  1. Troll -

Did you notice how pumped up and full of hope the crowd was for Obama’s speech at the beginning? Bunch of suckers, eh? Talk about being lured in and conned outright by a know-nothing snake oil merchant who hasn’t the slightest intention of changing anything.

So what’s Rombama Romney gonna do?

He thinks the Federal Reserve “is doing a great job” (but then Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Bank of America et al are his largest campaign contributors). He recently criticised Ron Paul’s policy of reducing spending by a trillion in year one. In fact he did so from an explicitly Keynesian angle, claiming that reducing government spending would be to shrink the economy.

He intends to spend more on the military and advance the wars further, and he has no intention of touching welfare or social security.

So what – practically – will Romney do? What are his specific policies?

  2. Come on Pete, you know just being the anti_Obama spewing talking head is enough

  3. And just to stir the pot

  4. I will break a rule and agree with the pimple, just being NOT Obama will be enough.

The real question is who controls the house and the senate, and not just left or right but which factions of left and right.

The power lies with congress, the President would have not been able to accomplish anything if the Loon faction of the left had not seized control of both houses in o6, they set the stage for his debacles and he allowed them free reign in his first 2yrs

  5. The power lies with congress…

No – the power lies with those who OWN Congress. Now, for anyone who is interested in seeing who bribes lobbies the Honorable Members of the House, work your way through the link provided above. Congress is not elected: it is bought.

  8. Congress is still elected, instant disclosure is the best thing for knowing who is giving money to whom, but as the Obama administration did in the last month the danger of having marxists in power that information can be used to destroy a free people.

The Obama campaign posted a list of Private citizens that donated to Romney with the express purpose of damaging those peoples business. It worked every person on that list had their companies attacked and lost clients and revenue.

    It’s a dangerous thin line

  9. For anyone who doubts the scale of corruption in Congress, here are the figures for 2012 so far, and just look at who comes first – it’s Mitt Romney!! Hi-fives all-round

  10. Romney is not in the congress and never was in it.

But the point is still valid. The system is filled with money corruption, incl from corporations and unions, and that is harnful to the country

  11. Romney is not in the congress and never was in it.

My error to have stated Congress – he is ‘Governor’ Mitt Romney but he got that money nonetheless. So Phantom, are you going to ask the politicians to give up that money?
