the blame game

By ATWadmin On May 1st, 2007 at 7:27 am

The ‘fertiliser terror’ scum have been tried, found ‘guilty’ and justly given ‘life’, although I, along with many others, consider this the lesser sentence, but as the British judicial sysytem is precluded from the appropriate ‘death’ term, it’ll have to do. I say appropriate, because although these evil scumbags didn’t get to the point where they killed anyone, the intent was surely there!

However, the point of this post is to examine the response of almost all the newspapers and mainstream t.v. stations, which is to pounce upon the one perceived "failure" of the Security Services to pick up and follow through on the links between the ‘fervent five’ and the leader of the London 7/7 suicide club! In Alison’s post on this same trial, mention is made of the time and people needed to comprehensively cover all the suspects under surveillance, and I invite your focus to rest upon one statistic, and that is the 33,000 man-hours logged by the covering squads. Thirty-three thousand hours, and all the mainstream media clowns pick on is the fact that M.I.5 missed a connection between one bunch of fanatics and another!

We hear calls for the usual "Independent Inquiry" complete with some senior Law Lord to examine all aspects of this case, because ‘relatives of the dead need answers’. Are they all mad? Instead of a chorus of approval for a tough job, and an even tougher trial well done; all we hear are shouts of condemnation becuase one conversation and one linked car number were not followed through! All we heard last night were accusations from highly-paid but usually woefully ignorant t.v. newsreaders that M.I.5 had failed miserably, and those people who had failked should immediately be identified, tried and exposed to the British public as the fools and failures they were!

I have made this observation before, and will probably do so again, but I truly despair at the standards and behaviour of the people who decide what we read and see, both on t.v. and print! Why do they always head towards the negative? The answer, unfortunately, is neither complex nor devious; the bad news always makes for better headlines, for better sound-bites, for better ratings. Good news, such as the conviction of these would-be murderers, doesn’t sell newspapers!

Sad that; sad but true!

Jose_Zapatero_kaffiyeh.jpgYes, we know that the Spanish Government led by little Zapatero are paella-eating castanet waving surrender monkeys. So we can’t be surprised to discover that a Spanish judge has indicted three U.S. soldiers in the 2003 death of a Spanish journalist who was killed when their tank opened fire at a hotel in Baghdad. Sgt. Shawn Gibson, Capt. Philip Wolford and Lt. Col. Philip DeCamp were charged with homicide in the death of Jose Couso and "a crime against the international community." This is defined under Spanish law as an indiscriminate or excessive attack against civilians during war.  Following the incident, then-Secretary of State Colin Powell said the troops responded after drawing hostile fire from the hotel. He said a U.S. review of the incident found the use of force was justified.

But Spain is trying to curry favour with the Islamic guys still kinda upset about that pesky 1492 "tragedy of Andalusia" business. And so it will issue meaningless indictments which show the AQ guys that Spain is on its knees, ready to submit, prepared to flail at the USA. That’s what happens when Euroweenie leftists get into power.

Britain hearts terrorists! Oh we just LOVE ’em. I see that two Libyan terror suspects have won an appeal against deportation from the UK in a major defeat for the government. The men, known only as DD and AS, argued they could be jailed and tortured if sent home, despite a special deal between the countries. But in the first test of the case, the Special Immigration Appeals Commission said the men could not be sent back.  Sending these two dangerous terrorists back to where they came would only endanger their human rights, so we have to keep them so that they can endanger our human right life. Once again, we see how the grotesque European Convention on Human Rights creates paralysis of justice, works in favour of terrorists, and ensures that we are the laughing stock of the world. We are NOT allowed to deport terrorists because the EU says so.

We all know that Saddam had WMD’s and some think it was necessary to invade Iraq to ensure he didn’t get the chance to use them, again. What? No way – EVERYONE knows that they didn’t exist. or at least they weren’t around by the time US forces went in. They had gone away. He only was pretending that he had them and fooled the intelligence services of just about every country in the world.Yes? No. Melanie Phillips is one of my favourite journalists and she provides us with some deeply troubling possibilities as to what happened those pesky WMD’s here.

