A COMMERCIAL BREAK…
By David Vance On June 13th, 2012Right folks, well even veteran bloggers need a break and I’m off to la belle France tomorrow morning. As you may suspect, a certain newly elected President is seeking my views on how to get his country going the right way
So, my posts will be few and far between but I will try and do what is possible! Naturally I hope you will all entertain yourselves in my absence, I will keep an eye on comments to make sure nothing inappropriate is posted on the site. I have packed my beret, my striped t-shirt and of course a garlic necklace, as I love tradition. Try and be nice to each other and remember WWDD. (What would David do) Once you have worked that out, do the opposite – that way all will be fine. Speak soon….

David -
Nice one, have a good trip.
Tally ho…I hope you embrace the furutuutuutreereiuuttre.
ps, did you oil your chain?
I dont remember approving this so-called trip.
you apologists have selective memories as we have witnessed…
why would anyone go to France?
to get rid of Euros…
lol
“why would anyone go to France?”
To pay homage to those who won you your revolution?!
Troll, you’re such a hick you even have me defending France. Get some passports man, wrap the family tooth, pack a bag and go somewhere. Please, just go abroad somewhere.
Really, go to France, try it, you’d love it. Give your girls a present. Be adventurous, go beyond the porch.
Vance in France – to claim Calais back for the British Crown I presume.
France is a pleasant place. A coworker has just returned from a honeymoon spent in Paris and places in the south. They had the most wonderful time, walking around, in restaurants, upon exiting a train in a small town, only to find no taxis, only a local who spoke no Anglais and who drove them to the hotel in her micro car, a large suitcase positioned on the drivers lap with the door open ( no other way ) , and then refusing payment, all communication based basically on hand gestures.
Travel doesn’t always broaden the mind, but it gives understanding a fighting chance.
Good one, David. Have a great vaca.
get rid of those euros…quick!
Have a great time David.
