nuclearsign203afp.jpgYou have to hand it to the Mad Mullah’s – they have complete contempt for the "International Community" and the more they show it, the more the Internationalists love it! Iran has issued dual, defiant statements with Chief thug Ahmadinejad announcing that the nation had 3,000 active centrifuges to enrich uranium and the top ayatollah appointing a new Islamic Revolutionary Guards commander who once advocated military force against students. A force for stability as the Fabulous Baker boys would have you believe or an approaching nuclear holocaust?

What exactly is a "skimpy headscarf"? I was reading that the Mad Mullahs in Iran are unhappy at the idea that women might wear them. Now I can understand things like a skimpy bikini perhaps, but a skimpy headscarf?? Similarly, Iranian barbers who offer "un-Islamic" hairstyles are being closed down, and eye-brow plucking has been banned. On a more positive note, tattoos have been also banished. I have to say that I fail to understand the current enthusiasm people have for tattoos, driven not doubt by celebs like the Beckhams. I think they look vulgar but where I differ from the Mullahs is that I believe that people have the right to look vulgar if they so wish. Iran continues to mutate into this totalitarian Islamic State with a death cult as a political philosophy. Time we sent in the planes, and a few top hairdressers!

Iran. It’s a force for stability in the Middle East.

Or at least that’s what those such as Richard Armitage and James Baker would have you believe. So, that must be why it has taken to shelling Iraq.

Jabar Yawar, a deputy minister in the Kurdistan regional government, said four days of intermittent shelling by Iranian forces had hit mountain villages high up on the Iraqi side of the border, wounding two women, destroying livestock and property, and displacing about 1,000 people from their homes.

I see that Iran, that "stabilising force in the Middle East" as James Baker and his fabulous left wing pals would have us believe, is back in the news today

An Iranian woman faces being stoned to death for having an affair with a married man. Mother- of- two Mokarrameh Ebrahimi has spent the last 11 years in jail for adultery with Jafar Kiani. Authorities in Tehran confirmed yesterday that Kiani had been executed last week. Now human rights groups fear 43-year-old Ebrahimi will suffer the same brutal fate. A stoning pit, in which she will be buried up to her neck, has already been prepared for her.

Just how barbaric is this regime? Why do liberals not appreciate that it is a global menace? It’s not just the fact that they use stoning pits, once they have nukes they will use those too. It’s time we took  Ahmadinejad’s evil regime out. I welcome Amnesty’s criticisms of Iran on this issue, but when it comes to the crunch, and something actually has to be done, I expect Amnesty will insist that no military action is taken against this most evil of political regimes. The people of Iran deserve much better than the Mad Mullahs, but they won’t throw off the shackles of these goons unless we help.

uchavez.jpgcarter-chavez-best-02.jpgDid you see that Iran and Venezuela have taken another step in forging their own squalid "axis-of-evil"/diesel? " The two countries will united defeat the imperialism of North America," a beaming Chavez told a news conference during an official visit to the Islamic Republic, which the United States has labeled part of an "axis of evil". Chavez went on to describe our soldiers as "barbarians."

Chavez and Ahmadinejad are vile tyrants, loathed by significant sections of their own people. They both despise the noble values that the United States embodies and sooner or later they will both fall from power. And yet, is it not odd that despite their hatred for our civilised values, people like London Mayor Ken Livingstone and Jimmy Carter can’t stop loving them?

Nuclear_fireball.jpgIt’s pretty clear that Iran reckons that the EU will accept the reality of a Nuclear Iran.

"A senior Iranian member of parliament has said that the Islamic Republic is ready to "pay the price" for safeguarding its nuclear rights, the official IRNA news agency reported.  Head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Majlis (parliament) Alaeddin Boroujerdi made the remarks in his meeting with Vice Speaker of Ghanaian Parliament Malek al- Hassan Yaccob. Boroujerdi expressed hope that ongoing negotiations between Iran and Europe on the nuclear issue will lead to mutual understanding within the framework of the legal rights of Iranian nation. His remarks came just one day after Iran held high-level nuclear talks with the European Union on the occasion of an International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) meeting in Vienna. Javad Vaedi, a deputy to Iranian chief nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani, met earlier today with Robert Cooper, a top aide of EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana, which was intended to prepare for more talks between Larijani and Solana. "Today’s working session was good. I consider it kind of constructive … (but) you should not expect kind of a huge miracle," Vaedi said. "We made progress but one cannot expect miracles in this business," Cooper, together with Vaedi, told reporters at a press briefing following the meeting. "

The only progress Iran needs is continued Euro-complacency towards its apocalyptic nuclear ambitions. I do not believe for one second that the EU has the guts to stand up to Iran and impose the necessary economic sanctions. I also believe that the US State Department – that nest of pro-Arabist vipers at the heart of the US Government – would reluctantly accept a nuke-ready Iran. But the fact is that Israel is unable to live with a State committed to wiping it off the face of the earth. Therefore a great moment of crisis is coming when Iran HAS to be stopped before it can destroy Israel. The UN will fail to do anything, the EU will prove little better – so it comes down to the US and Israel.