Here’s the quick background for you;

Having served for 12 years as an agent in the US Air Force’s Office of Special Investigations Mr Gaubatz, a trained Arabic-speaker, was hand-picked for postings in 2003, first in Saudi Arabia and then in Nasariyah in Iraq. His mission was to locate suspect WMD sites, discover threats against US forces in the area and find Saddam loyalists, and then send such intelligence to the Iraq Survey Group and other agencies. Between March and July 2003, he says, he was taken to four sites in southern Iraq— two within Nasariyah, one 20 miles south and one near Basra — which, he was told by numerous Iraqi sources, contained biological and chemical weapons, material for a nuclear programme and UN-proscribed missiles.

The point is exactly as Melanie puts it. If Gaubatz’s claims are correct, then the Republicans won’t touch them because they reveal the incompetence of the Bush administration in failing to neutralise the danger of Iraqi WMD. The Democrats won’t touch them because they would show President Bush was right to invade Iraq in the first place. It is an axis of embarrassment. Meanwhile, with a little technical advice from Beijing, is Syria is now enriching the uranium and Iran  making the missiles? Is it worth open investigation?

bin-laden.jpgLet me tell you that closing your eyes and hoping that a bad problem goes away is a very poor strategy. Life doesn’t work that way, no matter how unfair it all seems to be. Since 9/11, those of us who urge that Al Queda be smashed into the dust without mercy everywhere it exists, and that those regimes which give comfort to Al Queda be also confronted, have been increasingly marginalised. We are now portrayed as bellicose "war-mongers" – hell bent on setting the Arab Street on fire. We lack subtlety. In the States, a senior Democrat in the shape of Harry Reid declares the war in Iraq to be lost.  Al Queda declares Iraq as the front line in its battle to establish the global caliphate. So if we lose the war, what happens? If we retreat what will Al Queda do? The answer is simple – it expands and starts to come after us…

You see, running away from these Islamic terrorists only encourages them. Seeking to find ways to negotiate with them only makes us look weak. Further there IS nothing to negotiate. They are probing to  find their way into our lands and when they come here they come to kill us. Nigeria, for example, is a happy training ground for AQ. Tens of thousands of Nigerians make their way into Britain every year – what chance an AQ cell gets through? And then what? – do we just wait for the inevitable atrocities that so motivate these followers of the ROP?

We are at war with militant Islam. We either destroy it or it will destroy us. I favour the former, but the MSM and the liberal left seem to favour some compromise in between. There is none. There was no compromise on 9/11, 7/7, Bali, Madrid. The war on militant Islam will only be won by us going on the offensive. The portents are ominous – it is as if Harry Reid sums up the elites view "We’ve lost". Then may God help us – because it doesn’t end it retreat, it ends in defeat, subjugation and the destruction of all we hold dear.

amnesty.gifWhen I was younger, I had this notion that Amnesty International (AI) was a worthy organisation, fighting on the part of freedom and liberty for all. The fact that some of my favourite comedians like Peter Cook and John Cleese lent their name to it also encouraged me, of course I should have known better. However one of the side effects of 9/11 has been to expose the contemporary AI as little more than a bunch of US-hating Jihad-loving morally relativist hypocrites. The light in their iconic candle has long gone out. Today comes the news that AI has condemned Iraq as the world’s fourth highest user of the death penalty. More than 270 people have been sentenced to death since mid-2004 and at least 100 of them have been executed, the report said. That 270 would include the Bagdad butcher Saddam, his accomplices and those captured and convicted Jihadists. Such application of Iraqi justice appalls the brave boys and girls at Amnesty. I presume they wanted to see Saddam undergo anger management classes and perhaps a little aromatherapy?Let me explain why I have come to despise Amnesty. Like so many other organisations of the left, it has gradually moved to the point where by embracing modern day liberalism it CANNOT distinguish between right and wrong. That would be just tooo judgemental. So it attacks the Iraqi Government in this report, but fails to accept that a major WAR has been happening in that country, a war conducted by Islamic terrorists, self-detonators, by the same people who brought us 9/11. The Iraqi Government has an absolute right to apply its own legal standard of justice to those convicted of crimes such as genocide (Saddam) and mass murder (The Jihadi). Where does AI get the "moral right" to condemn Iraq for this. Oh yes, that’s right – because all good lefties oppose capital punishment and God help any nation that diverges from AI opinion, such as the US.

