Conan Doyle vindicated
By Mike Cunningham On June 1st, 2011As a blogging colleague of ours would state:-
As this occurrence was literally a ‘first’, both in terms of the magnitude of the earthquake, the size and velocity of the tsunami, the engineering and preparedeness excellence usually shown by Japan, and the fact that few if any had ever considered that the emergency power facilities were vulnerable to an event of unimaginable fury, why didn’t the UN IAEAgency just state that Japan had things as ready as any, and more than most, and leave it like that?

The Japanese have shown themselves to be courageous,
hardworking
and resourceful.
No moaning,
No begging for help.
They have behaved with great dignity.
