Given that Palestinians have reacted with outrage at the annoucement of a ceasefire by Israel, and further compounded this, as Pete notes, by firing rockets randomly into Israel, isn’t it time that Olmert delivered this simple message to Hamas and the pro-Palestian hallelujah chorus; Peace Off? Also, still no UN condemnation of all these post-ceasfire rocket attacks by the UN – how odd? Still Bankimoon did manage to find the time to demand that Israel withdraw all its troops from Hamastan. The UN – setting new standards in jew-hating by the day….

90 Minutes Into Israel’s Ceasefire …

… and Hamas gives its response.

At least seven rockets have been launched against the Israeli people in the western Negev with others hitting Ashkelon and Beersheba.

The UN denunciation of Israel is expected in minutes.

Disappointed to see that Israel has announced a cease-fire in its campaign against the savages in Hamas. Now the good news is that many of these depraved Islamic scum have gone on to meet Allah a tad prematurely but some have survived and there will be no peace until they too follow their associates into oblivion, or Lebanon. Clearly the coronation of Obama next week is the key political driver behind this political decision by the Israeli cabinet and we must all hope that once The One has ascended upon high, Israel can re-commence the pounding of Hamas which has proven such a great success.  Go Israel.

No Peace Without Gilad Shalit

By ATWadmin On January 17th, 2009 at 8:30 pm

WHILE the Israeli Cabinet meets to confirm a ceasefire in Gaza, while the Head of the UN calls for a withdrawal of Israeli troops, the great and the good it seems couldn’t give a damn about Cpl Gilad Shalit.

Gilad Shalit was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists more than two and a half years ago at the Kerem Shalom crossing on the Israel/Gaza border. If the Israeli government approves an end tonight to hostilities without any preconditions relating to the release of Shalit then I wish the worst on them all.

Hamas has been well pounded these last few weeks. It’s destruction ought to continue until Shalit (most likely his remains) is returned.

What a senseless waste of human life? No. Hamas killers get what they deserve. Just wondering where UNWRA was…?

just like death and taxes….

In the later news (bias and propaganda) bulletins of the Today Programme, the suitably hushed voice of a Jerusalem-based reporter announced that, for the first time, the UN and their Agency UNRWA were referring to the shelling of a ‘defenceless UN school’ by Israeli tanks as a “WAR CRIME”!. Shock; Horror!

So a supposedly neutral UN Agency condemns a Nation State, charging ‘War Crimes’; one of the gravest charges ever! I use the term ‘supposedly’ because there is sufficient evidence to the contrary, that UNRWA regularly gives aid and employment to Hamas terrorists, using the quaint statement “We have a zero-tolerance policy towards politics and militant activities in our schools. Obviously, we are not the thought police and we cannot police people’s minds,” as a ready-made excuse for either not bothering to check, or not wanting to check on the civilian/terrorist status of their employees.  One wonders if the burial of the so-called martyr bomb-maker Awad al-Qiq, wrapped in an Islamic Jihadi flag, surrounded by chanting Pally-morons (sorry, grieving companions) gave UNRWA some clue as to the mind of the ex-headmaster of their school. another clue may have been the profusion of Islamic Jihad posters in his home, but that was probably put down to a simple excess of patriotism by this otherwise tolerant and friendly soul!

I also really liked the even-handed condemnation by the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva referrring to the Gaza conflict. The resolution said that Israel’s operation had resulted in massive violations of human rights of the Palestinian people. Mind you, they also condemned the ‘crude’ rockets fired by Hamas against Israeli towns! Not a word about any more ‘sophisticated’ missiles which might come along later, just the ‘crude’ ones for now! Israel’s term for the Council is brief and apposite; they called it a ‘Fairy-tale world’! Like it!

However, back in the BBC trenches, the words will shuffle, advance, march and pour forth to give credence to yet another baseless charge against the Israeli Defence Forces. Hopefully, the Israelis will ignore the bleatings from Hamas, the soulful rending of garments by the UN, and the parrot-noises from the (British) Hamas Broadcasting corporation, and not give one inch to the calls for investigations, or inquiries about this so-called ‘crime’. As the minds are already made up as to who is ‘Guilty’, why give them the oxygen of any reply or publicity whatsoever?

Great image here of a rally in support of Israel in the heart of Rome. The BBC must have missed it. Then again they seem to have missed the pro-Israel rally in London.

I saw this question posed by Ben Dror Yemini and thought I might repeat it for you.

Suppose, just suppose, the situation were in reverse and the Hamas had Israel’s weapons and Israel had Hamas’ weapons. In that case would 1000 people die, as in the Cast Lead operation? No, says Yemini, in that case six million people would die.

I see that the IDA has hit the UN “headquarters” in Gaza. Great result. Now, isn’t it time the UN apologied to Israel for allowing Hamas terrorists to use these facilities? Also, shouldn’t those UN officials who presided over this be put on trial for aiding and abetting war criminals? I suppose hitting the UN HQ is what is called a target-rich environment given the fact that the UN admits to employing terrorists here in Gaza. Well done Israel! Keep up the good work and keep ignoring any notion of a cease-fire until Hamas are in the dirt where they belong.

So whilst the anti-semites out there whinge about imagined Israeli war crimes here you can see the lengths that Israel goes to prevent civilian deaths-  in this case diverting missiles already in flight. Also please note how Hamas clearly uses civilians for cover. We all know who the war criminals are – they are the Islamic savages that the international jew-hating political left march to support.
