No, she should not have gone!

By Mike Cunningham On April 9th, 2014 at 9:39 am

Strangely enough, I do not believe that Maria Miller should have resigned. Most of the hue and cry which has pursued this lying, thieving and mendacious woman is based upon two inaccuracies.

The first is the simple fact that her thieving and lying behaviour was based upon rules of behaviour which have been replaced by much sterner equivalents. What she did was no more and no less than some 400 other MPs did before the eruption following the Telegraph’s expenses campaign. Where this thieving bitch went wrong was attempting to browbeat the Parliamentary Commissioner into either dropping or altering the terms of her investigation; and also attempting to place a block on the Telegraph reporter’s legitimate investigation by getting her advisor to quote Miller’s position as a Minister responsible for Press Regulation, to harass or bully the newspaper into dropping the investigation.

The second inaccuracy is of course that Miller was just doing her job by piloting through Parliament the disgusting and disgraceful Cameron-inspired Homosexual Marriage Act’s debasement of Marriage, and also controlling and pushing for the Leveson Royal Charter against Press Freedom; which pales into insignificance beside the fact that this Government, and the Labour bunch before it has given into Terrorism’s demands so that our own Queen Elizabeth was forced to accept into her presence one of the main leaders of SinnFeinIRA when Martin McGuiness sat down as a guest at Windsor Castle. A man who undoubtedly knew of the planned terror murder of her own dear Uncle, and the murder of well over two thousand other British subjects. So if he and his ilk can sit at Stormont and eat their fill at Windsor with Her Majesty, why should Miller have been eventually forced to fall on her sword to protect the Prime Minister, who was about to receive an almighty shellacking during Questions to the Prime Minister early this afternoon.

Just noticed this photo in the Mail, and ATW readers are invited to provise the caption for Martin’s Moment!

I wonder what it is about Jew-hating jihadist Sheikh Qaradawi, “massively influential and probably the number one scholar in the Arab world,” that attracts him to Ireland?

“Top Muslim clerics” will be there as well. One would think that “top Muslim clerics” would shun this hateful inciter of mass murder if what the governments of the West, law enforcement and the mainstream media tell us about Islam were true. But once again, no.

I have written about the savagery of the terrorist group called the UDA for many years. This bunch of barbarians (or, if you prefer shorthand, scum) killed hundreds of innocent people – mostly Catholic – in their horrific terror campaign. Involved in every form of criminality, the UDA have never been able to gain any political support directly from the unionist electorate but curiously enough, their leaders have become friendly with the Irish President, Mary McAleese, and they have been invited to dine with the Queen in Dublin today.

Five brigadiers from the loyalist Ulster Defence Association (UDA) have been invited to Wednesday’s event commemorating the Irish soldiers who died in World War I serving in the British armed forces.

This is portrayed as “progress”. I agree – we are progressing into Dante’s inferno, deeper and deeper into the moral abyss created by a political process which has – at it’s black heart – the desire to always APPEASE terrorists. And so it is that the morally repulsive UDA will be hailed in Dublin this day, given access to Her Majesty the Queen – and at the direction of the Irish President, Mary quite contrary.

To be clear, the UDA are not “loyalists”. They are terrorists who murdered, sold drugs, behaved as gangsters and they are part of what we are told as “progress”. The very fact that they are part of the grotesque circus taking place in Dublin shows just how morally bankrupt it all is.

Quite simply, the decision by the Irish and British Governments to invite loyalist terrorist godfathers to meet the Queen in Dublin is nauseating and yet another triumph for the terrorist class. It is good to know I am not alone in feeling like this;

“As loyalist paramilitary leaders prepare to attend a ceremony for the Queen’s visit to Ireland, a victims campaigner has said they should be visiting graveyards instead. UDA leader Jackie McDonald is among several prominent loyalists who have been invited to Islandbridge. There, the Queen will remember Irish soldiers who died in two World Wars.

But Jude Whyte, whose mother died in a loyalist bomb, said it was important to acknowledge the damage done in NI. Peggy Whyte was 52 years old when she was killed in a bomb, thought to have been left by the UVF, at the front of her home in University Street, Belfast in April, 1984. Her son said: “It would be far more important in terms of peace and reconciliation that they perhaps visited the graveyards and looked at the damage their organisation did,” he said. “Their casualties and victims were unarmed civilians who were no harm to anybody. “Try to understand the damage that the civilian population suffered here. “You broke a lot of hearts and you maimed and murdered a lot of people. It is time to say sorry to them.”

I agree with this lady. However, what does Peter Robinson’s parrot Rev Gibson have to say?

However, Reverend Mervyn Gibson who sits on the Loyalist Commission, defended those loyalists who had made “a significant contribution towards peace”.

Oh, by not killing too many more people? By being allowed to indulge in their criminal racketeering? By dealing drugs and ruining young lives? By spreading their toxic poison everywhere they infest?

Utterly hypocritical. Northern Ireland has embraced honouring terrorists – I haven’t. I remain opposed to all this depravity.

I read that US President Barack Obama cannot cross the border into Northern Ireland during his Irish trip unless he first travels to London, Taoiseach Enda Kenny has said.

The Government is gearing up for the historic May visit after President Obama announced on St Patrick’s Day that he wanted to return to his roots in Moneygall, Co Offaly. But the Taoiseach said that under diplomatic rules the president cannot cross the border without first setting foot in Britain.

Same rule should apply to the Irish President! 😉

Queen to pay state visit to Ireland

I was pleased to read that the Queen has been pleased to accept an invitation from the President of Ireland to pay a state visit to Ireland this year. The Queen will be accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh.

It seems to me that the Republic and UK should be good neighbours and whilst scum like Gerry Adamsand his IRA/Sinn Fein brigade  foolishly posture and would seek to deny the visit, most Irish and British people will simply wish it every success.

I note the timing is in May – the month of the Assembly election in Northern Ireland. The NIO is always keen to bring Royals over around election time to ensure that unionist nerves are calmed – so I trust that no such cynical motive lies behind the timing of this event.
