IRAN BACKS THE DEMOCRATS VICTORY…

By ATWadmin On November 10th, 2006

Nuclear_fireball.jpgHow interesting! Iran’s Supreme Leader Head Mullah Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Fridayhas  called U.S. President George W. Bush’s defeat in congressional elections "a victory for Iran".

Bush has accused Iran of trying to make a nuclear bomb, being a state sponsor of terrorism and stoking sectarian conflict in Iraq, all charges Tehran denies."This issue (the elections) is not a purely domestic issue for America, but it is the defeat of Bush’s hawkish policies in the world," Khamenei said in remarks reported by Iran’s student news agency ISNA on Friday.

So the head of the most despotic regime in the Middle East congratulates the US electorate on making the right decision. Get the impression that Khamenei now sees all impediments removed from Iran’s road to create the second Holocaust?

  1. David: They’ll do and say anything to embarrass the sitting administration, Republican or Democratic.

Its been a bad week for you, but to raise the spectre of a 2nd holocaust is just sour grapes.
The truth is now we have the Democrats in power there is 100% more chance of dialogue, with Iran and the UN.
Perhaps involving the whole region in how to solve Iraq, and possibly Palestine.
One things is for sure, there won’t be another 3000 dead US soldiers, or 1/2 million Iranians dead, or $US 3 billion a week being wasted in an unachievable objective.
Did you know that 600,000 trained Iraqi doctors, nurses, teachers have fled Iraq, and its estimated the brain drain will take a generation to replace.
And still the Christo-fascists feel no shame!

  3. Sir Percy: I am not sure what dialogue with the U.N. is going to accomplish, and even the Democrats see that. Direct talks with Iran may be more helpful, especially if they involve constructive contribution from Russia and China. Without that, there is no incentive for Iran.

  4. One, Iran is not in the same "region" as is Israel.

And two, dialogue with this govt is pretty useless. You may recall that relations with Iran reached their nadir under the administration of the feckless Jimmy Carter, a Democrat, and they did not get much better under the eight years of President Clinton.

  5. Bush hates the Iranian regime and the feeling is mutual. You can’t blame them for gloating at his defeat.

    Ditto Syria.

  6. Remember it was Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carters "dialogue" with N Korea that gave them the bomb…

And it was Bill Clinton who gave Yasser Arafat everything he wanted including half of Jeruesalem and his response was the intifada

Now and there may not be 3000 more Americans dead but there are liable to be a few million dead jews from an iranian nuke or better yet his missils with in the next 2 years should be able to reach London it won’t last as long as it did when the Germans bombed but alot more will be dead….

Just remind us Troll, when did they get their bomb?

Was it in (a) 2000 (Clinnton’s last year in office) or
    (b) 2006 (Bush’s sixth year in office)?

    LOL!

  8. They’ve steadily obtained technology and done the research and broken all agreements through the entire period

  9. Scare-mongering, waste of time

  10. In fairness to the Democrats, I suspect that if the Republicans had won Iran would be claiming that that was the result they desired.

Carter and Clinton gave them the yranium and the reactor but that don’t count you guys are the type of people that led to world war 2

David between Percy, Mahons, Peter, and some of the others who have been posting here lately I can see why Britain is being overrun by jihadi and Irish terrorists sit in your parliment. It is a shame that people want to blame all the worlds woes on the US but such is the mantality of the dhimmi.

Since 1979 Iran has led, financed, trained, and exported terror through out the world. They have reapeaditly stated publicly over and over that there desire is the destruction of the west and the creation of the world wide caliphate… Yet it is the US to blame for Islamic terrorism.

Iran is currently being fronted by a man who has openly said that he wants to bring about the return of the 12th Imam and that the only way that that can come about is by the spilling of the blood of millions, and he is activly working on the development of a nuclear bomb. Yet the US is fearmongering…

Arabs self destructed in your subways but that was the fault of you being in Iraq with us.

9/11 happened before we went to Iraq but that was really the CIA and the Massad so we could go to Iraq and take it’s oil….

when your children are lying dead at your feat at the hands of an Islamic Fanatic who will be to blame the US or you for your blind stupidity and refusal to see the wolf at your door….

  12. "Irish terrorists sit in your parliment"

I have never heard the SDLP called that before 😉

  13. ”Iran is currently being fronted by a man who has openly said that he wants to bring about the return of the 12th Imam”

Sounds suspiciously similar to the widespread US notion that a final conflict in the middle east will bring about the second coming of Christ, based on a dream that some bloke had in a cave about 2000 years ago. Do remind me folks — which is the most intelligent animal on the planet?

You’re blaming Carter (!) and Clinton for NK getting the bomb. Last time I looked they were both presidents of the USA.

  15. Troll you ignorant slut.

    (my apologies to Chevy Chase)

I am an American, you nattering nabob of negatism. An American who doesn’t mistake the nation for the President, who doesn’t believe that we must live in a one party state, who doesn’t lash out in blind inbred trailer-park fury at anyone who thinks that this country stands for more than fearmongering.

I bow to no man in my love of my country. Nothing is more American than questioning authority and holding the government accountable. You’ve been so lost in a right-wing circle jerk that you can no longer recognize that the greatness of the nation is in its striving to be a place of toleration for differnt views, religions, and races.

By the way, The Eagles suck.

  16. Way to go Mahons

Troll makes me laugh with his caricature Righteous certainties. Such blind fiery devotion to his ‘truth’ can be admirable but also ridiculous.

  17. Colm: Thanks. The poor guy is straight out of central casting. He could have replaced Jack Black in the Bob Roberts movie. I am off for now (what am I doing at my desk on a beautiful Saturday?).
