I entirely agree with Con Couglin’s article in today’s Daily Cameron concerning the reality that prevails in the Middle East..

Lebanon’s “Cedar Revolution”, in which tens of thousands of Lebanese last year took to the streets to protest at the country’s continued occupation by Syria, was hailed in Washington and London as yet another example of the region’s desire to break free from the constraints of the tired autocracies that have dominated the political landscape for decades. And if Lebanon, through the effective exercise of people power, could manage to transform its political destiny, then what is to stop the ordinary people of Syria and Iran effecting similar regime change in Damascus and Teheran?

This is the central point the MSM studiously avoid discussing – since it cuts to the heart of the entire Middle Eastern issue. It’s NOT Israel’s battle with the Palis that is the driving force behind the fermented unrest but rather the threat of DEMOCRACY….

This is a prospect that is viewed with alarm among the ruling classes in Iran and Syria, who depend upon the tried and tested methods of state-sanctioned brutality and repression to keep themselves in power. Far from wanting to work with the West to make the region a better place, they want to keep it as it is. Rather than seeing governments established in Baghdad and Beirut that are accountable to the people, they are prepared to resort to any means at their disposal – from road-side bombs to assassination squads – to sustain themselves in power.

And yet, UNBELIEVABLY, the new received wisdom in Washington and London is that we must become friends with these tyrants…and the media call it the new realism???

Far from wanting to assist the West with its efforts to bring a breath of modernity to the politics of the Middle East, the unreconstructed autocrats of Damascus and Teheran are viscerally opposed to any attempt to make life better for the people they rule. The sooner Mr Blair grasps this simple fact, the better.

Now I can understand that there is the outside possibility that you MAY not have heard the news from that vast right-wing conspiracy member – the UN’s very own International Atomic Energy Agency – that a document it has obtained plainly shows Iran intent on" how to cast fissile uranium into metal was "related to the fabrication of nuclear weapon components."

Got that? The UN’s very own stool pigeon is saying that Iran wants Nukes.

Question: Where might those atomic war-heads be targeted?Nuclear_fireball.jpg

Well, we know that Iran plans to wipe Israel of the map. It has plainly said this, and a second Holocaust is on the Mullah’s agenda – despite the apathy of the UN/EU/MSM.

But those war-heads will also be capable of reaching every European capital, and even the coastal parts of the United States. So, whilst we pretend that it will all turn out fine,  if ONLY we engage with them, the Mullah’s prepare for war. The 13th Imam’s return draws nearer in their demented minds.

How long before Israel is FORCED to act – before it is too late?

car_afp203body.jpgI see that the new approach of trying to "engage with Iran and Syria" latterly adopted by the Bush Administration and the Blair junta is bearing fruit. Yes, today saw the assassination in Beirut of a leading anti-Syrian Lebanese minister and Maronite Christian leader. Mr Gemayel, 34, was shot in his car in a Christian suburb and rushed to hospital, where he died. That’ll teach him and his ilk to be critical of Syria.

Mind you, I heard Jeremy Al Bowen of the BBC express his utter mystification as to who might have carried this out…..quelle surprise!

Happy to tell that I have just watched ITN News and they have identified who is responsible. ISRAEL.  Apparently if Israel had not started the war against Hizbollah – none of this might have happened. PHEW – what a relief. Thank goodness for the anti-Semites, right?

In the alice-in-wonderland of contemporary international politics, it seems that Iranian psychopathic President Ahmadinejad can invite the Iraqi and Syrian presidents to Tehran for a weekend summit to "work out ways" to cooperate in curbing the runaway violence that has taken Iraq to the verge of civil war" – and the MSM swallows the entire fiction!

Iran is a key mover in creating the violence that the summit will "discuss." It’s puppet, Syria, is also enthusiastic in its desire to undermine democracy in Iraq. And yet, AMAZINGLY, the Iraqi President Jalal Talabani has accepted the invitation and will fly to the Iranian capital Saturday.

Post-US mid term elections, Iran has become even more arrogant. It believes the West has lost the will to stop it’s political and nuclear ambitions. And I think it is right. Ahmadinejad is winning and the day of the second Holocaust gets closer. Make no mistake what Iran seeks to achieve – it wants the Jews OUT of Israel and it knows how it will do it. It observes a weak US, a supine UN and EU, and it determines that it is the new driving power. So in this new surreal world, 1938 all over again, it can hold a "peace summit", the media cheer on, and some of us look on aghast.

795151-558440-thumbnail.jpgYes, I know lots of people say Blair is a hypocrite and they all have their reasons for believing this. Most of them are probably right, one way or another, but let me tell you why I believe Blair is a grotesque fraud. He’s in Afghanistan at the moment and he’s telling our troops that defeating the Taliban is vital to world security. WRONG.

Annihilating militant Islam is vital to world security – but the Taliban are but one small part of this jigsaw. Blair wants to cosy up to Iran and Syria – two leading advocates of global Jihad – in order to “change course” in Iraq. He also says he wants our troops to defeat the Taliban but as Mike Cunningham has explained, OUR is military is being short-changed in what they need to do the dangerous job required.

So whilst wiping out the Taliban is a key military objective – Blair cannot divorce it from the battle going on in Iraq. We must defeat and obliterate the militant Jihadi WHEREVER they are – and that includes in Britain!

I believe Blair’s fine words are entirely disconnected from his Government’s actions – and THAT is where the hypocrisy lies.  And lies. And lies again.

795151-536769-thumbnail.jpgWell. what a BIG surprise! Pompously titled "Human Rights Watch" have decided that the trial of Saddam Hussein was so flawed that its verdict is unsound. HRW said "serious administrative, procedural and substantive legal defects" meant the 5 November trial for crimes against humanity was not fair. Boo hoo.

