Mama Grizzlies rising up….

  1. Well they better not stay up too long. They need to get back home make the tea and lie down again for their hubbies, like all good Conservative women 🙂

  2. GGRRRRRRRR!!!!! 🙂

  3. Patty

Growling doesn’t suit you. The original one and only Grizzly Mama can let out a proper GGRRRRRRR!!!!. You’re best suited to purring softly like a kitten… 😉

  4. It becomes more and more obvious that Palin will declare she is running, just as soon as it is expedient to do so. And there will be a wave of support from the right which could give her decisive momentum in the race to win the GOP nomination.

  5. If she gets the nomination, or even comes close, Obama’s in like Flynn. Bet the ranch on it.

  6. Peter: I think what you see is what you get with Palin. She’s not that complicated. She fights for America, and she will do whatever she thinks will work to promote small government, fiscal sanity, and individual rights and freedom.

Remember, she has a son in the military. As a mother, she does what she can to ensure that her son has a free America to come home to. If running for Pres. advances the cause, then Palin will do it. If not, she won’t run. She’ll do something else.

    Colm: Prrrrrrrr……..scratch, scratch eyes out………prrrrrrrrrrr.

  7. She may oppose the lunatic spending under Obama, but her record as governor of supporting pork barrel spending, including her well documented support of the Bridge to Nowhere, one of the worst public policy proposals ever made, indicates that she absolutely is not a small government anything.

McCain opposed wasteful spending for all of his political career. Palin supported wasteful spending for all of her political career.

Palin was for the Bridge to Nowhere before she was against it.

The Alaska governor campaigned in 2006 on a build-the-bridge platform, telling Ketchikan residents she felt their pain when politicians called them "nowhere." They’re still feeling pain today in Ketchikan, over Palin’s subsequent decision to use the bridge funds for other projects — and over the timing of her announcement, which they say came in a pre-dawn press release that seemed aimed at national news deadlines.

  8. LOL Sarah is all about Sarah. Sarah don’t give a hoot about america or spending or anything else

  9. Colm

You are such a smooth talker!

  10. The vanity of people who have achieved almost nothing ‘writing’ books is something else. Not the behavior of a humble person.

Obama is incredibly vain but at least Dreams from my Father is well written and written by Obama.

  11. I enjoyed the Palin book.

  12. Gotta love Sarah ( and i do!).

But i hate that whole sexist angle. I’m sure Men have concerns about the current situation as well?
This whole ‘all girls together’ thing really get’s on my wick (sorry Patty that’s a Northern Irishism for ‘irritates me a lot’).

  13. Patty

Love the post categorisation heading…. 🙂

  14. I find that Palin certainly has much appeal, however I wonder if she is the right material for a Presidential candidate? Like Ann Coulter, I think Palin’s strength may lie in being a political commentater rather than a political candidate. She’s a good figurehead, she rouses people’s feelings, but I think she lacks that sense of solemn seriousness which a President should also possess.
However, this opinion is stated from a "UK" viewpoint, and I realise it may not hold true for the US electorate.

  15. Imagine, one of the signs a woman is holding reads: "Annoy liberals – work hard and pay your own bills"!

  16. Hey – they made T-shirts just for me that say ‘Mama Grizzly’!!

I’m with you, Tom Tyler. I ADORE Sarah Palin, but I think she is great doing just what she’s doing for now. Although I do believe that she would make a better President than many who have gone for (and gotten) the job.

I don’t consider this a sexist angle. Perhaps it’s being portrayed that way. The way I see it is that Mamas of the world have concerns, too. We are not ‘feminazis’ although we consider ourselves feminists choosing to be wives and mothers. We’re educated, we pay attention, we’re strong and conservative, we’re devoted to our families, we have a say, and what happens in our country affects our most precious cargo – our kiddies. That’s some of what Sarah Palin respresents in this country.

The lefties hate us – mostly because we don’t toe the liberal line on ‘choice’, marriage and our children’s upbringing. To them, that seems oppressive – they can’t understand it and therefore despise us.

  17. "The lefties hate us – mostly because we don’t toe the liberal line on ‘choice’, marriage and our children’s upbringing. To them, that seems oppressive – they can’t understand it and therefore despise us."

Um, you won’t find that many that many more pro-life, pro-marriage or, in fact, pro-family people on this site than me and I’m pretty sure that I would fall under the "lefties" banner.

  18. A slick video of vapidness.

At 17 seconds, you see an older lady in a motorized wheelchair. Which was probably paid for via Medicaid or Medicare. The Palinites are truly the Gang That Couldn’t Shoot Straight.

Do they or do they not support such government spending?

  19. "Obama is incredibly vain but at least Dreams from my Father is well written and written by Obama.

As usual, you are utterly wrong. It was ghost written by Bill Ayers.

  20. I am fully supportive of Palin winning the GOP nomination for 2012.

Sarah Palin- Presidential candidate for the GOP, 2012!

No other GOP candidate can come close. Support Sarah Palin for the GOP nomination, 2012. I will join any campaign and contribute any amount of money to make this happen.

  21. P.S. Aren’t grizzlies on the endangered species list? Partly because of hunters? Hmm the fun that could be had with that!! And conservative women like being compared to elephants? Jon Stewart could have a field day with this.

Sarah- this is an excellent start to your campaign. Sarah Palin GOP Presidential Nominee 2012.

  22. You never disappoint, Pinky. 😉

  23. I think I will write a wee note to Sarah Palin’s campaign to ask them how they feel about all major US and world corporations/governments respecting and adhering to Shari’a business regulations.

Likewise Patty- you never disappoint as one who claims to have an MBA not knowing or understanding international laws and businesses. It is so funny how you expose yourself through your ignorance- while being so ignorant that you don’t even know you are exposing yourself. It is hilarious.

Sarah Palin for GOP Presidential Nominee 2012.
    Where can I contribute?

  24. Write a wee note on your hand, Pinky, and ask yourself what you think about women being buried up to their necks and then stoned to death. Shame on you. And shame on Obama.
