It is a fact that the earth rotates around the Sun. It is a fact that if you curtail free speech you get an oppressive government. It is a fact that if you spend more than you bring in you will go bankrupt.
One mans faith as in religion may be another mans fiction, but 2+2=4 even if the education system says it’s ok if Johnny says it’s 5, doesn’t make it a fiction. 2+2 is still 4.
Is religion a fact or not?
Religion is Faith not fact that’s what makes it a religion you have faith in things that can’t be proven beyond a doubt.

One man’s opinion of something as truth may be, in another man’s opinion, untruth. However the truth of the matter is independant of the opinion of either, unless that opinion is part of the initial something or it is a statement about the future and the opinion can effect the outcome. (There may be some possibilities that I haven’t though of but you get the gist

No, the whole point of truth is that it is objective, provable and constant.
That’s how we were able to develop science and that is how we evaluate moral codes.
Troll is right. Religion is faith, but true faith requires enough intellectual and empirical truth/integrity to justify taking that step of faith.
The great danger in the western nations is a growing acceptance that truth is what you want it to be, and two people can believe totally different things but Inclusivity and non Judgmentalism requires that both be accepted.
