why are you carrying a large sack of fertiliser in london, sir?

By ATWadmin On May 27th, 2007 at 10:03 am

So once more in this beleagured country of ours, with over two thousand terror suspects, all needless to state muslim crazies of one race or another, being tracked by our under-staffed and under-funded Security services, the Government is promising us more laws, more police powers, more actions against totally law-abiding British subjects of the Crown! We hear and read that  Labour’s own Dr. Strangelove himself, John Reid, is considering giving our police forces further powers to stop, search and detain people without the previous caution of reasonable suspicion that a crime has been committed.

Now I am amongst the first to back our police forces (Not SERVICES, that invention of scum such as Mandelson and Campbell) when they act legally to prevent murder on our streets, but I doubt very much if any of our so-called ‘masters’ have ever given one moment’s thought or consideration as to the legislation which has stuck them in this very place. Reid, Blair and the rest of the crow’s chorus shout out about the judiciary overwhelming the law with the judges support for the dreaded Human Rights of those under suspicion; and how such careful constructs such as the Anti-Terror laws, Control Orders and the like have been given short shrift by a liberal judiciary, against the will of Parliament and the people.  Don’t blame the judges, they’re only using the badly-constructed and ill-thought-through legislative toys given them by the Government. The answer is within the Labour leadership’s reach, but they will never grasp the ‘nettle’ of reality, and either derogate or dispense with the plethora of Human Rights legislation enshrined through our membership of the European Union.

Get rid of the bits of these laws which allow these judges to over-rule Parliament, and some good should surely come again! Unfortunately, the Scottish mafia, from Blair through Brown, Reid and the rest of the cabal won’t even touch their precious ‘Human Rights’ bullshit, because the liberal lefties all think it’s wonderful! The Labour M.P.’s, supporters of either Brown or Blair, won’t stand back and let their precious ‘rights’ legislation be tampered with either, because the Unions love the ‘rights’ goodies, and the Unions bankroll over half of the Labour M.P.’s now at Westminster.

So we’ll struggle on, swamped by a mixture of black, brown, khaki, yellow and all combinations in between, from Iraqi terrorist imams through Roma thieves, with the bombers making their plans while collecting their benefits from the DSS, and our overstretched Security services running from dyke to dyke, plugging the gaps with sellotape and expanding foam, until it is pointed out that the foam is actually destroying the environment!

BROWN-NOSING IRAN

By ATWadmin On May 27th, 2007 at 8:27 am

brown20blair.jpgPrime Minister-in-waiting Gordon Brown has been busy demonstrating one of the big differences between him and Tony Blair. For all his drippy lefty language, Blair was unafraid to use "hard power" to deal with Afghanistan and Iraq. That, of course, is why the MSM so despise him. But Gordon has other ideas as to how we cope with the Mad Mullahs in Tehran.

"We want a peaceful settlement to the Iran issue," he said. Asked directly if he could rule out military action, Mr Brown said simply that multilateral action and economic sanctions were the best way forward. "

The difficulty is that the only multilateral actions possible revolve around ineffective economic sanctions, limited by EU financial self-interest. So, the "soft power" Gordon favours won’t work, and indeed has already proven itself absolutely useless. So, where to for Gordon – more multilateral conferences, more empty statements…..?

SELLING OUT INDEPENDENCE?

By ATWadmin On May 27th, 2007 at 8:13 am

ukip.jpgI notice that The Times reports on another row afflicting the UK Independence Party. This time around, Nigel Farage UKIP leader, has been accused of selling out Party principles by his predecessor Roger Knapman. The substance of the claim is that whilst the UKIP has always been in favour of total withdrawal from the EU, it is now accepting the principle of subsidiarity which means accepting the authority of the EU to take decisions which are not devolved to national or regional government. The agreement containing acceptance of subsidiarity was signed in Bucharest last month between members of the European parliament’s Independence/Democracy Group, (IndDem) to which Ukip belongs, and Romania’s National Initiative party (Pin). At the same time Ukip also signed up to the principle of "reforming" the Common Agricultural Policy, something which it has previously refused to recognise at all.

Knapman has a point. Subsidiarity is not compatible with a policy fo withdrawal, and meaningful "reform" of the CAP is a pipedream! Has the UKIP lost the plot? I know we have UKIP supporters who read this blog, maybe they might like to comment?

SATURDAY NIGHT VLOG….

Here’s a criminal VLOG for your Saturday evening entertainment….!

IT WAS TWENTY YEARS AGO….IN 2007

By ATWadmin On May 26th, 2007 at 7:10 pm

Imagine it is 2027, it’s a quiet Saturday evening and you’re reflecting on the state in which we now find ourselves in.

