J.M.W. Turner was one of our greatest artists who produced romantic landscapes that are still breathtaking to behold even after two hundred years. In an act of satanic inversion, the Turner Prize which is named after him, regularly rewards the most grotesque examples of ”modern art”. Today the annual Turner Prize (£25k) has been awarded to a trans-man (aka a woman) who hates Brexit, cheerleads for Palestine, and whose award winning art consists of overturned crowd control barriers, some files dumped on the floor and a bit of barded wire.
