Just Popping Out

By ATWadmin On August 27th, 2009

THERE be dragons here. A Bank Holiday weekend has been made a touch longer by me; tomorrow capitalism will have to save itself while I go for a stroll in the country. So it’s way out west I go, past even Offa’s Dyke (memo to self: pack more ammo) and onto The Unpronounceables.

Have fun, whatever you’re doing.

  1. Superb photo. Where is that?

  2. Afghanistan ?

  3. Noel Cunningham –

That’s (strewth I just tried pronouncing it and gobbed all over the keyboard) … in Wales.

Llan-y-Fan Fach is the lake or mountain, can’t quite remember which. It’s in the Brecon Beacons.

Quite a stroll getting there, but I’ve been stuck in the office for a couple of weeks and need to stretch my legs.

  4. What a coincidence. I am of to Wales this weekend. Basing in Cardiff but then going out to some places with Castles. All being organised by some friends. Won’t be going as afr as the Brecon Beacons though.

  5. Siwrne dda!

  6. Keyboard playing up again Phantom ?

  7. I am a master of the Welsh language. I will translate Troll’s proverbs into Welsh and together we will corner the Welsh market.

  8. I always thought most of Troll’s comments appeared in Welsh anyway 🙂

  9. Phantom –

Many thanks, and dydd da to you too.

    Colm –

I’ll be staying on the Gower Peninsular, in a cottage near a pub. What more does a man need?

It’s getting all pobol y cwm in here.

  10. What more does a man need ?

    A comely Welsh maiden .

  11. Cardiff Gate Services, Junction 30 on the M4. I’ll pick one up on the way …

  12. I believe there is a BOGOF offer for the Bank holiday weekend 😉

We stayed in Swansea two years ago and spent a couple of days on the Gower. Enjoy.

By coincidence, I have just been looking at Snowdonia for an October break. Fly to Liverpool, one night in Chester, two in Snowdonia and last night in Ludlow. Let’s hope.
