So this is what I’m listening to when I’m driving at the moment…it’s a great song.

I see that those who run Iran have warned the leaders of the post-election protests that they are ‘worthy of execution’.

Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami, a member of the clerical leadership, used the platform of Friday prayers at Tehran University to level charges that the regimes opponents were “rioting” in defiance of God’s will. Those arrested should be punished harshly, he said, while their leaders could face the death penalty as enemies of the Islamic Republic.

We have to hope that the young people of Iran rise up and throw off the yolk of the world’s first Islamic Republic. It would be best that Khantami and the other thugs that run this lunatic theocracy end up on the end of a rope. Thanks to the wonders of technology, such as the humble Twitter, we are gaining INSIGHT into the VERY real struggle that is taking place in Iran. I am also glad to see that Obama is showing a bit more steel on this topic and his words rather shame the rest of the gutless G8.

Have you been to see Eve Ensler’s “Vagina Monologues”? I have – a few good laughts and a lot of feminazi dross. Anyway, I found this article very interesting as it suggest that Sarah Palin is Ensler’s worst nightmare!

The Ensler worldview has become a dominant part of a culture — most evident on university campuses and in trendy, upscale urban areas — that promotes spiritual transformation through gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender sex — not even relationships, just sex. In this, the world’s brutality comes from traditional relationships, which lead to the kind of abuse that Ensler has raised more than $50 million to combat. How dominant is this view? The New York Times put its cultural stamp of approval on the world according to Ensler, describing her as “brilliant,” a “messiah heralding the second wave of feminism.”

Into all of this strides Sarah Palin, who is refreshingly and wonderfully normal, appealing to the vast majority of Americans who don’t read The New York Times (303,062,059 at last count) and shake their heads in dismay at the almost endless lineup of celebrities rhapsodizing over the opportunity, like actress Glen Close, to get “2,500 people to stand and chant the word c**t.” Or who, unlike the educators bringing culture to their children, don’t think that expanding “the identity category of ‘woman'” to “male-to-female trans individuals” will bring peace on earth and goodwill toward…well, all politically sanctioned victims

Well worth the read!

No tribute here dear reader. Instead, just a tune from one of the great rock n roll albums …

Listen, forget Jacko and pay attention to this rather engaging video by one of Britain’s most idiosyncratic singers…

Here’s an insight into Britain as we slide into post-Christian moral relativism...

A 15-year-old boy has been convicted of murdering a two-year-old girl who was left in his care for 90 minutes.

Demi Leigh Mahon was beaten, bitten and had her hair sheared off during the attack which left her with 68 injuries, Manchester Crown Court heard. She was left with killer Karl McCluney while her mother went to claim a child benefit cheque in July last year.

Now, at the tender age 15 years, what do we do with such a vile creature? There will be liberals who will seek to ameliorate his behaviour but I see him as a little monster who should not be allowed to walk free from prison – ever.  How many years will he get? What will be the nature of his imprisonment? I reckon he will come to be seen to be portrayed as “a victim” and the little girl he so cruelly murdered will be forgotten.

With Jackson hysteria sweeping the world, I think that the passing of Farrah Fawcett has kinda been eclipsed. So here’s one for her…

AGW Hysteria Cooling

By ATWadmin On June 26th, 2009 at 3:18 pm

President Obama is trying to ram his “Cap and Trade” Global Warming boondoggle through Congress. Meanwhile, the fraudulent nature of the highly suspect “science” supporting AGW panic is exposed in the Wall Street Journal:

…”It turns out Al Gore and the United Nations (with an assist from the media), did a little too vociferous a job smearing anyone who disagreed with them as “deniers.” The backlash has brought the scientific debate roaring back to life in Australia, Europe, Japan and even, if less reported, the U.S….

…The number of skeptics, far from shrinking, is swelling. Oklahoma Sen. Jim Inhofe now counts more than 700 scientists who disagree with the U.N. — 13 times the number who authored the U.N.’s 2007 climate summary for policymakers. Joanne Simpson, the world’s first woman to receive a Ph.D. in meteorology, expressed relief upon her retirement last year that she was finally free to speak “frankly” of her nonbelief. Dr. Kiminori Itoh, a Japanese environmental physical chemist who contributed to a U.N. climate report, dubs man-made warming “the worst scientific scandal in history.” Norway’s Ivar Giaever, Nobel Prize winner for physics, decries it as the “new religion.” A group of 54 noted physicists, led by Princeton’s Will Happer, is demanding the American Physical Society revise its position that the science is settled. (Both Nature and Science magazines have refused to run the physicists’ open letter.)”

Making air travel so expensive that it can only be afforded by the very wealthy or our political masters is a key objective for the leftards in power and so I read that…

“Gordon Brown today sparked fears of soaring air fares by calling for a £60billion-a-year international fund to help poor nations adapt to climate change, partly funded by aviation taxes. The Prime Minister said developed countries should make the massive pot of money available to developing nations so their economies could grow even as they adapt to the changing global climate – and he committed Britain to paying its ‘fair share’. Mr Brown said some of the cash could be raised from international aviation and shipping, through taxes or by including these in carbon emissions trading markets.”

So the plan is to tax us even harder so the cash can be thrown at the banana republics that are such a source for our concerns. Thing is how we will know if things improve with them since none of us will be able to fund the flights to check ’em out? The entire climate change agenda is about power, control and taxation. The science is merely a lever to achieve this.