I’ve watched AI locally escort suspected Al Queda (ex-Gitmo)operatives into media outlets; I’ve heard AI spokesmen explain why the war on Islamic terror is unacceptable to them; I’ve also heard AI spokesmen make the most outrageous accusations against US behaviour at Guantanamo Bay. It’s as if George Bush is the very manifestation of evil in their eyes akin to Ahmadinejad. Kim Kin Il, Mugabe and the rest of the gang.

Here’s the bottom line. Amnesty International has morphed into an abomination, a hateful love-in for US bashers, a bastion for liberal self-loathers. It now sees terrorist and terrorised as the same. It insists that it has a right to impose its own faux values on others and dares to proclaim itself on the "high moral ground" when in fact it is sunk in the sewers of its own twisted morality.

Terrible news from Iraq today, with at least 170 people having been killed in a string of attacks in Iraq’s capital, Baghdad – the worst day of violence since a US security operation began. In the deadliest incident, some 120 people were killed in a car bombing in a food market in Sadriya district. A witness said the area had been turned into “a swimming pool of blood”.  Women and kids were amongst those slaughtered. Naturally the media present this as a failure for American policy. It is not. It is confirmation of how EVIL the Jihadists actually are, it is evidence of their absolute CONTEMPT for the lives of fellow muslims, and above all it is a reminder that you never “negotiate” with such psychotic scum, you hunt them down and kill them before they come for you.

Goose Stepping on the 91st

By ATWadmin On April 7th, 2007 at 6:42 pm

Easter Sunday traditionally marks the time when most people across the Christian world celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.  The symbol of the Easter egg is supposed to represent the advent of new life.  In Oireland, however, they seem increasingly less keen on commemorating life as commemorating death – death by terrorism, that it.  For tomorrow, another goose-stepping parade of soldiers (watched by Bertie and the Republic’s foreign-born president) will take place in the Irish capital.  Furthermore, another 100 or so sickening gatherings of human flotsam are set to gather across Ulster and Ireland to ‘honour’ those who gave their lives ‘for Irish freedom’

I know, it sounds like the sort of cobblers Mel Gibson thundered out in Braveheart.  The saddest thing of all is the number who are besotted – not only with the terrorist lionisation at the heart of these gatherings, but with the Provo ‘one last push and we’ll have the entire island’ fantasia.  For make no mistake, tomorrow is long on bullshit; short on contemporary reality.

In most countries the ‘independence day’ (if they have one) is held on the actual day the sovereignty of the former ruler came to an end. In Malta, for example, there are three days in the year to mark the loosening of ties with the United Kingdom.  September 21st is Jum l-Indipendenza (Independence Day); December 13th marks Republic Day (when the Queen was replaced as Maltese Head of State); and Freedom Day takes place on March 31st (the day when the Maltese gained absolute autonomy).

You could argue that Irish independence took place either in 1921 or 1949.  Nonetheless, there is no official commemoration of these two dates.  The Irish seem to be engrossed by lowering themselves to instead honour a terrorist uprising whose geographical extent hardly benefited what is now the territory of the Republic.  The uprising had virtually no support; was confined almost exclusively to Dublin alone; was totally pointless as Home Rule was already on the statute book at Westminster; and led to 450 deaths of which only 76 were amongst the rebels themselves (the rest were innocent civilians).  Most wars of independence are fought in uniforms on battlefield, not between the forces of law and order and a few cliquish idiots with ideas well above their station!!

What is perhaps the biggest irony of all is that the Irish are increasingly keen to commemorate the very event which makes the aspiration for Anschluss impossible.  The Irish, like the Indians, failed to realise that there was no way they could keep a united entity outside United Kingdom rule.  The difference today, of course, is the Indians are now reconciled to reality.  Judging by the triumphalist bile that will definitely flow from the gobs of Provo terrorists and apologists tomorrow, republicans are still light years from reconciling themselves to reality.

Bread And Circuses

By ATWadmin On March 28th, 2007 at 6:01 pm

A very deep conversation took place last night with Mrs Right-Wing Zionist Conspirator, who is currently in wailing and gnashing of teeth mode after she began to truly contemplate what our benighted country has allowed to be done to itself.

