Sending a Message

By Patrick Van Roy On November 16th, 2015 at 1:56 am

obama1-compressedAs the World still reels from the attack in France the United States sends out it’s Message of Support.

The Obama Administration announced Sunday Night that it was Releasing 5 Gitmo Detainees over to the UAE, and Reiterated that it is Still planning on taking in a minimum of 10,000 Syrian Refugees into the Country.

Today France did a major set of Air Strikes against ISIS Targets in Syria. Tomorrow the French are holding a Special Session of it’s Government. It will be interesting to see if France invokes Article 5 of the NATO Treaty. Article 5 states an Attack on one NATO Nation is an Attack on ALL NATO Nations.  I do not believe Obama will live up to our part of that agreement. His Spokesman said tonight after restating the commitment to a minimum of 10,000 refugees when asked directly about Article 5 that the Obama Administration WILL NOT put Troops on the Table that he met with Putin to discuss a UN Solution and a continuation of the Syrian talks in Geneva.

Obama is not alone in these plans. Hillary Clinton stated last night in the Debate that “this is NOT our Fight”.

It couldn’t happen to a more deserving case.

What should be done

By Patrick Van Roy On August 23rd, 2014 at 10:41 pm

  1. “Make no distinction between terrorists and the nations that harbor them–and hold both to account.”
  2. “Take the fight to the enemy overseas before they can attack us again here at home.”
  3. “Confront threats before they fully materialize.”
  4. “Advance liberty and hope as an alternative to the enemy’s ideology of repression and fear.”

Plain and simple.

CaliphateThe world is at war.  You may not like it, you may not accept it, that doesn’t stop it from being true.  Every Nation that considers itself part of the “West” are targets that will be attacked.  They will not be attacked at first by Air or Sea, instead they will be attacked internally by people that believe dying in the act of killing others is the greatest honor.

Our governments sit paralyzed as we watch the fire spread.  Not one will act with the appropriate actions as they are highlighted above until blood is flowing in our streets. The last 6 years have been spent, doing the wrong actions militarily, diplomatically, and on every strategic front.

We are witnessing the results of these policies in Iraq, Syria, Gaza, and even the Ukraine.  The threat exemplified in Ukraine is different than the immediate threat from the Islamic Horde it is however a direct result of the inept policies of the past 6 years.

If you do not see the threat, if you blame Governments of the West for the threat due to anything other than inaction YOU are part of the problem.  People in each of our Nations are about to die, and it’s not by the hands of our own governments, the Military Industrial Complex, or the multitude of other theories we hear from lunatics.

We are about to be attacked by a highly motivated enemy that believes they can bring their Messiah to life by shedding our blood.

Mixed Messages

Sec of Defense Chuck Hagel is now saying the JV Team ISIS or ISIL or whatever alphabet soup the Jihadis are calling themselves this week are a bigger threat than we have yet to face in the war on terror. They say this as they strip our Military to the bones, and pull our troops out of position.

“They are beyond just a terrorist group. They marry ideology, a sophistication of … military prowess. They are tremendously well-funded. This is beyond anything we’ve seen.”

The current Administration has no clue on what they are doing, and have made us more vulnerable for attack here in the U.S. than we have been since before 9/11. They have been using the tools designed to monitor the terrorists amongst us to monitor political enemies, while at the same time leaving our southern flank wide open. The Hispanics are an economic problem however they are not the only people coming across our unsecure border.

So as the Golfer puts away saying everything is just peachy Hagel is speaking as though an attack is imminent. The hysterics and finger pointing that will take place when an attack occurs will be worse internally than the aftermath of 9/11.

The Hagel story is Here.

Compromise? They don’t know how to spell it, never mind what it means.

Listening on the Beeb’s Today Programme to what must be considered a true favourite of the BBC’s way of group-think. The woman being interviewed had a son who had been kidnapped by the Nigerian Boko Haram bunch of criminal terrorists, and he had been killed during a rescue attempt. The woman was being interviewed as she had personal knowledge of these muslim killers, but she was saying that the Nigerian government should ‘open a dialogue’ with these fanatics, they should explore ‘areas of compromise’; and if necessary her son’s killers should be released as part of a deal with the Boko Haram bunch, who hold nearly three hundred girls from a school in Northern Nigeria.

When I state ‘true favourite of the BBC’s way of group-think’, I believe that this is what has been a total ‘belief’ tenet of the Corporation for decades. We must, in the eyes of the BBC, always compromise, always defer to others, never ever stand on principle, never ever argue or stand up for what we, as a nation, used to believe in or argue from a moral standpoint.

The woman whose son was murdered by these muslim killers is, of course, tragically mistaken in hoping for dialogue or compromise with any group who operates under the shadow of terror, or the bullet. The Nigerian government must, in my own view, organise and operate a policy of ‘search and destroy’ against the shadowy terrorists who seem to operate with impunity in the north of that burdened and corrupt country. They must operate as we, in Great Britain, singularly failed to during our own terrorist struggle; they should operate on a ‘shoot to kill’ policy, they should operate on the fact that ‘the only good terrorist is a dead terrorist’ with no bargains, no cushy prisons, no cosy deals, and they should never, ever, offer a place in Government if the terrorists would only promise to ‘disarm and place their weaponry beyond use’; mainly because we all know how weasel promises like that end up!

With regard to the detention of the terrorist collaborator and ex-inmate of Guantanamo Bay, will the Government be stating that  Moazzam Begg used some of the millions he was paid as compensation for his “unjust detention” to travel to Syria in order to play ‘Jihadi’ with the big boys?

I just go on ‘wondering’

By Mike Cunningham On December 11th, 2013 at 4:18 pm

When Ashfaq Ahmad, said his son is “totally innocent” and the case against him “ridiculous”; I wonder if he really, truly believed it?

I just wonder if  the group of concerned professionals from across the UK who run the We are Babar Ahmad blog are somewhat dismayed at the trial outcome in America?

I wonder if the foolish ones who donated here are wondering if they can maybe get their money back?

Loved the quote from our hero about freedom:-

This phrase was chosen to give the impression that although captivity may imprison my body, my soul will remain free. Though captivity may physically restrict me, mentally and spiritually I will always live free and no-one can take that away from me.

My favourite quotation is:-

Alls well that ends well, especially as the fool finally pleaded guilty!

The new ‘Marathon’

By Mike Cunningham On November 4th, 2013 at 2:38 pm

When much younger, and living in South Africa, one of the ‘sporting highlights’ that others revelled in was a 48 miles monster marathon between Pietermaritzburg and Durban in Natal Province.

I knew one guy who regularly ran both legs of the race, one year downhill to Durban, and of course the next year up the hills to Pietermaritzburg. The extra ‘killer’ was of course if the weather turned ‘hot’ because the extra heat along with humidity picked off the unwary like targets on the skyline.

I always maintained that they were all daft, but I accepted it was clearly a case of ‘thats what turned them on’ so best of luck.

As with Natal, so with New York; but with the added edge of 2500 policemen surrounding the finish line, machine-gun-armed Coast Guard cutters sliding by the quaysides, and a full security screen for all the runners inclusive of transparent backpacks.

And the source of all the problem? The bastard  will probably get a reduced sentence, because he is blaming it all on his big, bad brother!

If him; why not him?

It seems in the topsy-turvy world of the Home Office, terror operatives, hate criminals and other criminal clowns that there has been a definite decision.
