When the Conservative Mask slips.

When did the UK last have a Conservative Government?

I would argue from 1987 to 1990 and it ended when the Premiership of Margaret Thatcher ended. Thereafter we had the depressing gruel of the John Major zombie administration ending in historical defeat in 1997 at the hands of globalist Tony Blair. Fast track to a “return” of the Conservatives in the guise of the “heir to Blair” David Cameron, the chaos of the Theresa May interval, and then the Boris Johnson years from 2019.

What did these “Conservatives” do for us?

Firstly, they did everything possible to dilute the impact of Brexit which they never really wanted in the first place. Johnson got into Downing Street claiming he would get Brexit done but he left Northern Ireland in the Single Market and put a border up the Irish Sea.

Even worse, under Johnson, we were put under national house arrest, told to wear masks and take an experimental gene therapy. When his ludicrous regime came tumbling down earlier this year we were then subjected to the Liz Truss comedy hour before Rishi Sunak was imposed upon us.

Now personal taxes and business taxes are on the rise, inflation is roaring, immigration is out of control, the economy is in recession – THIS is what 12 years of “Conservative” rule has delivered. It’s unbearable and it will come to an end in 2024 when the current “Conservative” Government suffers a tremendous defeat.

It’s the very fear of that which explains so many current Conservative MP’s saying they will not stand again. They know they will lose their seats. I am not saying that Labour is any more worthy than the Conservatives, they are not, but the truth of the matter is that the change of the guards is coming and nothing can stop it. Responsibility lies with those who have sat on their hands in Parliament for so long and ignored the needs of the British people!

The betrayal of conservative values by the current regime is manifest in big things as well as small things. National debt went through the roof as the cost of the furlough scheme and working from home hit home. This was compounded by huge sums lavished on unwanted PPE and the rest. The Johnson/Sunak regime spent cash like it was going out of fashion – this led the inflation fuse and we all pay the price. But even at a smaller level, this lot have been selling us out. Take the topic of wolf whistling – this is now being turned into a crime with a custodial sentence! How unconservative can you get? It may be vulgar and uncouth but is it really a matter of priority for the Courts?

On every front, all vestiges of authentic Conservatism have been extinguished from this administration and in due course it too will be extinguished at the polls. Even worse, I think that’s what it wants. Life in opposition is still lucrative and no real responsibility. Always remember that regardless of who is in power it is the Uniparty that governs.