The world has changed, dramatically, since those halcyon days of 2007 when topics like the war on terror and global warming dominated the news agenda. There has been unbelievable change in medical science, with governmental restraint gone. There has been a transformation in religion, and of course the debate on gay marriage is long since over. But hey, let’s review the changes we have seen…so, remember what happened to Iraq when the US pulled out as the Democrats took the White House? And remember the retreat from Afghanistan and the message that sent to AQ? And what about atomic city Tehran – who would have guessed its fate? Then again, what about green global taxes, framed by the UN and enforced by local Governments, good idea? And what about Europe after all those years of unlimited Islamification?

Twenty years of internationalist leftism, cheered on by the MSM.  Describe the world as you see it….

Hat-tip to Eric for the idea!

IRISH FASCISTS REJECTED AT THE POLLS

By ATWadmin On May 26th, 2007 at 9:07 am

Well then, I was very happy to see that IRA/Sinn Fein – the organised terrorist hypocrisy so beloved of the UK media – has had a disastrous result in the Irish Election. It looks like they will end up with NO advance whatsoever in terms of gained seats, and this is very good news indeed. Given the timing of devolution day in Northern Ireland – when these grinning monsters entered the government of Northern Ireland – the plan was that this would help push forward their prospects in the southern election. But  – whoops – it didn’t happen and the Adams family are in shock this morning. Where did it all go wrong?

It is reported that…

The party’s representation in the Dáil was down at least one seat after a high-profile loss in Dublin and the failure to capture several other heavily targeted seats.

The interesting question is why do the electorate in the south mostly REJECT the Provo-spawn, whereas nationalists in the North just love ‘em? Might it be that thirty five years of bombing and murder carried out by IRA/Sinn Fein in Northern Ireland have softened up and morally bankrupted a large section of the electorate here whereas there has been no such concomitant situation in the Republic? Also, constitutional instability in Northern Ireland only encourages insurrection whereas a settled constitution in the Republic leaves marginal room for those who advocate revolution.

LEAVING ON A JET PLANE….

By ATWadmin On May 26th, 2007 at 8:55 am

I was pleased to see that Islamofascist Abdullah al-Faisal, who "influenced" (ie encouraged) one of the July 7 bombers, has been deported from Britain. The Home Secretary, John Reid, welcomed the removal of the Jamaican convert to Islam, who was placed on a flight to Kingston just after midday yesterday. Mr Reid said Al-Faisal would be excluded from the UK. The Government’s official account of the 2005 London bombings said the cleric had a "strong influence "on Germaine Lindsay, who blew up a Tube train at King’s Cross, killing 26 people. I guess telling young British Muslims it was their duty to kill non-believers, urging them to adopt a "jihad mentality" is what you call "influencing", eh? He also promised schoolboys they would be rewarded with "72 virgins in paradise" if they died in a holy war. And you know how easily they can be "influenced! Getting rid of one Jihad preacher  is good – but we have many more and I’m sure we could fill a few jumbo-jets sending Pakistan back it’s quota. There can be no place in the UK for Jihadists – we either put them in prison or we send them packing.

GIVE US YOUR TEACHERS……

By ATWadmin On May 26th, 2007 at 8:37 am

AlanJohnsonMartinArgles.jpgThe competition to see who will become Deputy-Leader of the Labour Party is most certainly exposing the anti-meritocratic class envy that drives the British left. Today brings the news that Alan Johnson – the Education Secretary -  is threatening Independent schools with the "need to do more to earn their charitable status. It’s not enough just to lend their playing fields; it’s about opening up their science labs, it’s about lending their teachers to the state sector, it’s about sponsoring academies and forming trusts." Rubbish. As this Telegraph editorial says…..

Mr Johnson’s tone is worrying. We don’t just want your playing fields and science labs, he implies: we want your teachers to clean up the mess we have made of comprehensive education. And, if you don’t co-operate, then wave goodbye to charitable status and say hello to rates and corporation tax

Independent Schools should of course revoke their charitable status and remove the stranglehold that this gives Government over them. Yes, the increased taxes Government will take from them means that this will remove the bursaries that they provide to children from less well-off backgrounds –  but this is the lesser of two evils. Johnson makes it clear that Labour hates the idea of "Independent" schools – he wants to control, to coerce, to manipulate.

ATW LATER NIGHT JUKEBOX!

By ATWadmin On May 25th, 2007 at 6:47 pm

Here is a song which whilst clearly Beatle-ish is still very strong, catchy and I believe this band’s finest moment .. sing along to the chorus! Plus, having "Avenger" Partick McNee in it was inspired! This one is dedicated to those of my critics who accuse me of being "angry"..lol!
