GOVE: GIVE KORANS TO SCHOOLS

By Pete Moore On May 25th, 2012

UK Enrichment News!

Every school in England could be sent free copies of the Koran, Michael Gove has said. The Education secretary said it would be “fantastic” if a rich benefactor would support sending out copies of the Islamic holy text to schools.

Hey Tories, I’d be much obliged if you can do something useful before the next election, like shooting yourselves in the head.

  1. Give the koran to schools and let everybody see what’s in it, especially the fate of those called ‘kufr’: that’s us btw. Just for balance, give schools the talmud and let everybody see what’s in it, especially the treatment of those called ‘goyim’: that’s us too btw.

  2. This could fall afoul of the British Hate Speech laws, surely.

  3. No more so than other religious texts. There is currently a plan for the distribution of King James versions of the bible to British schools using private money. There is plenty of violence, hatred and threats of violence in the Old Testament. If private money can distribute the KJV to schools then I don’t see why private money can’t do the same for the Koran.

  4. See, that’s what happens when one gives out one Book of Woo. Now the muzzies want their very own Book of Woo.

High time for a truly secular society.

    Good observations there, Allan.

  5. “There is currently a plan for the distribution of King James versions of the bible to British schools using private money.”

Yes, quite right too. We’re a Christian people, on our Christian land, of Christian stock.

Gove, being a snivelling, spineless Cultural Marxist, can’t leave it there. This koran nonsense is to even it up in case (the horror!) he’s accused of bias against islam.

  6. I have no problem with the Koran being in a school library, but why highlight it as is beign done in this case.

  7. Your Conservatives are more dangerous than our Democrats.

  8. on our Christian land

Really, land had religious belief, what nonsense.

  9. Phantom –

In general, the Conservative Party is to the left of the Democrats.

  10. Is this a joke!? …. I give up.

  11. Let’s take all religion out of the public sphere.

  12. I have no problem with the Koran being in a school library…

Neither do I but I recall reading of an incident in a library where the koran was not placed on a shelf above The Bible and the muslim complainants insisted that it should be.

It’s really quite simple: either religions are exposed taught for what they are and especially for how they view non-adherents, or not at all. Adherents of islam and talmudic judaism would surely prefer the latter for reasons obvious to anybody who knows what’s in their holy books.

  13. Yeah, but Allan there’s more than one interpretation. Not everyone agrees with your negative reading.
