  1. A vicious mass murderer, and a very ungrateful beggar.

  2. He is obviously not on Wolfies Christmas card list this year, that is reason alone to like the bloke.

  3. Hi gang. Just got back from jolly old London, and listened to Bibi’s speech on the east coast train, on the way up.

Have to say, his command of English is pretty near impeccable, and his classical references to ‘A Farewell to Arms’ and the poet Robert Frost, was very neatly inserted. He sure got a lot of applause for his efforts and will go back feeling considerably buoyed-up by the response.

However, his special pleading won’t assuage the US population that he’s a homicidal maniac of a racially supremacist state, and that bombing Iran (that’s the real intention), far from neutralising it, would unleash a new wave of terror attacks across the whole region, and pull in other nuclear powers.

Having said that, the London to Edinburgh rail line must be the most scenic and comfortable journey anywhere in the UK.

  4. Moe, Larry, and Curly

  5. 500 children slaughtered in Gaza last summer, Troll. Shame on you for brown-nosing this blood soaked killer.

  6. I’ve taken the London to Edinburgh fast train, years ago in my backpacking days.

Even though it not especially fast by European standards, that train was a wonder to me. We passed cars on the highway like they were standing still, and kept that fast pace for much of the trip. There is nothing like that train in the US.

  7. those 500 are nothing. You don’t get it do you?

  8. Shame on you.

  9. That’s good Phantom.
Many of the steam trains in these photo’s can be regularly seen during the summer months:

    whoops..

  10. Troll, are sure you’re a genuine Catholic?
You don’t sound like one in the least.
    More like a Neocon.
    You certainly look very Jewish..

  11. Like I said you don’t get it. If you took the time to listen to the speech Bibi just said that no matter what Israel is going to Attack Iran.

That was the whole point of this speech. It wasn’t to convince the President to do anything different than what he’s doing Netanyahu knows that’s a lost cause.

This speech was a notification to Iran and any other Nation that still understands the value of and strives to maintain Life & Liberty that Israel will not let Iran continue on this path. That even if they have to go it alone. They are going to stop Iran.

  12. Bernard you’re an asshole…… but I mean that in the kindest way possible

  13. This speech was a notification to Iran and any other Nation that still understands the value of and strives to maintain Life & Liberty that Israel will not let Iran continue on this path.

You do irony very well if unintentionally

  14. Those 500 are nothing

    That’s a new low Troll.

I read about your health and financial concerns earlier on another thread and I sincerely hope that things improve for you in both circumstances but when I read filth such as your comment above it’s very difficult to feel compassion for you.

  15. Israel does not have the power to stop Iran by itself.

It is a strong nation, but the geography is completely wrong for it, and they will never be able to get to all the facilities.

  16. NetanYAHOO is a maniac.

The current Iranian government is prepared to do a mutually acceptable deal with the US and other imperialist countries: to forgo some of its rights under the NPT in exchange for reprieve from the cruel sanctions. Sensible people should be broadly in favour, even if it’s still very dangerous that a rogue state like Israel already has a nuclear arsenal.

  17. I wasn’t cheering the 500 dead I was stating a fact in response to an idiot throwing 500 children at Bibi’s feet when it was the mothers and fathers of those dead 500 kids that are the ones responsible for their deaths.

And anyone who doesn’t grasp that I couldn’t give two shits about their opinion of me because they and you are the ones with the fucked up opinion on who is responsible for those children’s deaths.

  18. You are messed up, Troll.

They wont get all the facilities, but they’ll get what they can, and last week Saudi Arabia gave them permission to fly over their territory.

  20. coming from you Petr I’ll take that as a compliment

  21. Your 8.30 is nothing more than an apology for terror and killing.

How can you expect anyone to feel compassion for you when you have so little of it for other human beings, particularly innocent little children?

  22. Troll — I have been nothing but polite to you, but the insults keep coming from your side. The other day you called me a moron, even though what I said was demonstrably correct: that ISIS began in Iraq, NOT Syria as you claimed. Instead of acknowledging your error and withdrawing the ad hom, you doubled down. What kind of a man are you? I’m considering rethinking my habit of treating you with respect here. I don’t think you deserve it.

