You Tell Me…

By Patrick Van Roy On May 14th, 2013 at 7:04 am

Under the fold are the Articles of Impeachment that were brought against Richard Nixon. You tell me after you read those Articles what did Nixon do then, that Obama isn’t doing NOW ?

Just wanted to flesh out the thought, since there are so many in denial out there at what has been going on.

1) Mitch McConnell’s office was bugged, we found that out about a month ago.

2) The IRS has been used as a weapon against the Presidents enemies.

3) The Administration lied to the public, and has lied under oath several times, engaging in multiple cover ups.

O-NThe question is of course Mr. President what did you know and when did you know it ? The difference between Richard Nixon and Barack Obama is that back in the 70s it was expected of our President to be an Honest man.  It is no longer expected or is it a shock that those who hold high office have no integrity or honesty.

All that matters is the agenda, and the agenda is not one founded in American roots. I read the comments on here and made by others in and on the airways. We must protect the President, we must protect the next President Hillary. I ask you why?

What does it say about people, that who they want to lead them are those that have committed these crimes. It’s the same as with those that vote for the IRA/SF over there. You promote and endorse the behavior of those you support.

That means whatever behavior they engaged in once you know about it, and still vote for them… You are just as guilty of their crimes.

“Barack Obama is the worst President in history….my name is Ben Quayle and I approve this message.”

Yesterday, there were primary elections in Arizona and this newcomer, with a famous last name and a winning message, won his election.  See his winning ad below.

No Change. Not Much Hope.

Even though  Obama’s  support  is falling  “among blacks, Hispanics,” the Obama Administration remains committed to a reelection strategy that divides the country along racial as well as economic lines.  President Obama’s demagoguery is not  paying off, however,  and even Democrats notice the folly of this tactic.

Patrick Caddell and Doug Schoen, both Democrat strategists, write in an article titled “Our Divisive President”  in the  The Wall Street Journal:

Rather than being a unifier, Mr. Obama has divided America on the basis of race, class and partisanship. Moreover, his cynical approach to governance has encouraged his allies to pursue a similar strategy of racially divisive politics on his behalf.

We have seen the divisive approach under Republican presidents as well—particularly the administrations of Richard Nixon and George W. Bush. It was wrong then, and it is wrong now. By dividing America, Mr. Obama has brought our government to the brink of a crisis of legitimacy, compromising our ability to address our most important policy issues… We say this with a heavy heart….

…The first hint that as president Mr. Obama would be willing to interject race into the political dialogue came last July, when he jumped to conclusions about the confrontation between Harvard Prof. Henry Louis “Skip” Gates and the Cambridge police.

During a press conference, the president said that the “Cambridge police acted stupidly,” and he went on to link the arrest with the “long history in this country of African-Americans and Latinos being stopped by law enforcement disproportionately.”

In truth, the Gates incident appears to have had nothing to do with race—a Cambridge review committee that investigated the incident ruled on June 30 that there was fault on both sides….

…Add in the lawsuit against the Arizona immigration law and it’s clear the Obama administration is willing to run the risk of dividing the American people along racial and ethnic lines to mobilize its supporters—particularly Hispanic voters, whose backing it needs in the fall midterm elections and beyond…

…On an issue that has gotten much less attention, but is potentially just as divisive, the Justice Department has pointedly refused to prosecute three members of the New Black Panther Party for voter intimidation at the polls on Election Day 2008.

It is the job of the Department of Justice to protect all American voters from voter discrimination and voter intimidation—whether committed by the far right, the far left, or the New Black Panthers. It is unacceptable for the Department of Justice to continue to stonewall on this issue..”

Obama to the Wind: “Call Me Captain Ahab!”

By ATWadmin On March 8th, 2010 at 8:14 pm

Monday, March 8, 2010:  He’s facing a strong headwind but still President Obama soldiers on, determined to pass into law his ObamaCare Bill(s).

Call me Captain Ahab!” President Obama cries.  And while doing so, he destroys the short term prospects, the medium term prospects and possibly the long term prospects for his Administration and the Congressional Democrats.

Rush Limbaugh pens a letter to the President

“Tricky Dick” Redux

By ATWadmin On October 23rd, 2009 at 4:55 pm

Thanks to numerous  petty and personal attacks on people and organizations, and the growing realization that the Obama  Administration has compiled an “enemies list,” President Obama has recently been described in the press as “Nixonian.”   Nixon earned his nickname, “Tricky Dick,”  and so might President Obama.

What is the Obama Administration hiding that requires so much distraction rather than direct dialogue on substance? Why  attack Hannity, Beck, Limbaugh, Tea Party patriots, talk radio, Humana and even the US Chamber of Commerce?   Where is Obama’s promised transparency?

Why doesn’t the Obama Administration go on Fox News and try to persuade???

What are they hiding?

OMG

By ATWadmin On October 23rd, 2009 at 12:42 am

Unprecedented:

“Today the White House stepped up its attack on Fox News, announcing that the network would no longer be able to conduct interviews with officials as a member of the Press Pool. The Pool is a five-member group consisting of ABC, CBS, CNN, Fox News and NBC organized by the White House Correspondents Association. Its membership is not subject to oversight by the government.

Before an interview with “Pay Czar” Kenneth Feinberg, the administration announced that Fox News would be banned from the press pool. This marks the first time in history that an administration had attempted to ban an entire network from the press pool.

To their credit, the other networks objected. They told the White House that if Fox were banned, none of the other networks would participate. The White House relented, but in an apparent act of petulant retaliation, it restricted each network to a two-minute interview instead of the standard five.”

It’s the Freedom, Stupid.

By ATWadmin On September 23rd, 2009 at 3:06 pm

I wish President Obama would give domestic US the middle finger.  I wish he would get too exasperated to function, too fed up with our perceived collective stupidity that he would give up trying to force feed us socialism, trying to  “help us help ourselves.”

But, I don’t see that happening soon.  No.  Obama is tightening  his inefficient, corrupt, governmental Grizzly Bear hug around America, soon to strangle the air out of us.

Consequently, I look to China and ex-Gov. Sarah Palin for a breath of fresh :

HONG KONG — Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, in what was billed as her first public-speaking engagement outside North America, blamed the world financial crisis on government excesses and called for a new round of deregulation and tax cuts for U.S. businesses.

“We got into this mess because of government interference in the first place,” the former Republican U.S. vice presidential candidate said Wednesday at a conference sponsored by investment firm CLSA Asia-Pacific Markets. “We’re not interested in government fixes, we’re interested in freedom,” she added.

Deregulation. Tax cuts.  Freedom.  Sarah Palin. I can breathe again.

** Footnote: In the successful campaign against Bush the Elder, Bill Clinton’s campaign coined the phrase “It’s the Economy, Stupid.”
