MODERN BRITAIN…

By David Vance On May 18th, 2012

This is the sort of country that we have become;

A thief stole the handbag of a hit-and-run victim as her decapitated body lay in the road, a court heard yesterday. Marc Kirvin, 46, picked up the bag, which contained £1,600 in cash, minutes after grandmother Sawari Ashraf, 62, was hit by a lorry. The impact propelled Mrs Ashraf’s bag 400ft from her body and Kirvin claimed he did not know an accident had occurred. He told police he was looking for work that day and had taken the money ‘because of greed’. His arrest came after CCTV pictures were published of the theft – during which he also took the dead woman’s shoes – on March 29 in Longsight, Manchester. The grisly nature of the incident also led to ghoulish onlookers taking sick pictures of the scene and posting them on the internet.

A woman is killed in a most horrendous way and someone sees this as a chance for THEFT? Others see it as a chance for a PHOTOGRAPH? God forgive them all.

  1. Sick, sick, sick.
    No doubt some tax funded social worker or criminal psychologist will come forward and say,
    “We must avoid being judgmental. We need to understand what brought Mark so low that this was the only way he could make others hear his cry for help….”

  2. It is common on ATW for David to draw attention to the ethnicity of criminals and victims but for some reason he chose not do do so in this case.

    Thank good im not british.

  4. No, – this is how sick we have become

    “Chow Hok Kuen, 28, a British citizen born in Hong Kong, was arrested in Bangkok with six corpses (two pictured above) that had a number of religious threads and tattoos on them. It is thought he was trying to smuggle the corpses into Taiwan. The foetuses had been surgically removed from the womb and undergone a ceremonial ritual, roasted dry and painted with gold leaf.’
