EXTENDING FAILURE…

By ATWadmin On August 27th, 2007

earyh.jpgGive that the Kyoto protocol on climate change has proven to be a complete failure and that even if it had been embraced by every nation on this planet, it would still have made a statistically insignificant impact on the degree of change, can someone explain why delegates from more than 150 countries are meeting in Vienna to discuss ways to widen and extend the United Nations Kyoto protocol on climate change? Might it be that the UN sees this as a convenient way to grab power away from Nation States and to advance its own political climate change of internationalism?  I was also wondering how are all these delegates and their entourages actually getting to Vienna? They are a bunch of hypocrites who just jump on whatever is the latest prevailing bandwagon. The idea that as corrupt an organisation as the UN could do anything about climate change is just so much hot air. It could, however, increase taxation around the globe, limit our freedom to move around the globe, and damage economies around the globe. It’s not Earth we should fear  but the United Nations!

  1. The brazen hypocracy of the UN gets my goat. We are constantly told of the hazards of CO2 and yet the UN calls a meeting of 150 countries in Vienna to discuss a wider and extended Kyoto Protocol even though the targets of the original Kyoto Protocol have not and cannot be achieved. Of course, it is all a house of cards, a charade.
