The Leaders of the Western World are provoking a War that could very easily go Nuclear, and it is the West that is provoking it.
The United States, and NATO are dragging us into full scale war with Russia in spite of the fact that neither NATO nor the U.S. is under threat from Russia. Ukraine is not a member of NATO yet NATO and the United States are acting as if it is. The whole point of NATO was to prevent going to war with the former Soviet Union and then Russia. What we are witnessing is NATO and the U.S. provoking war with Russia over a non-allied Nation.
No Nation should ever invade another Nation except in Self Defense. Ukraine was no threat to Russia. Ukraine had elected a Pro-Russian Government. A Government that was corrupt, but none the less fairly elected by all counts it was just aligned with the Russian Government. That was unacceptable to the West.
President Obama through Sen. John McCain and the E.U. through Victoria Nuland helped sow dissent and flip that Government. They interfered in a foreign Nation that was not part of the EU or NATO to get a government that favored the West against Russia. Now the Ukraine is a threat to Russia, it sit’s on land and resources the Russians need and formally had access to. First response from the Russians was to take Crimea. Now they are taking the other regions of Ukraine they feel Russia needs. The land and resources they had access to until the West’s interference are now being conquered and claimed.
When Yanukovych rejected the European Union’s terms for an association agreement in late 2013, in favor of a Russian offer, angry demonstrators filled Kiev’s Independence Square, known as the Maidan, as well as sites in other cities. Western leaders made it clear that they supported the efforts of demonstrators to force Yanukovych to reverse course and approve the EU agreement or, if he would not do so, to remove the president before his term expired.
It is horrible that Russia has used it’s military might to achieve these goals, but except for humanitarian aid whose obligation comes only out of the goodness and largesse of our society we should not be sending money and arms. We have no obligation to shed our wealth and blood for Ukraine. We are doing so because this is a situation the west created. When President Biden was Vice President he was heavily involved with setting up American Aide and Investment in Ukraine after the flip. He now has a vested interest in defending those investments.
We are shedding both money and arms to do just that, the U.S. and NATO have been propping up the Government of Ukraine since day one. We have given hundreds of Billions in both money and Arms.
Weapon systems sent to Ukraine, such as the M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) or M270 Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) are just a few of what has been delivered.
Add the fact those arms, the arms sent by the E.U. and NATO all come with advisors and technicians. American, British, French, German advisors and technicians. How many have already died that they have not told us about?
Now we are escalating the War by sending in Armored assets. Tanks… Tanks from the U.S. and multiple NATO Nations, tanks designed to combat the Russian Military. Who is going to be driving and fighting in these tanks? There is no Ukrainian Army. At the beginning of the war they had less than 200,000 troops. That was year ago. It has since been decimated along with the Ukrainian economy and infrastructure. None of those things exist without western money, arms, and aid.
Sending in NATO and American Armor forces Russia to respond with it’s own advanced equipment and tactics. This is the West’s escalation of Heavy Armor into a battlefield that other than the fact that we helped break it, we have no justifiable reason to be there. This will cause more death and destruction to be visited upon Ukraine, while at the same time it puts all of our lives in jeopardy.
Russia possesses not just the might of the former U.S.S.R., but has been consistently advancing that weaponry for the past 20yrs. Everything from Cyber, Electronic, and Nuclear weapons systems. The Russians have repeatedly stated they will deploy and use these weapons against us if we escalate.
KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — The speaker of the lower house of Russia’s parliament warned Sunday that countries supplying Ukraine with more powerful weapons risked their own destruction, a message that followed new pledges of armored vehicles, air defense systems and other equipment but not the battle tanks Kyiv requested. “Supplies of offensive weapons to the Kyiv regime would lead to a global catastrophe,” he said. “If Washington and NATO supply weapons that would be used for striking peaceful cities and making attempts to seize our territory as they threaten to do, it would trigger a retaliation with more powerful weapons.”
That was this week, it’s not the first warning, this was 8 months ago.
Russia has warned of the “real” threat of World War III breaking out, ahead of a Tuesday meeting between the United States and allies over sending further arms to war-torn Ukraine.
Apparently our leaders do not take the Russian’s seriously, this is where we stand today.
Three NATO members will each provide armed and armoured mobility to Ukraine, with a US battalion-level training package also due to begin soon. The decision by the US, French, and German governments to supply the Bradley infantry fighting vehicle (IFV), AMX 10RC wheel armoured reconnaissance vehicle, and Marder IFV respectively to Ukraine point towards Kyiv’s war against Russia moving towards a new phase in the first half of 2023, with a greater emphasis on mobile protected firepower.

U.S. officials confirm that the Biden administration is leaning toward sending M1A1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine and that a decision could be announced as early as this week. Last week, those 12 countries agreed to supply Ukraine with around 100 Leopard 2 tanks once the German government gives its consent, a senior Ukrainian official told ABC News.
As the West is still suffering the self inflicted economic and varied other societal damages from our reaction to the Covid disaster our leaders are provoking World War with Russia over a Nation that we have no obligation to die for.
Putin is a Dictator, Thug, Murderer, and 100 other things including just down right evil. The Ukrainian people are suffering. It is however not our obligation to die for them.
