bee gees.jpgTony Blair doesn’t fool me for a minute. The media report that Blair is paying to use the Florida home of the Bee Gees singer Robin Gibb, The Prime Minister and members of his family are based at the $10m Miami Beach mansion while on holiday. He has faced criticism for staying for free at the holiday homes of friends in the past but a spokesman said there was a "private commercial arrangement". I bet.

LOOK BEYOND THE STORY! It’s obvious, on reflection, that the Bee Gees have actually been directing UK Government policy for some years now!! I mean just look at those song titles if you need further convincing…

"I started a Joke" …..think Government immigration "policy" ….and the whole world IS laughing..at us.

"Tragedy"….think Government education policy and the shocking fact that 25% of Primary School kids leave without basic reading or writing skills. Oh, it sure is a tragedy.

"Stayin’ Alive"..think Government indifference to providing adequate equipment for our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.

"How deep is your love"….think Blair’s infatuation with the IRA and the hand of history.

  1. Or ‘Night Fever’, to describe the multitude of diseases brought in to this country as a result of Labour’s immigration policies.

  2. It can be bad for your career to be assocaited with fake, flashy has-beens….but if the Bee Gees want to be seen with Tony Blair that’s their business.

(with apologies to whoever thought this joke up re Limpet and the Cheeky Girl)

  3. Tony may have been delighted with such serenades as ‘You Win Again’ after the last election, but I suspect ‘For Whom The Bell Tolls’ and ‘Alone’ may be more appropriate soundtracks this time next year.

  4. The Bee Gees 1981 single "He’s a liar" seems to be the most apt.

  5. NRG,
    Good one.
