On this day, 100 years ago, 16 year old Boy (1st Class) Jack Cornwell was mortally wounded while manning his gun on HMS Chester, during the Battle of Jutland. Despite his wounds he “nevertheless remained standing alone at a most exposed post, quietly awaiting orders till the end of the action”. He died on 2nd June and was posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross.

A FORMER Miss Turkey has been handed a suspended prison sentence for “sharing a poem” online, which was deemed to be insulting to the tiny-dicked, goat-fancying president, Erdogan.

First, I would.

Second, don’t for a moment think that this kind of thing would necessarily be frowned on in Brussels. Most politicians would go further than decency allows, if only they could get away with it. In Brussels they’re worse than most. It’s not impossible that the EU’s “European Values” will one day outlaw insulting the preposterous Juncker.

The Political Editor of the (pro-EU) New Statesman tweets:

I know of EU citizens who’ve received polling cards despite not being allowed to vote. Anyone else?

Guido and others are reporting similar “anomalies”, on top of last week’s cheat sheet. Cameron and the Remainiacs have turned our country into a banana republic.

THE press has been telling us for weeks that Remain has “a decisive lead” in the polls. I didn’t believe it. Like many, I don’t come across many determined Remain voters while alot of people seem to Leavers. That, and that Remain rhetoric hasn’t dropped below “stressed like mental” leads me to stand by my theory that Tory polling is not making for happy reading.

And all of sudden, the latest Guardian/ICM polls, which have favoured Remain, have the sane edging ahead:

In the phone poll of more than 1,000 adults, 45% said they favoured leaving the EU, and 42% remaining, with 13% saying they did not know. Once the “don’t knows” were excluded, that left 52% in favour of Brexit, against 48% for remain.

Using online polling, 47% said they would like to leave, and 44% remain, with 9% saying they were undecided. Excluding the latter, the result was the same as the phone method – 52-48 in favour of leaving.

We’ve had destitution, isolation, famine, plague and WW3, and the Leave campaign has only just begun talking about immigration, the red hot issue. I dread to think what Cameron will do next. His only choice seems to be drones and daisycutters.

Here’s an editorial line from the free press in Liverpool (sighs, where else. Home of the perpetually offended)

“People need to be aware of the consequences of expressing a view in any form that could give rise to offence.”

Got that? Imposed censorship 2016. Since someone somewhere is likely to take offence at an opinion sometime, this means no more opinion. Sounds fair? Here is theT-short that caused the Police to swing into action….

Is it gross? Yes. Should people be arrested for wearing offensive t-shirts? No.

In the case above, no arrest was made despite the deplorable sentiment. 66 Rangers fans died in a crush at Ibrox Stadium in 1971.

I’VE just watched two minutes of the new Top Gear on some catch up iPlayer thingy. Nope, that’s enough, the show’s dead to me. So here I am, Amazon. Take what you want. My wallet is yours.

LAST week it was reported that Bristol voters, who had requested a postal vote, also received a “how to vote by post” form within the pack. It contained this not-so-subtle image of what to do:

Yeah, just follow the instructions, peons. We’ll take care of the rest. But it was just Bristol, we were told, only Bristol Council which had sent out a clearly biased instruction leaflet. But it’s not just Bristol:

The Telegraph established on Monday that voters in Kent have received the same form as voters in Bristol, while there were reports of the forms being sent to voters in Greater Manchester, West Sussex and Hertfordshire.

So this anomoly with postal votes (them again!) is nationwide in England. That’s north-west, south-east and south-west. Multiple councils just happen to have sent out the same cheat sheet. Now I know that “sensible” people will tell me that this is just one of those things, but between a cheating, pro-EU government and a supine Electoral Commission, I don’t believe that this is just one of those things. Postal voting is notorious for electoral rigging, and this is just one way that’s so far come to light. There’s just a few weeks to go, the government side is very desperate and it really would resort to blatant cheating.

JUST one month ago the Prime Minister accused Labour’s Sadiq Khan of being chums with supporters of terror.

Today the Prime Minister hailed Labour’s Sadiq Khan as “a proud muslim” as they campaigned together on behalf of EU rule –

No wonder more and more Tory MPs are trying to stab Cameron. Can you imagine having to work with this shameless slut every day?

I have been asked why I don’t go into politics. Among the many good reasons not to is that I have a little self respect.

Bless them. One day they may even grow up!

An influential students’ group has called for prisons to be abolished because they are ‘sexist and racist’ in the latest in a series of far-Left interventions by the student movement.

Got that – Prisons must be abolished.

The National Union of Students black students’ conference (Erm, isn’t that a tad racist? DV) also voted to step up its fight against the Government’s anti-extremism agenda. The controversial votes at the conference in Bradford this weekend came after the current NUS black students’ officer, Malia Bouattia, was elected president of the union, defeating the more moderate incumbent.

She has previously argued that it is Islamophobic to oppose ISIS and described one university as a ‘Zionist outpost’ because it has a large Jewish society.

One of the motions passed at the conference on Saturday was titled ‘Prisons are Obsolete! Abolish Them Now!’, and resolved to ‘call for the abolition of the prison-industrial complex’.

To recap then. Abolish prisons. Oppose attempts to tackle Islamic indoctrination of young minds. Hate Jews.

If you want to stay ignorant, get yourself an education,

See this story?

More resources are needed to stop migrants trying to reach the UK on makeshift boats, or lives will be lost, an ex-border force inspector has said. A group of 20 people – including 18 Albanian migrants and two children – were rescued from an inflatable boat off the coast of Kent on Sunday. Two Britons are among those being held.

Now, let’s cut to the chase. These are illegal migrants who were trying to sneak into the UK. They should be turned around and sent back to Albania. This is not just an issue of resource but rather an issue of resolve. If we intercept these vessels and then bring the illegals to the UK, all we do is encourage more to come here. A policy of zero tolerance is required.