  23. Saudi Arabia gave them permission to fly over their territory.

I am not so sure about that.

And I don’t for a second think that Saudi Arabia will allow sustained overflights by Israel so that the Israelis can attack a muslim nation.

  24. I’m sorry Petr and I mean that sincerely. Even though I think you are wrong on every point I really didn’t mean to offend you.

I’ve been very irritable and I am not discriminating on who I am being obnoxious to, As they say don’t take it personal, just take it.

god you people are so thin skinned, sticks and stones people.

  25. Right because the Saudi’s don’t see a nuclear Iran as a threat.

and they would never allow jews to take the blame for killing fellow muslims instead of having to do it themselves.

  26. Thank you Troll. A good response which I appreciate. Although I am not thin skinned, just think it’s nice when people afford a minimum of respect to one another.

Caveat: This does not apply to Nazis.

believe it or not I agree…. I’m just no good at it.

  29. The Saudis are scared to death at the possibility of a nuclear armed Iran

But if they allow overflights for Israel to attack Iran there will be huge internal and external uprisings in many countries

  30. http://static.theglobalmail.org/cache/91/8b/918b3f127dc93e99545a0ea34d91a64d.jpg

Any attack on Iran by Israel will result in major upheavals in many Muslim countries but especially in the Shia world.

Saudi Arabia itself has a large Shia population along the Gulf.

There are no great choices that I can see.

I have just one question What do you call the Arab Spring?

  32. There was no Arab Spring.

Savage had that one correct. It was the Arab Winter. in the final result.

If there is an Israeli attack on Iran I would expect widespread and violent upheaval, including in Iraq, which is majority Shia. A lot of the Arab ( so called ) Spring was peaceful. The reaction to an Israeli attack on Iran would not be peaceful.

Again, there are never good choices in this part of the world. There are less bad choices, perhaps.

  33. since you seem to have missed my sarcasm let me be B&W.

The choices have already been made. There isn’t anywhere in the Middle East that isn’t already in upheaval.

and actually it’s neither spring nor winter…. It’s the Fall… ha ha get it 😉

  34. Here’s what Jon Sopel of the BBC says about the speech, or at least about the theatre, under a picture of Netanyahu’s groopies, with the caption:

“Republican senators rise for one of at least 20 standing ovations”

Benjamin Netanyahu rocked the Capitol. His political stagecraft was unbelievable. He had them cheering, whooping and hollering. And that was before he’d said a word.

He knew every button to press. […]

It is hard to think of any other national assembly – including Israel – where Mr Netanyahu would be given such adulation.

For a moment, I tried to imagine Bibi in the Westminster Parliament, or the Assemblee Nationale in Paris or the Bundestag in Berlin. He wouldn’t have got anything like that reception.

But here in Washington his script lines, his delivery and his message had US congressmen and women leaping up from their seats like jack-in-the-boxes.

What do our US posters think about Bill O’Reilly seemingly having told a pack of lies about his reporting down the years?

  40. I would not be surprised if the allegations against him are all true.

And I don’t think that he did much writing or research on those ” Killing ” books either. I think that all the heavy lifting was done by the other fellow.

  41. //Noel your comment sums up why the Islamic horde conquers large sections of europe//

My comment? I only made a link, and I think that shows how Israel has conquered large sections of the US government.

  42. I said that he was at Lee Harvey Oswald’s friend’s house when he shot himself, but audio has come out of him being told about that suicide by another reporter. He wasn’t there!

He also said he saw people killed in El Salvador and ‘Northern Ireland’, but when pushed on this has acknowledged he just saw photos!!!

    Complete BS artist.

  44. CBS suspended Brian Williams

Fox News won’t suspend O’Reilly. They could care less about these matters. They are to the news what ” professional wrestling ” is to boxing.

  45. Noel: “Republican senators rise for one of at least 20 standing ovations” This headline illustrates the lack of professionalism and bias on the part of our MSM:

Yes, Republicans have the majority in both houses now.

And, yes, there were some Democrats who declined their invite to the meeting.