Glad to see the Iraqi Government has come right out and declared that the trial was both "just and fair".

But as I mentioned here a few weeks ago, the political left cannot accept that Saddam should ever have been removed from power in the first place – for to do so would mean accepting that Bush was right all along! So did ANYBODY then think that they would then accept it when the Iraqi court made its judgement on this genocidal tyrant? Of course not!  In the mind of internationalist moral relativists like Human Rights Watch, it is George Bush who is the guilty party, it is America that should be in the dock, and Saddam should be restored to his golden throne.

The day Saddam swings from the noose is the day that justice WILL be done – no thanks to these self-proclaimed advocates of "human rights" who demonstrate that they have no concept of right and wrong. Executing tyrants who have ordered the death of hundreds of thousands, in accordance with Iraqi law, as voted for by the Iraqi people, is RIGHT.

Blood Money

So Tony Blair has gone jet-setting around the world once again.  This time his travels take him to Pakistan (though with the way this country is going, I’ll be surprised if Blair can find much difference between the ethnic composition here and on the streets of Islamabad) where brave Tone pledged £480 million in UK development aid for the country. In other words, Blair gave away nearly half a billion pounds of taxpayers money to a foreign country without even asking our permission.  Speaking personally, I am wholly supportive of giving money raised in this country to projects in this country; I am bitterly against my money being squandered on foreign endeavours – be they European agricultural incompetence or Third World basket cases.

We all know why Blair is throwing our money at Pakistan as ‘aid’.  It is because he wants the country (the same territory where Bin Laden, if he is still alive, will almost certainly be hiding out) to continue to be a willing partner in the war on terrorism.  He mustn’t realise that the best way to cooperate in the way on Islamism is to share techniques and expertise between our respective intelligence services, not to offer some sort of bribe in the way of taxes from the British people, quite a few of whom experience the day-to-day negativity of having to live in communities swamped by mass migration from Pakistan.

It seems to be the classic panacea for all socialists.  If you need to solve a problem, be it the inefficiencies of the NHS at home or the threat of Islamic terror abroad, you pay what amounts to a fiscal bribe.  It would be nice if money could be spent on more worthwhile causes.

HTlogo.gifFirst, a little background on the Islamic organisation Hizb-ut Tahrir which believes in a worldwide Islamic state under Shariah law.

According to the BBC (!) this organisation has used its website to promote racism and anti-Semitic hatred, calls suicide bombers martyrs, and urges Muslims to kill Jewish people. In Denmark, HT’s spokesman has been found guilty of distributing racist propaganda. The group is also banned in Germany and Russia. It’s former UK leader notoriously called the four Muslims who killed 52 people on 7/7 "the fantastic four".

Got that? Now then – where would YOU expect to find a senior member of this Jihad friendly organisation? That’s right – The Home Office! It’s reported that  HT "activist" Abid Javaid is a ‘senior executive officer’ in the IT department at the scandal-hit Immigration and Nationality Directorate which processes tens of thousands of asylum and visa applications every year. UNBELIEVABLE!

What CHANCE have we got of stopping the Jihadists when those who advocate the overthrow of Western democracies occupy privileged positions with the IMMIGRATION Directorate? Despite Tony Blair calling for it to be banned – this Government has conspicuously failed to ban this organisation in the UK and permits it to allow it to operate.

795151-547291-thumbnail.jpgI was amused to hear the BBC talk about some dynamic"fresh thinking" coming from the Bush administration on the Iraq war. The BBC attributed this "fresh thinking" to those newly invigorated Democrats such as Sen Carl Levin. Now then, what sort of idea could ol’ Carl have in mind? Well…

"Democrats, who won control of the U.S. Congress, said on Sunday they will push for a phased withdrawal of American troops from Iraq to begin in four to six months, but the White House cautioned against fixing timetables. "First order of business is to change the direction of Iraq policy," said Sen. Carl Levin, a Michigan Democrat who is expected to be chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee in the new Congress.

Democrats will press President George W. Bush’s administration to tell the Iraqi government that U.S. presence was "not open-ended, and that, as a matter of fact, we need to begin a phased redeployment of forces from Iraq in four to six months," Levin said on ABC’s "This Week" program.

Four to Six months to cut and run, to abandon Iraq to the Jihadi and the Saddamites, to betray solemn pledges given to the Iraqi people struggling to sustain a stable democracy in the teeth of such inhuman violence.

Should Bush go with this madness from Levin – and should the US and Coalition forces scarper from Iraq – then the war on Islamic terror will indeed have come to an end.

We will have lost. And then – they will come for us.  The Jihadists could not defeat us in Iraq – but thanks to the unrelenting anti-war attitude of the MSM and poor leadership by the President – they may be about to defeat us at home. Truly shocking. Listen to the Iraq Study Report findings PUT TO MUSIC.

Nuclear_fireball.jpgHow interesting! Iran’s Supreme Leader Head Mullah Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Fridayhas  called U.S. President George W. Bush’s defeat in congressional elections "a victory for Iran".

Bush has accused Iran of trying to make a nuclear bomb, being a state sponsor of terrorism and stoking sectarian conflict in Iraq, all charges Tehran denies."This issue (the elections) is not a purely domestic issue for America, but it is the defeat of Bush’s hawkish policies in the world," Khamenei said in remarks reported by Iran’s student news agency ISNA on Friday.

So the head of the most despotic regime in the Middle East congratulates the US electorate on making the right decision. Get the impression that Khamenei now sees all impediments removed from Iran’s road to create the second Holocaust?
