The French Government announces that from 2024, French citizens seeking to watch pornography will have to prove their age (how?) and then be provided with a certificate and code to proceed. The aim of this, to stop young people accessing porn, seems laudable but might there also be a danger in establishing a precedent in the State deciding what you can do on-line?