But the clapping and cheering was on both sides of the aisle for Netanyahu – both Democrats and Republicans gave numerous standing ovations for the Prime Minister of Israel – together, bi-partisan.

  46. Bibi managed to do what no Prime Minister of Israel has ever done before – divide Congressional sympathy towards Israel’s policy. I don’t recall ever seeing that many members of either party miss a joint session.
I can’t recall a part of today’s speech that was new. Can anyone else?

  47. //“Republican senators rise for one of at least 20 standing ovations” This headline illustrates the lack of professionalism and bias//

Patty, it wasn’t a headline, but a caption under a photo of a section of the audience, no doubt Republicans. So the editor had no choice but to write “Republicans” as that is, presumably, all the photo showed.

Just look at those faces! Are they really as brain-dead as they look?

Frankly, I’d be embarrassed if a body with such gravitas as the parliament of my country so thoroughly licked the back of the hand of any foreign leader, giving him more adulation than he would get even in his own parliament.

Congress has now effectively granted another government the right of veto over American foreign policy.

  48. I’ve never liked Bill O’Reilly

  49. 20 minute standing ovation by both Senate and the House, both Republican and Democrat, for Bibi when he entered the room before his speech.

Spin it however you like but Israel seems to have an ally in America.

you’re looking at this from a wrong angle.

This speech contrary to how it played was not how you’re viewing it. Both Democrats and Republicans before this invite were very concerned with the Presidents negotiations with Iran.

The original purpose of the invite was to get both parties to act as a Congress to balance out the security of the country over Obama’s fantasy view of the world. The republicans alone can not stop him Congress has to act in unity to oppose him.

Members on both sides knew this and wanted to present the issue before all members of congress in the hope of getting the two sides to act as a coequal branch of government to stop this treaty.

Obama beat them by making it partisan. It is sad that you and so many others are so obsessed with the game of politics that you allowed the issue to take the back seat to the game. The President played this perfectly and got everyone fighting over anything but his actions.

Look at what you just said Bibi divided the congress spoken like a true cons mark. You are the exact reaction that the President wanted and achieved.

Here I spoke of this with a post back in January before all the spin took place that turned this into something it wasn’t supposed to be.

You Mahons were the first to comment on the thread of my post saying “Boy cried wolf” and you threw shots at both congress and israel calling congress “occupied territory” I was making the same argument that I just put forward 2 months ago.

Go refresh your memory, and then tell me how it was NEVER bipartisan.

  51. Bill O’Reilly is fine. He’s a commentator. He comments on the news. He doesn’t claim to be a reporter nor does he claim to be objective.

Don’t be so easily swayed, Troll – just because the crowd here bashes O’Reilly there is no reason for you to join in. They are never going to like you.

  52. Troll, you are in way too deep here at ATW – who cares what Mahons thinks?

It’s partisan propaganda. You are never going to convince him of anything. It’s not a discussion. You might as well be discussing butterflies with yourself in the bathtub.

  53. Please note, in America: the Democrats are now in the minority in both the House and the Senate as well as the state governorships and the state houses of government. Across the board, Democrats are in the minority. The only thing left is the Presidency and time will tell on this.

So suit yourself and spin away you partisan American Democrats – pretend that your Progressive views are winning the argument.

The proof is slowly trickling in: socialism is passé now and even global warming is done for.

  54. Patty

You’re losing the plot even more than before.

People who disagree on many things are discussing something

No one is trying to make others like them or anything remotely like that. High school was long ago.

  55. I hear you Patty. It’s frustrating. Go back and read the post I did about this speech before it got spun into this mess by the President and tell me if you see my point.

The last line of that post was

We shall see over the next few months what is more important. Peoples lives or Politics.

We now have the answer. Politics is more important than peoples lives.

  56. Tell me about it, o’ Phantom minder!!

How do you get any work done? Or is this your work?

  57. Troll, the Progressive Dems who wanted to sideline Israel have lost the argument. 20 minutes of a standing ovation is significant.

The problem of the situation is: Obama is an ideologue who doesn’t care if he’s lost the argument – he will barrel ahead with his ill advised middle east policy regardless.

That’s where we stand today. What Mahons says or what Phantom says is irrelevant.