Time to Thank a Soldier

On the Iran/Iraq border with Michael Yon and the Queen’s  Royal Lancers:

“…Some American soldiers actually tell me that the Brits get all the good “kit” (gear), which is interesting because the Brits say the Americans get all the good kit. The Brits also think we level a city block in Baghdad every time someone shoots a mortar at us, but that’s not true. Meanwhile, the Americans think the Brits aren’t doing any fighting in Basra, and that’s definitely not true….”

Nuclear_fireball.jpgEverything is relative, I guess. The MSM struggles to get around the immutable fact that Iranian President Ahmadinejad is a prize lunatic. His bellicose statements rather invalidate the idea he is a man that can be reasoned with in any way. His pledge is that Israel will be wiped off the map, and we all know his preferred method – a nuclear holocaust for those pesky Jews.

But the media like to portray the likes of Ayatollah Rafsanjani as a moderate and so I think it is worth considering a quote from the lips of this "moderate"…

"If the day comes when the world of Islam is equipped with the arms Israel has in (its) possession, application of an atomic bomb would not leave anything in Israel, but the same thing would just produce damages in the Muslim world."

When the "moderates" openly contemplate the nuclear destruction of Israel, surely we can see that Iran cannot be allowed to get nukes. This is a huge issue of global significance which we MUST deal with – and yet at the G8 SUMMIT this week, our leaders turn away from uncomfortable reality and prefer instead to cover off global warming as their priority – which must be very welcome news to the Mullahs who seek to finish off what Hitler started

Meanwhile, in the Persian Gulf…

 From Pat Dollard:

The Enterprise makes three. Three carriers and three strike groups, total.

This finalizes the first phase of military escalation against Iran that VP Cheney promised to the Gulf States.

The message we sent to Iran in Baghdad was signigicant only to people who don’t know better, like the media and dumb politicians. The real message is in the weapons of mass destruction, the instruments of the apocalypse of Iran’s nuclear facilities and infrastructure, that we have strung like a Damocles sword above their heads. Bush has made it quietly clear to them that we are going to strike. Forget Condi’s for-the-press face today. For many months now, while no one has been able to really see and understand, we have been waging a war of finality against Iran and her ambitions. While everyone in the media, and on the media’s receiving end, have been wringing their hands in anquish at our seeming impotence and inaction, the VP has been functioning as a nearly one man army/terrorist wreaking havoc through the halls of power in Tehran. Why do you think he has been taking all those trips through the region? To discuss the latest trends in couscous recipes? He has been shoring up relationships, building strategy, and waging the necessary war against Iran. Why is he about to visit all of Iran’s northern neighbors? Why has Iran been taking Americans captive in a feverish panic? Coincidence? Why is the architect of Iran’s nuclear program, Vladimir Putin, about to head to a private summit with Bush? Why all the posturing about a missile shield? It’s all about Iran, and Putin is working to get all he can as the price for his blessing.

No one is asleep at the wheel. Except the media and the Democrats.

There’s a lot, and I mean A LOT, that’s been going on behind the scenes. An entire war, in fact.

End Game? America Lines Up Her Ducks.

Pat Dollard writes about America’s historic meeting with Iran:

For some reason, no one told you that just 5 days before Monday’s talks, an entire floating army, with nearly 20,000 men, comprising the world’s largest naval strike force, led by the USS Nimitz and the USS Stennis, and also comprising the largest U.S. Naval armada in the Persian Gulf since 2003, came floating up unnanounced through the Straight of Hormuz, and rested right on Iran’s back doorstep, guns pointed at them. The demonstration of leverage was clear. And it also came on the exact date of the expiration of the 60 day grace period the U.N. had granted Iran.

And it came just a few weeks after Vice President Dick Cheney had swept through the region and delivered a very clear and pointed message to the Saudi King Abdullah and others: George Bush has unequivocally decided to attack Iran’s nuclear, military and economic infrastructure if they do not abandon their drive for military nuclear capability. Plain and simple.
