Bloodied: Israel Rescue workers and paramedics at the scene at a bus stop in Jerusalem

Sad to read that the woman who was killed in a terrorist bomb explosion at a crowded bus stop in Jerusalem was British, the Foreign Office confirmed this morning.

The British Embassy in the city confirmed the woman’s death in the attack, which injured dozens at a crowded bus stop, and said her family has been told. Police said it was the first such bombing in the city in seven years.

So, how did Palestinians react to this act of appalling savagery?

They celebrate.

The media does not focus on this aspect of how terrorism is actually celebrated by Palestinians but as pointed out by the excellent Zilla of the Resistance here are a few quotes from the FATAH (Moderate?) Palestinian Press Agency;

“God is great and thankfully the hearts of Muslims in this jihadist operation and I ask God Almighty to be there to kill me in a similar operation in response to the continued crimes of the occupation in the Gaza Strip.

Praise be to God: Victory of the Mujahideen Lord Thy God is great, and thankfully

God bless these operations, And instill fear and terror in the hearts of the sons of Zion”

Partners for peace?

I just spotted the news concerning the terrorist attack that has taken place in Jerusalem today.

At least 20 people have been injured, four of them seriously, after a bomb attack at a bus stop in central Jerusalem. Israel’s minister of public security Yitzhak Aharonovich said the 1kg device was in a bag on the pavement by the bus stop. The explosion shook buildings hundreds of metres away and blew out the windows of two buses, witnesses said.

Here we see the fanatical Palestinian hatred, manifest in Hamas, doing all it knows to do – taking INNOCENT life. My sympathies to those injured in this and my contempt for “the partners in peace” who so enjoy killing Jewish people – randomly. Waiting for the UN condemnation….Annie Lennox, are you out there?

The Vogel Family: Most of whom were slaughtered in their beds by a so-called 'Mujahid'. Seems more like a gutless excuse for a man to us, though

Have a good look at the above.

“A Jewish couple and three of their children were stabbed to death in bed in a West Bank settlement in what Israeli officials said Saturday was an attack by one or more Palestinians who broke into their home. Israeli troops set up roadblocks and were searching the area around the Jewish religious settlement of Itamar, near the Palestinian city of Nablus, for the killer or killers. In a televised speech, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed shock that the parents and three of their children — including a baby — were “brutally murdered on Sabbath eve while sleeping.”

Get that? A one month old baby, a 3 year old and 10 year old child and their Mum and Dad.  All stabbed to death. By one or more Palestinians.

So, how do those oppressed Gazans respond to this killing of the innocent?

They celebrate – sweets are handed out.

No outcry from Shamnesty – UN remains mute. BBC lets the story drift…if you have a strong stomach, you can see the horror visited upon these innocent – WARNING – view with caution.

Hat-tip to Undhimmi.

Three sides of a two-sided coin

Listening to an interview on the Today Programme this morning with John Ging, the UNWRA director. This interview was preceded by a (fairly) straightforward news item which dealt with the same topic as discussed with Mr. Ging. The item in discussion was the destruction by ‘armed and masked men’ of equipment in a UNWRA ‘summer camp’ which gives children in Gaza access to sports, swimming, theatre and arts.

The BBC report gave a comparatively straightforward view of an event where some twenty men, masked and armed, immobilised the guards and then torched the entire complex. The BBC reporter also stated that while no one had claimed responsibility for this wanton destruction, the fact was that the HAMAS terror group which holds Gaza in its grip must have at least known and given tacit approval for the attack, mainly because nothing happened in Gaza without their knowledge.

Mr. Ging from UNWRA, on the opposing side as it were, also denounced the destruction, but pointedly did not even name HAMAS as the group which runs Gaza, and would consequently have either approved or planned the raid; but instead harped on about the (Israeli) blockade. That blockade which has, in his words, ‘traumatised’ many thousands of children, and placed UNRWA in a position where they had to supply these ‘camps’, run of course by thousands of ‘teachers’ which formed the basis of a holiday from the brutal realities of their lives under the blockade.

No mention about the release from a similar ‘trauma’ for the many thousands of ordinary Israeli kids by the same blockade, as the source for the rocket fuel and explosives has been sliced right back by that same ‘traumatising’ blockade!

