ATW FRIDAY NIGHT JUKEBOX

By Pete Moore On November 30th, 2018 at 6:43 pm

Because Friday night is Music Night

I’m not a Tory. I’m a man of the people. I’m not a Remainer either. When the people speak, I hear them. And I hear the cry go up: “Pete, what’s good in 1960s Hungarian psychedelic rock?” Not a lot probably, is the honest answer. But there was a groovy little number out there. Oh yes people, this is real diversity, real European culture.

Have fun, whatever you’re up to this weekend. Have you seen the shops? It’s madness already. The Waitrose car park was rammed this evening. So my weekend aim is to be the only person in the country not to spend any money. Apart from on beer and my beef in black bean sauce of course. Essentials don’t count.

As always, feel free to share your fav sounds down below –

His Mad Existence

By Mahons On November 30th, 2018 at 1:32 pm

President Trump is attending the G20 Summit today in Argentina. The Argentinians are trying to keep topics and encounters soothing for him so he doesnt erupt on Twitter and mess with their IMF financing deal. Dont Cry for Me Argentina indeed. I’m sure some World leaders wish they had been more aggressive with Ukraine so they could skip being alone with him like Putin.

I am sure he’ll have some small talk with ghe Saudi Crown Prince on how to get Jim Acosta to visit Turkey. He msy even play golf with ghe Argentine President like the good old days when their families dealt in real estate together. No doubt he will mention his historic accomplishments (making Kanye West seem crazier), Rosie O’Donnell, and why Messi is a loser.

Mostly I suspect he’ll talk about how people are saying he is great, how he is persecuted, and why cant people from Argentina learn English. The carinival never ends.

Monsters walk among us

By Patrick Van Roy On November 29th, 2018 at 9:37 pm

One of the advantages I had growing up is that I knew all the dirt and darkness that surrounds us everyday that most people just don’t hear. Who gets drunk and beats their wife, who is involved in drugs, robbery, gang affiliations etc etc. You see cops never turn it off, it’s part of the baggage that comes with the badge. As hard as they try there are just somethings you can’t just block out.

The worst times we’re when a body was found. Someone local but a nobody as callous as that sounds. Someone that may not have had a good life. But they are still a human life, somebody’s daughter/son. The majority are never listed in the headlines, if your paper has a police blotter they may show up there.  Most murders are either solved in the first 48hrs or never at all. By solved I mean the cops know who did it even if they  won’t be able to get a conviction.

Here is a particularly woeful crime statistic from the Federal Bureau of Investigation: nationwide, nearly 40 percent of all homicides go unsolved each year.
www.nytimes.com/2007/10/23/opinion/23tue3.html

How many unsolved murders are there in the US?

Since 1960, about 200,000 murders in the US have gone unsolved, many are now “cold cases.”. The NY Times reported that for Detroit alone: 10,000 since 1960.
With the amount of murders left unsolved it may cause you to ask how many Samuel Little’s are there out there? This is Mr. Little his weapon of choice was his hands…..

Washington (AFP) – A 78-year-old drifter in prison in Texas has confessed to 90 murders and is being investigated as possibly the most prolific serial killer in US history.

I’ll post the rest of the story below.

The Prime Minister has flown to the G20 summit.

It’s in Argentina.

That’s the Falklands gone by the weekend.

Trouble Towers

By Mahons On November 29th, 2018 at 7:03 pm

President Trump’s former fixer and lawyer has pled guilty to lying to Congress on Trump’s behalf. In particular when Trump’s plans to build aTrump Towers ended (apparently not before the primaries).

Trump has cancelled a summit meeting with Putin at the G20, citing the Russian actions against Ukraine which suddenly seem to trouble him.

His weird pardon flirtation with former campaign manager Paul Manafort seems to show a desperation taking the place of bravado. Since Trump’s weirdness has become the norm it takes some shakeup to make folks realize that things are getting rven more weird.

What is a very stable genius to do?

NEVER TRUST THE TORIES

By Pete Moore On November 29th, 2018 at 6:54 pm

The number of people moving to the UK from outside the EU has reached its highest level for 14 years, according to official figures out today.

Some 248,000 more non-EU citizens arrived than left in the year ending in June, their highest net migration since 2004, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

That’s the immigration that the government supposedly controls. No German communists have a say in it. The British government alone sets the bar on this one. And they’ve been promising, since 2010, to get total immigration down to “the tens of thousands”. But it turns out that the Tories have been lying about it the whole time, along with everything else, because everything the Tories say, announce and promise is a total lie.

It’s a mistake to think of the Tories as a political party. It’s impossible to understand the Tories if you do that. The Tories are nothing less than the political wing of big business, crony corporates and any dodgy greaser who slips them a few quid.

They shouldn’t be governed by Electoral Commission rules. The laws on prostitution are much more appropriate.

IT’S AS IF THERE’S AN AGENDA

“IT’S JUST A TRADING BLOCK”

By Pete Moore On November 28th, 2018 at 7:30 pm

Translation: it will require ze Europäische Union to speak with a German voice. You’d think the French would have learned by now, but you have to remember the past to learn from it.

If my country is to have foreign policies then I want to be able to hire and fire the buggers who make them. At the very least they ought to pretend that they’re batting for my team. But what do I know? Apparently that’s so old hat now.

Economic Migrants Flying Home

By Patty On November 28th, 2018 at 3:35 pm

Women, children and men board a Mexican plane for the flight back to the Honduras. These economic migrants were lied to by the leaders of this hoax and the fake media continues to lie about who the migrants are, what they want and what they need.

Note that the migrants are not well-dressed, but they are dressed.  And it’s interesting to note that their luggage – while not posh –  looks decent, complete with pink back-pack for the kids.

WTO RULES: “NO NEED FOR HARD BORDER”

By Pete Moore On November 27th, 2018 at 8:41 pm

It’s always been as plain as day that the issue of a hard border was blown up from nothing into an impassable chain of mountainous obstacles. London won’t impose a hard border, Dublin won’t do it, nor will Brussels. And even the WTO says that there is nothing in its rulebook that would require one.

Remember, it’s this issue which No.10 and Brussels have concocted to keep us in a customs union, thereby crushing the global Britain agenda. It’s this issue, and the threat of a backstop, which the EU will use forever to keep us from being a sovereign, independent and self-governing people.

It always was a con.
