Palestinian Puppet Show Teaches Kids: Replace Cigarettes With Machine Guns

Watch the video below. The full transcript can be seen here:

A Palestinian NGO [non-governmental organization], the Burj Luq-Luq Social Center Society organization, performed a puppet show for children in East Jerusalem to promote non-smoking. The educational message delivered by the puppets instructed children to replace cigarettes with machine guns:

Puppet: “I, and many other youth like me, think that cigarettes will help us to grow, to turn into men. Jerusalem doesn’t need men who hold cigarettes. It needs men who hold machine guns, not cigarettes.”

In addition to teaching children not to smoke, the puppet show glorified death and violence and educated children to see Jews as “enemies” who kill the Palestinian youth of Jerusalem:

Puppet: “I wanted to stand before the audience and sing to Jerusalem, which is being kept from us. Jerusalem, whose youth are being killed by the Jews, to sing and to say:

Jerusalem, we are coming, Jerusalem, the time of death has arrived.
Jerusalem, we will not surrender to the enemies or be humiliated.”

  1. Hmmm… It’s very unlikely that the corporate media would report on anything similar in Israel, but here’s a video piece of Jesus being mocked by a very attractive, blonde Israeli woman – never seen in corporate media:

  2. so that equates to you as the same thing as teaching kids to not smoke kill a jew instead?

and I don’t believe the cutesy pie was paid by the UN, as the puppet show creators were

  3. I wonder if there’s a suicide bomber muppet on that show ;)

  4. :)

  5. it is sad that there is a significant element of the Palestinian population that invokes these type of programs, especailly involving kids. I am not certain it is being paid for by the UN or UNICEF (certainly not knowingly) and would need to see more information about that to beleive it.

  6. follow the link and do the research, it’s not hard Mahons.

Oh I see Burger King now is offering a bacon sundae, I wonder if they’ll be “allowed” to sell it in NY. I read His health panel wants to ban the big bucket of popcorn at the movies…lol

  7. I did read the link (despite misgivings of the source) and eve nthere it doesn’t directly clai mthe UN or UNICEF paid for the particular program (rather that they are among organizations who supported the organization).

As for the reference to Mayor Bloomberg the best line yet belongs to Fran Leibowitz who said that like other Jewish men of his generation he thought he would be a failure if he wasn’t a doctor, and now he is trying to be a doctor.

    A bacon sundae? Vomit.

  8. It’s awful. You’d think the Israelis had done something awful to the Palestinians of East Jerusalem,

when all they have done is annex the Palestinian city, impose Israeli law on the people while denying them citizenship, granting them immigrant status in the place they and their ancestors have been living for centuries, expropriating 30% of the Palestinian area for settlement of strangers who can be any religion as long as it is Jewish, in a blatantly sectarian attempt to turn the ethnic composition of the city’s population.
The Palestinians are obliged to pay city and state taxes to their Israeli overlords, and in return their areas are totally neglected and they get less than half the amount of education and welfare support per capita that the Jewish population gets. Part of the budget given back to the Palestinians is used – and this is a rather typical Isreali twist – to demolish Palestinian homes. It is practically impossible for Palestinians to build a house there, and many families are forced to live in shacks beside their demolished homes. With neglect, increasing Israeli settlements even within Palestinian districts – heavily armed of course – , unemployment, a rate of poverty three times that of the Israeli average, the situation of Palestinians even in their part of the city is drastic indeed.

Of course if this were Americans or English people, they would just take it and nobody would be so disgusting as to suggest they fight back using – gasp – guns.

  9. Jerusalem is a Palestinian city?

you better go back and read your bible, or might I suggest a talk with your wifes priest.

or even a history book on Jerusalem, lets see Mohammed was born what 500 years after Christ was crucified, the Romans occupied “Jewish” Jerusalem 200 years before that and that was only the last period of the Jewish city of Jerusalem to be occupied by the Romans and a horde of others.

It’s amazing how all throughout history Jerusalem is referred to as a Jewish city until a child molester starts a religion of death and then half the city belongs to them. Hmmph go figure

  10. so mahons do you take your kids to puppet shows where they recommend machine guns over cigarettes?

My kids have been shooting guns since they were 8 and I never took them to a puppet show that recommended killing jews as a replacement for cigarettes and a sign of adult hood.

By your comment it sounds like your endorsing the puppet show

  11. Troll, you should know better than to expend ammunition…

  12. Funny, earlier today Seamus and I were discussing the pros and cons of indoctrinating children.

It’s never an edifying sight, no matter which culture engages in it.

  13. you and seamus?

    lmao…

  14. I know how to reload

  15. lol

troll, what are you packing? you have a long arm at home and a sidearm on you?

fond of a 9 mil Mauser myself ;)

  16. Bond Derringer is the gun I carry, I have several choices but I like both the compactness, and the stopping power, I keep it loaded with a 45LC and and .410ga

  17. “I know how to reload”

Perhaps, but on this site it’s handier if you know how to read, and that’s a skill you obviously haven’t mastered yet, as you showed once again in our comment at 7:12.

  18. first off Noel the less of your comments I read the better off I am, second those remarks are meant for Mahons. Not you.

But if you insist… what is your complaint

  19. ah excuse me I read your comment as Mahons, my apologies to Mahons, and the comments are then directed to you except of course the going to talk to your wife’s priest….

  20. Come on Noel explain when half of Jerusalem became a Palestinian city.

  21. whats the Matter Noel not interested in making a case other than your propaganda points?

Come on Jerusalem existed long before chester the molester Mohammed created his cult of death. When did half the city become the property of Arabs, let alone those that call themselves Palestinians the majority of which who are refugees and the descendents of refugees out of Jordan.

  22. Troll – the Jews who have ‘returned’ to Jerusalem have no link to those who were there 2,000 years ago. These new-jews claim the right to Jerusalem and Israel through an ideological link which, logically taken, gives Christians an equal claim – though equally absurd.

  23. keep telling yourself that Alan, and on what grounds do Jordanian refugees have to it? Jerusalem was NEVER a city that consisted of Just Arab even when it was conquered by them, there have always been jews in Jerusalem.

What you call these “returned” Jews have a more direct claim than a race of people who through most of history were Bedouins, and whose modern history has them being driven from Arab and Persian countries.

  24. No problem Troll, I figured you misread them. Punch and Judy didn’t have AK47s in my day.

  25. mine neither