How have we let our politicians do this to us, she wanted to know? How is it that we have sleepwalked into a situation where the only Parties most people feel can win anything have already magnanimously decided the outcome of the big issues for us so we dont have to trouble ourselves – Mass Immigration, Crime, EU Membership, Taxation, Welfare and Benefits, the Environment. The cracks between those Parties policies are now so minute you could barely drive a UKIP by-election vote through them.

Pick a major issue where any of the three ‘main parties’ are offering practical proposals (as opposed to empty rhetoric such as pretend Consevative ‘euroscepticism’) which genuinely differ from each other. Pick five, or ten. It doesnt matter. Those issues simply no longer exist. We have sleepwalked into a situation where minor voices such as UKIP can be financially attacked by the supposedly impartial Electoral Commission for clerical errors yet the Lib Dem voices of consensus can take donations from convicted felons who dont live in Britain and be allowed to keep the cash. A situation where BNP members can be forced out of their jobs (or be barred from serving in certain professions in the first place) simply for their political affiliation.

So how did we get here? The answer is simple – bread and circuses. Our corrupt and compliant media from the BBC to the Guardian to the Daily Mail has now become so debased and in thrall to the ‘Great Consensus’ of British Politics that there is virtually no voice outside of the Internet which provides a true departure from that consensus. Our minds are dulled into insensitivity and indifference by ‘reality TV’, playstations and, yes, a willing, government sponsored and at times almost ridiculously cartoonish enemy to vent our spleen at in the form of radical Islam.

The justification for each raft of new ‘anti-terrorism’ laws is that they are required to meet the threat of the Islamists, though the word ‘terrorism’ is used with a nudge-nudge, wink-wink ‘you know who we are talking about though’ moment from whichever Home Secretary is able to tear himself away from his secretary. But I and many others have come round, often slowly and painfully, to the conclusion that these laws (and those propogated by the EU such as ID Cards and the European Arrest Warrant – which for the uninitiated was proposed before 9/11 and rushed through with ill-concealed glee afterward) are nothing but measures designed to take tight control of a population made pliant by the need to deal with the domestic Islamic threat which our Government encourages and propogates at every turn.

If this Government was serious about combatting terrorism we would not be seeing the despicable spectacle now being played out in Ulster. We would not be seeing radical Islam protected, coddled and encouraged at every opportunity. We would not be seeing the deliberate propogation of an ideology thoroughly inimical to our supposedly democratic way of life at the same time as measures designed to combat its violent manifestations are being rushed through all the time, each one more draconian and greater in their potential for tyranny against our entire population than the next.

Britain, the once-great nation which defied Nazism (and Communism), has sunk low indeed. We are sleepwalking into the end of our democracy, and we are showing no signs of waking.

hicks.jpgLadies and Gentlemen, may I introduce you to a very special man – his name is David Hicks, he is an Australian, he is also a former farm hand and kangaroo skinner, and has spent five years at the US detention centre in Cuba. (A kangaroo court for a kangaroo skinner, drooled the BBC this morning) He was captured by US forces back in 2001 when he was fighting with the Taliban in Afghanistan. Now he has admitted that he was guilty of terrorist charges – which must make him that rarest of species – a guilty man in Gitmo.

He will now be sent home where he will face justice. BUT when we hear the likes of leftist Australian Senator Bob Brown say: "His guilty plea is simply a plea for release for exit from the inhumane Guantanamo Bay gulag. That’s a human response." we have to wonder what sort of sentence he will be given – maybe a community one? Senator Brown, who heckled Mr Bush about Hicks when the president addressed the Canberra parliament in 2003, said the guilty plea would not have held up under the Australian legal system. Growing public support in Australia for Hicks, and concerns from lawyers, judges and – of course – church leaders over the military commission system, has divided the government and threatened to become an issue at national elections, due in the second half of 2007.

So, Hicks is caught red-handed, locked up in Gitmo, confesses his guilt and the left STILL want to set him free. In the war on terror – there is a large section on the political Left who clearly want US to lose. They yearn to be Dhimmis, they see no good in our western values, all they can do is agitate in support of scum like Hicks. What a loathsome crew they are – the enemy within.