  58. Patty

You are following Harri on that parrot line

How does it feel like to follow a follower?

Will you follow him into Trutherism as well?

  59. Patty I agree, and I hope that assessment is correct.

I just reposted my original piece go read it.

I also invite the rest of you that are attacking Bibi to play the minute and a half clip of D Senator Menendez and listen to what he had to say.

  60. In today’s print NY Times there is a full page ad supporting the Bibi speech from something called the Republican Jewish Coalition.

This is correctly seen as an irresponsible stunt by Bibi and the Republican leaders.

  61. To use an O’Reilly quote, O’ minder, O’ Phantom:

“I’ll let you have the last word!” 🙂

  62. so says the bubble as dictated by the gospel of the NYT.

What’s the matter phantom, no balls to go back and hear what a very left wing senator had to say about this before the president spun it through your precious gospel so people like you would dance to the pied pipers tune.

as I said to you and many others protecting your Politics is more important than protecting peoples lives.

here don’t read the post since you can’t face it gather the intellectual fortitude if you have any to listen to the clip… but oh god you can’t do that it might cause you to question the blind uninformed view that you are so convinced is the ONLY view.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKh7ZJEIjak

  63. you’re a disgrace

  64. 60 Democrats boycotted the speech- I believe that no Republicans did.

Why would they? It was their show. The Republican senator from Israel was on stage!

The Israeli elections are on March 17. What a St Patricks Day present if Bibi loses his job, supposedly a real possibility

    Cheers

    The Disgrace

  65. sadly you still miss the point my friend.

You are stuck on the puppet theater that is being played by the President. I know you’re not interested in hearing that you think that. You believe I am motivated against Obama for reasons other than his policies, his actions, and his behavior.

That’s your choice, you believe what you want. Your single mindedness is who you are.

So no matter what you believe I’m just going to state what I believe one last time and then move on.

Iran is building a bomb, when they get it they will use it.

We are going to do nothing to stop it.

One of two things are going to happen.

1000s are going to die in a nuclear flash or

Israel is going to do their best to destroy Irans capability to build the bomb.

I’m rooting for the Jews. Their leader is the only national leader in the world that I trust and I believe at this period of time. And I wish him success.

Oh and sorry but Bibi is in no danger of losing his job. The jewish people understand that out of the choices they have he is the only one who is going to protect them, and they also know that right now they are in as much danger as they were in the late 30s. that’s why he has already won they just have to count the votes.

Phantom has had a rather long shift by the look of it, started at approximatley 11.50am and finished at approximatley 01.30am, wow, that’s over a 13 hour shift at the snoopers HQ.

Phantom, do you never get tired if just peering at a screen all day?

Ask your supervisor for a chnage of shift patterns, or some down time to relax and chill a while.

    Mr Follower.

  67. //The Republican senator from Israel was on stage!//

    That’s about it.

  68. Should be clocking on time soon for start of shift.

Actually it’s far worse than I first thought, Phantom completed a marathon yesterday with way over 14 odd hours non-stop at the coalface.

I am not too sure what the hourly rate is for state snoops in this day and age, but even on minimum wage, that’s a lot of tax dollars going to waste.

There must be health risks from staring at a screen 24/7, lack of sunlight must be one of them, a lack of vitamin D can cause all sorts of health problems.

Actually, as a righteous pointed out on the State Pravda BBC last week, Ester Ransom I do believe who knows everything there is to know, ‘Loneliness is a killer, in fact it’s so deadly, it’s as dangerous as smoking 15 cigarettes a day’ .. yes, she actually said that.

Indeed – but many here are happy with that.

  70. Cripes.

Speaking of commie dictators, the Neocon Review notes that Rand Paul was less than completely enthusiastic, for a couple of seconds at least, by Netanyahoo’s speech.

Yes, and blatantly interefering in US politics. He openly supported Romney last time and is collecting his reward from the GOP in the form of free electioneering for the folks back home. Let’s hope they reject this insult to their intelligence and boot the warmongerer out.

The slavish adulation of the GOP congressmen and senators shows that neo-con capture of the party is complete.
