OSAMA SPEAKS?

By ATWadmin On September 7th, 2007

So, Bin Laden dyes his beard!

Rumours circulate that a new video message from Osama bin Laden is to be released in the coming days ahead of the sixth anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attacks, his first new message in more than a year. The Al Qa’eda leader has not appeared in new video footage since Oct. 29, 2004, and he has not put out a new audiotape in more than a year. US intelligence agents were last night examining a still photo released at the same time as the announcement, which was said to have been taken from the video. One difference in his appearance was immediately obvious in comparison to other videos released in the past. In the still photo from the upcoming video his beard is fully black, while it was almost entirely gray with dark streaks in previous videos.

A few points here.

1. It’s a pity that he has not died, rather than his beard having been dyed. This terror warlord deserves death.

2. If he is still alive, then in a way it is good since he reminds us that we must never ever give up in our battle against Islamic Jihadists. All talk of cut and run is a victory for Bin Laden.

3. We’re getting close to the 6th anniversary of that dreadful day and six years on, let me ask you a question. Bin Laden appears to not have forgotten what was done that day, and in fact he appears to delight in the deaths. How do YOU feel about 9/11, six years later? Still angered? Still shocked? Still wanting to fight back? I know that everytime I see a programme on TV, or read a book about it, the emotions all flood back to me. Still unbelievable to think of what happened that day to so many innocent Americans.

I’ll have more to say on this topic on the anniversary itself.

  1. Poor Osama. He spent years masterfully plotting the greatest terror attack in history, saw it successfully carried out to devastating effect, and now most of his allies throughout the Muslim world think the Jews did it instead of him, and most of his allies in the West all think that George Bush did it intead of him!

    Man he must be pissed…

  2. I think he died in Tora Bora. The pictures are probably old ones that have been photoshopped.

I’m still angry as Hell about 9/11. Every time I see footage of the attack, tears start to flow.

They’ve just started running public service announcemments here telling people to have a family Terror Attack Plan. That is not making me feel real friendly towards muslims.

  3. I am angry about 9/11 and angry that we diverted our attention from punishing those responsible by a chaotic escapade in a fubar invasion of Iraq.

  4. "I think he died in Tora Bora. The pictures are probably old ones that have been photoshopped."

Nope, a new piece of open source software released a couple of weeks ago allows you to tell which parts of photographs have been photoshopped or otherwise altered post-production. You can also tell when they were made and what camera took the picture. The makers published the results for pictures of Osama Bin Laden and oddly enough the photos themselves were genuine, but some things had been edited. In one photo, for instance, a stack of books was added into the background, stuff like that.

  5. I burst into tears on the bus this morning (and had to get off) when i read in The Times about an American soldier who was injured in a road side bomb this week. When they cut through his blood sodden uniform they found all his limbs were attached by the skin and amputated them all. He is 19. Two hours later an Iraqi detainee arrived at the medical centre heavily sedated and blindfolded – when they removed the bandages from his eyes they found his eyes had been gouged out and his tongue cut off. His body so badly beaten his skin needed to be cut open to release the pressure. Other Iraqi victims arrived riddled with bullets including a 2 year old girl caught up in the fight over oil smuggling syndicates. (And then there is the 19 year old British soldier who also lost all his limbs, member of an army whose presence wasnt even recognised by the american media until they left Basra City and who are ridiculed by US commenters on the Times website). A 22 year old female US soldier who attempted suicide with aspirin who was flown to Germany. Unsuccessful bombers who didnt quite manage to blow themselves to bits, 10 and 12 year old boys who blew their arms off planting IEDs – lying next to the soldiers who lost limbs in those IED explosions – to the anger of other US soldiers who dont understand why US doctors are saving their killers. A boy accidentally shot in the head at a checkpoint who will be brain damaged for life. Numerous Iraqis hit by celebrationary bullets – 10 alone the night their bloody football team won. An American nurse who was blown up in a bomb attack on the gym where she was trying to ‘drop 2 dress sizes before my wedding’….i wound up sitting in the catholic church in Soho square wondering why I ever supported this fucking pointless war. The belief that it has ‘to be for something’, i guess, using the words of the US medical Captain Meadows at the army medical centre where this all takes place day in day out.

  6. Well said, Alison

  7. I’m sorry you got so upset Alison. War is a terrible thing and should not be taken lightly.

  8. Alison: I don’t know if you folks get HBO programming, but there is a special this weekend of interviews (by the actor who played Tony Sporano of all things) with soldiers who were wounded in Iraq that is supposed to be very good.

  9. Aliosn, you reference human sufering as a cytalist for anti war sentiments,

prior to the Iraq war were you ignorant of what war entails ?

what did you think was going to happen when you send hundreds of tions of weapons and guys tyrianed to kil to meet their Oriental counterpartys ?

  10. Alison, You, like I, tend to lead with our hearts. That’s one thing that makes me a good pharmacist, and you a good person. The images you describe are all over the world, from Iraq, to Darfur, to the jungles of Columbia, and the islands of the Phillipines.

We must remember though, that we Are on the side of right in Iraq, defending the Iraqis from the head-choppers. If we want to get angry, it should be at the Jihadi terrorists causing the mayhem, imho.

That being said, I’ll repeat an old line.

"For those that think with their heads, life can be heaven, but for those who feel with their hearts, it can be a living hell. 🙁

  11. "what did you think was going to happen when you send hundreds of tions of weapons and guys tyrianed to kil to meet their Oriental counterpartys ?"

We had a party in Japan?

  12. So the ROP leader isn’t dead. Damn.

I just read the Osama transcript.

I am beyond enraged. This POS bastard has some nerve. Fuck him. I hope a Marine puts a round between his hateful eyes.

    * To conclude," bin Laden says, "I invite you to embrace Islam." He goes on to say: "There are no taxes in Islam, but rather there is a limited Zakaat [alms] totaling 2.5 percent." *

    Fuck You Osama.

  13. What Charles said.

Also – I don’t think that is bin Laden. Whoever it is, the issuance of the final chance to convert to islam is the predecessor to more killing and carnage.

  14. Monica

‘Whoever it is, the issuance of the final chance to convert to islam is the predecessor to more killing and carnage’

Possibly but then again, we’re the West.

It’s never a good idea to go against us.

You might want to inquire of the ghosts of the Reich, the Sovietsksii Soyusz and the Empire of Japan.

The Islamists? Pah! Cost of Empire hon.

  15. I think that OBL (actually his very badly done look alike) needs to inquire of the ghosts of the Reich, etc..etc..

But oohhhhh noooooo. His stinking koran tells him he’ll win! LOLLOLLOL

  16. Alison: As far as I can tell – based on what I read, and what I hear – those who are actually fighting, and actually are dying and getting wounded, believe very strongly that it is "for something."

I think that to doubt this, or to imply doubt, does a dishonor to their sacrifice.

  17. "I am angry about 9/11 and angry that we diverted our attention from punishing those responsible by a chaotic escapade in a fubar invasion of Iraq."

    See, occasionally we do agree.

    Alison,

Our soldiers have been betrayed by being put in harm’s way and then having both hands tied behind their back by politicians, the media and of course the despicable ‘Human Rights’ lobby of the Left which is far more interested in prison rations in Guantanamo than people having their heads sawn off in Iraq.

We are swatting wasps in the kitchen and ignoring the nest a few metres away at the back of the garden. We should either pull out and let the wasps take over or invade Iran and *eradicate the nest*.

  18. 9/11 is being dealt with now on RFE on wbai.org NY. It’s shaping up to be a pretty good show from the city affected by it most.
