REMEMBER WHEN THE TORIES WERE AGAINST THE SURVEILLANCE STATE?

By Pete Moore On December 3rd, 2012

Well done Tory drones, you’ve been suckered again. Digital Dave Cameron spoke often about the surveillance state prior to the election, promising to roll it back and protect civil liberties. That’s what the Tories thought about it, on the left, from page 79 of the 2010 manifesto.

Roll forward a couple of years and Interior Minister Theresa von May thinks that all of our communications must be recorded, that the state must have access, and that if we disagree we must be on the side of terrorists and kiddie-fiddlers.

Well done Tory drones, you were suckered yet again. When will you learn that the major political parties are one LibLabCon party? When will it penetrate your thick skulls that nothing changes whoever gains power because they’re on the same side and advocate exactly the same policies?

Or in plain English, the same agenda, and just who is pulling all the strings.

Even with the stark staring horrific truth of the Big brother Orwelian sate bearing down upon us all, still the nieve and the gullible, shout and scream ‘Conspiracy theorists’.

  2. Good article but one flaw. If you were a proper Tory then last GE you would have voted UKIP as I did. Todays Tory ‘lite’ is basically Nu Liebour.

Thatcher would be revolving in her grave at the parvenu spivs running the party these days.

Those ‘Spivs’ are exactly the same as the last lot of Spivs, ( meet the new Boss, exactly the same as the Boss) none of them could run a bath, let alone a Country, what they are good at is following orders unashamed.

  4. This isn’t even the beginning, but possibly the end of the beginning (paraphrasing Churchill). The NYPD is allowing police to create fake IDs to go onto facebook and social media. The usual FBI-like entrapment will surely follow, and that creates jobs for the cops:

A memo by Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly says cops can use aliases that they may register with the department and internet access that can’t be traced back to the NYPD.

  5. The Tories mnay well have discoverd – quite by accident, of course, – that most folk just aren’t really bright enough to appreciate or properly use ‘freedom’, as they seem to conveniently forget that freedom also requires responsibility to be really effective.

Meet the new Boss, exactly the same as the old Boss .. it’s like groundhog day.

  8. Autonomous Mind,

” Regime change starts at home”

It starts with Flaming torches & Pitchforks, Tar & Feathering and lots of piano wire and lampposts ;-)

  9. Perfect analysis on how pathetic the Tory Party is. It is just the Con part of the Lib/Lab/Con Party. There truly is very little difference between any of them. From an ex-Tory Party member. Don’t blame me, I did not vote for Cameron.

Dont vote for any of them, it only encourages them.