No mention either of the fact that, while the HAMAS movement was elected in Gaza, and then murdered all its opposition; thus bringing the hard face of militant Islam home to the fools who believed the garbage spouted by the political wing of HAMAS, their brethren in the West bank are continuing, quietly and slowly, to normalise their lives and relations with Israel. This normalisation process itself was achieved with the Wall, which chopped off access by the suicide bombers who think the same as the terrorists of Hamas.

Remember the post about Helen Thomas, she of the revolving mouth and revolting mindset?

Well it seems like our Helen might be regretting shooting off her mindless statements about the Jews ‘getting the hell out of Palestine, and going to places like Poland or Germany’.

She’s already had one invite to a Commencement Day speech withdrawn on the grounds of  (insert any one of the objectionable or indeed actionable statements which our Helen gabbled out in the interview), and the Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, Marlyland has acted accordingly.

That cancellation might well be followed by many more. The Jewish population of America might be just getting started on their own private ‘Exodus’ arrangement!

Good evening everyone – oh, and “Death to the Jews”.

So here they come again. The MV Rachel Corrie is on its way from Cyprus to a rendezvous with the IDF somewhere off Gaza. Don’t put away those brutal paintball guns just yet boys. Not the luckiest name is it, the “Rachel Corrie”? If you’re going to take on the vicious Israelis you really don’t want to name your ship after a “peace protestor” who lost a fight with an Israeli bulldozer. Even if they shoulder their arms and reach first for the paint.

There she is, on the extreme Left there, teaching Palestinian children the Way of Peace by showing them how to burn the flags of the infidels. And there she is again, on the Left below, in another spontaneous show of infidel flag burning – so essential for peace, dontcha know.

The boat which carries her name is carrying essential supplies which the people of Gaza badly need. You know, like the cement for tunnels through which Allah’s rockets will arrive, inshallah.

Elsewhere, Turkey buried six soldiers today, killed yesterday by the PKK terrorist outfit. Turkish PM Erdoğan responded by calling on the world to punish Israel. Truly, you could not make it up.

Back in Israel, the Worst Country Evah has stood by its word and shipped the aid to Gaza, paintball splotches and all no doubt. About time too. As the BBC tells us:

In 2007, Israel and Egypt tightened a blockade of Gaza after the Islamist movement Hamas took power there. Israel says it allows about 15,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid into Gaza every week, but the United Nations says that is less than a quarter of what is needed.

Three billion doesn’t buy you much webspace, does it? The page stopped before the BBC got around to telling us that Israel allows in humanitarian aid while Egypt operated a total blockade for three years. Happy to set the record straight.

I utterly condemn the blatant disregard for life that the Israeli Government has shown in its attack on the peaceful convoy of small ships heading towards the Gaza coast. Their action, to send armed Israeli Special Forces to board, attack and subdue the protesters on board unarmed vessels was, is, and always will be wrong. I have always argued that this type of unilateral action is both wrong and unnecessary.

The Israelis should have stood off and sunk the ships without further warning, as by their actions they have placed in harms way many Israeli Special forces personnel.

La Loi et L’Odeur

First, some interesting trivia: did you know that the word “boycott” comes from a turn-of-the-century English land agent, Charles Boycott, who was ostracized for refusing to reduce rent in Ireland?

Second, despite the best efforts of the French language police, many English words, including “boycott” have been adopted in France for everyday use.

The video below shows a group of green t-shirts (Green Shirts) walking through a supermarket in France, removing product imported from Israel from the shelves. By-standers caught shopping, and employees — probably wishing for invisibility cloaks, or some kind of a StarTrek transporter system — stand by.

Watch this video and tell me what you think. Is this a “boycott” ? Or, is it theft and intimidation?

I think it’s theft, and I also think that it’s very intimidating.

Benjamin Netanyahu will become the next Prime Minister of Israel. The UK And Irish media today is playing out the results of the Israeli election as a Kadima victory with endless triumphant images of Ms Livni. By contrast they point to a “disappointing” result for Likud. Oh really? Last time round, Likud won 12 seats. This time round they have won 27 seats. Yes, clearly a disaster.

Anyway, that’s beside the point because since Israel uses PR it means no one Party can win the sufficient number of seats to form a government on its own. So it’s all about coalition building and THAT, my friends, is why Bibi will become PM. There is a larger number of right of liberal parties that will come together and form a coalition, with Netanyahu as PM. So I trust the Euro media enjoy all those smiling images of Livni – bottom line is that her left-wing policies have lost and sometime in the next few weeks, we should see the emergence of a new Israeli government which rejects the ludicrous “two-state” solution and which will restore Israeli pride.
