Toni Townes ’85 is a onetime policy analyst with the General Accounting Office and previously served in the Peace Corps in Gabon, West Africa. Her decision to return to work, as an African-American woman, after six years of raising kids was applauded by a Princeton alumni publication in 1998

George Schindler, the president for U.S. and Canada of the Canadian-based CGI Group, CGI Federal’s parent company, became an Obama 2012 campaign donor after his company gained the Obamacare website contract.

As reported by the Washington Examiner in early October, the Department of Health and Human Services reviewed only CGI’s bid for the Obamacare account.

  1. For graft and corruption you actually have to have a basis to claim graft and corruption. The claim that someone in a company graduated from the same college is proof of either is ridiculous.

  2. More graft and corruption……

Texans for Public Justice reported Friday afternoon that Montreal-based CGI Group, which provides IT consulting services, received a $1.8 million state investment in 2011 through the Texas Enterprise Fund, a state business incentive fund overseen by Gov. Rick Perry.

Perry relies on the Texas Enterprise Fund to award millions in tax dollars to close the deal with businesses that are expected to create jobs in Texas.

A breakdown of Texas Enterprise Fund awards shows the CGI’s contract with the governor’s office began in October 2011, and the company has received at least two payouts of $600,000 since then.

Investments are approved by the governor, Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst and House Speaker Joe Straus. CGI has contributed thousands to Perry, Straus and the Republican Party of Texas since 2004, according to Texans for Public Justice.

CGI is set to receive millions of dollars more from another state entity.

The Texas Railroad Commission, which regulates the state’s oil and gas industry, awarded CGI a $13.9 million contract in August for an “IT modernization” program.

  3. The first line should have read,

    Bonafide graft and corruption.

  4. I can’t find the thread where Troll is blabbering about “Obama’s wiretaps” but here

  5. Pinky I may ramble or rant, but I never blabber.

Daphne corruption and graft are the fetters under every politicians coat no matter what side of the Isle they sit.

Mohons… Really a no bid contract to a foreign company who just happens to have close connections with the Obama’s as it’s vice president in charge of contract acquisitions? Yeah nothing to see here, move along, these aren’t the droids your looking for….

  6. Saw that earlier today, Pinky.

    Not at all surprised.

Troll, start calling out your own corrupt (Tea Party Secessionist-Pro business, God slobbering Perry) side once in a while and we might start taking your proclaimed conservatism seriously. Learning to spell wouldn’t hurt either.

  7. go scratch hag, my contempt is delivered to all equally. I’ve given no one a pass, and Perry was a politician long before the rise of the tea party.

  8. The men of the Boston Tea Party would probably have only have contempt for the pig ignorant slobs of this era who pretend to follow in their footsteps.

  9. Troll that is a reach even Stretch Armstrong would be proud of

  10. I’m sorry EP but all no bid contracts are corruption and graft, and when the connection is right in your face it’s kind of hard not to see it, but if it’s a stretch to you… oh well

Phantom your comment perfectly proves my point. To you a person who can be connected to the tea party is a connection to a form of evil. To you the tea party are the same as a jew is to Allan.

That is the level to which you have brought yourself.

  11. The best of the US were in Dublin this week. Great discussions, great spirit.

  12. ahh the commie pinkos we’re out in full I see.

  13. There is no Tea Party

There are a confused bunch of angry posers and frauds with wildly contradictory positions.

  14. OK Allan jr

  15. Troll – I see, one of the hundreds of people who graduated with the First Lady at Princeton in 1985 has a management position in a company connected to a federal contract and accordingly the Administration steered the contract to her company.

What the simpleton section of the Right Wing has never figured out to this day is that by making up easily dismissed stories and exaggerating others about the Administration is that they allow the real criticism to go to the side in all the noise and nonsense.

  16. there is no “real” criticism of this administration.

They are the Purest of the Pure, the embodiment of what the perfect American family and politicians that we should all aspire to be.

  17. here Mahons some proof that your right. The company received the contract because of how competently it has already performed other contracts.
