Hundreds of British buses will carry adverts praising Allah as part of a campaign launched by the country’s biggest Muslim charity to help victims of Syria’s civil war. Islamic Relief hopes the posters, which bear the words “Subhan Allah”, meaning “Glory be to God” in Arabic, will portray Islam and international aid in a positive light.
This comes within days of London electing its first ever muslim Mayor.
Of course, Islam has a somewhat troubled history with London buses…as 7/7 made manifest.

I’ve been seeing some anti Muslim billboards over in NYC and frankly it is a sign of free speech. Good thing. When can we have free speech in the uk?

We have it here, too. Most of it consists of garish marketing graphics and I don’t understand why we’re visually assaulted day in and out by private advertising on tax payer funded conveyances.

On the matter of advertising on buses, there was recently and advert on Aberdeen’s buses saying – Some people are gay: get over it. I have nothing to get over but I wonder as to whether an advert saying – Most people are straight: get over it, would be permitted? That some people are gay and that most people are straight are facts, but some facts are more ‘factual’ than others in our cultural marxist world.

ATW has been analogised in the past as a bar room well, if you look around this bar room most of its regular punters no longer inhabit it.
