‘containers must hold no more than 100ml’

By Mike Cunningham On May 28th, 2015 at 11:30 am

I travelled down to Stansted to meet up with my eldest grandson, who had travelled up from the South-east segment of London with his Dad and Mum so I could catch up with how much I had missed since last seeing him at Christmas. The journeys back and forth were routine, and of course short; my time with my son and my grandson was limited because of the need to return to the airport early: but it was a magic time for a thoroughly-chuffed Grandad.

The magic time was diluted by the ritual humiliation doled out in generous quantities by the Dept. Transport’s Airport Security Gestapo, all of whose employees have been taught to ignore the common English words such as ‘Please’, instead relying on a imperious beckoning of a bent hand to signify that the culprit should walk through the ceremonial  punishment arch (metal detector); after which you are subjected to a pat-down search which came pretty close, in my case anyway, to being a classic case of common assault. If the prospective traveller says anything at all to respond to this gross invasion of privacy and personal space, you are immediately accused of ‘interfering with a lawful search’ and in danger of not only missing your flight, but of actually being detained by this bunch of out-of-uniform Nazi stormtroopers.

A level of security is necessary, when it is known that the murderous fanatics would have murdered their own families as a ‘price worth paying’ to smuggle their explosives on board the target aircraft; but one does have to ask the simple question,‘How many 74-year-old white Geordie-born bearded Grandfathers have actually been discovered making plans to murder a plane-load of strangers’?

It seems as though the attempt to gun down Americans who were simply stating that they preferred that the First Amendment be upheld,  was brought to an abrupt end by one brave sixty-year-old Policeman, who advanced on the threat, killing one terrorist, wounded the second; then, as the wounded clown attempted to reach for a backpack, shot him twice more for being ‘really, really, stupid’!

But there are deeper questions here, which is when and will we see this brave American saluted by President Obama on the steps of the White House; or will this failed attempt to bring the deadly salute to a deadly religion not be the same say, as the salute to a deserter’s parents, or will it be downplayed to a ‘Domestic disturbance’ which somehow doesn’t qualify for a visit by senior Cabinet members such as the Attorney General, who probably would be visiting just to make sure that the two gunmen hadn’t been deprived of their civil rights and liberties without due cause.

And before anyone asks, I really do not believe that Pamela Gellar is a ‘Bigoted Blogger’!

The thing which I wish to put across is to ask why we are not exporting more of the same to Syria, where hopefully the efficient Security and Military infrastructure of the admirable Assad Government can target them best?

My own opinion of these three deluded clowns? Three less to worry about!

Several newspapers carry the news about the help given teenaged muslim girls by the terror group Islamic State to travel to the newly-established ‘Caliphate’, and there to breed, as usual, like rabbits whilst ‘marrying’ their ‘jihadi’ heroes. The Times (paywalled) splashes it Front Page, on top of the fold, as it tells of the ease with which they were to ‘infiltrate’ the jihad’ network, and how gullible young muslims are attracted to the messages of hate spewed by these murderous clowns. The newspapers all demand that ‘something should be done’ to stop the exodus of suicidally-inclined muslim girls and women; supposedly dazzled by the glamour of blowing either themselves, or someone else, into myriad pieces of bloody flesh and mangled bone.

Well, surprisingly enough, I do not agree with this policy of obstruction. After all, they haven’t committed any crime within this Kingdom? So what I would propose is, if these stupid brainwashed clones all want to travel to meet with their heroes, we should expedite their travel, give them a speedy run to Luton, and organise a big band send-off to their sandy cemetery.

We should also commence an advertising campaign telling these truly silly people that they WILL be joining the seventy-one, and as soon as they sign on the dotted line stating that under no circumstance would they be returning, and paying over the cost of the plane fare, we could get many more rag-heads to join the circus, and in a very short space of time, our own terrorist problem would have been significantly decreased.

A  small salute to Corporal Nathan Cirillo, the victim of yet another Muslim fanatic, who was murdered just because he was there; because he wore the uniform; because he was doing his duty!

I was just a tourist; honest!

With regard to the detention of the terrorist collaborator and ex-inmate of Guantanamo Bay, will the Government be stating that  Moazzam Begg used some of the millions he was paid as compensation for his “unjust detention” to travel to Syria in order to play ‘Jihadi’ with the big boys?

Good News! Abu Hamza is feeling unwell.

Terror suspect Abu Hamza al-Masri’s health has worsened and he should not be extradited to the US before a scan, his lawyer has told the High Court. Abu Hamza is among five men asking judges to grant an injunction against their extradition from the UK.

Desperate stuff . Put him on the next cargo plane – in the hold.

Just because we have become increasingly disinterested in Al Queda does not mean it has become disinterested in us;

The CIA has disrupted an al-Qaeda plot to bring down a US-bound airline using a new underwear bomb around the anniversary of Osama bin Laden’s death. Terrorists in Yemen reportedly planned to use a device similar to the one that failed to explode on a plane to Detroit on Christmas Day in 2009 but American officials said the new bomb was significantly more sophisticated. While the would-be suicide bomber had yet to select a target and there was no imminent threat of attack, the plot served as a reminder of al-Qaeda’s ambitions to strike against US civilians. Leon Panetta, the US defence secretary, confirmed the operation last night, saying the US must “continue to remain vigilant against those that would seek to attack this country.”

In this murky world of counter terrorism, there are a lot of unknowns, and with the Obama regime one can never be sure of what is not being said BUT there are at least 3 points to be made here;

1. Thank goodness our Intelligence services did disrupt this plot to take innocent life.

2. Yemen seems to feature as a base for Islamic terrorism and so should be targeted in all possible ways.

3. Commercial aircraft seem to still feature very highly in the evil mindset of Islamic terror. They must love the idea of causing such horrendous mass murder.

Abu Hamza (left) with a masked bodyguard

I”m not impressed but I am relieved to read this;

The European Court of Human Rights has backed terror extraditions from the UK to the United States. The Strasbourg court held there would be no violation of human rights for those facing life and solitary confinement in a supermax prison. The court sanctioned the extradition of Abu Hamza, Babar Ahmad and three others.

And which dangerous country had requested the deportation of these alleged Jihadi? Which rogue nation needed the ECHR to consider whether it was capable of providing a fair trial?

Yes – the United States.

It is shameful that we sought permission from this Euro-Court to deport terrorist suspects wanted by our closest ally.

As I say, I view the ECHR with complete contempt BUT I am still happy that Hamza and the crew are going west!
