BBC CHEERLEADS FOR AL QU’EDA

By ATWadmin On September 29th, 2007

I note that Britain’s former spy chief has accused the BBC of "parroting" Al Qaeda propaganda to children as young as six.

Dame Pauline Neville Jones, who is also a former BBC governor, is infuriated at the stance the corporation’s Newsround programme took on the September 11 attacks. She accused the flagship children’s news bulletin of feeding an "ugly undercurrent" which suggests the terrorist outrage was somehow justifiable. Newsround is aimed at viewers aged between six and 12.

On its website it answered the question concerning 9/11, "Why did they do it" by saying: "The way America has got involved in conflicts in regions like the Middle East has made some people very angry, including a group called al Qaeda – who are widely thought to have been behind the attacks." After the public complained, the text was amended. It now reads: "Al Qaeda is unhappy with America and other countries getting involved in places like the Middle East. "People linked to al Qaeda have used violence to make this point in the U.S.A, and in other countries."

Dame Pauline, who headed the Government’s Joint Intelligence Committee and is described as the most formidable female diplomat Britain has produced, said the new version was even worse. "It still says it’s all America’s fault, and now for daring to be involved in the Middle East at all," she said. "It wasn’t ‘people linked to’ al Qaeda who killed 3,000 people that day, it was al Qaeda itself."

She’s right. The BBC, like certain others on the Left, cannot just accept the simple truth that Al Queda want to kill us just because they hate us, they despise our freedoms and liberty. They are the enemies of civilisation BUT to say that would be judgemental and that goes against the value system of the multicultis.

  1. Given that the BBC is acting as the propaganda arm for al-Qa’eda and that al-Qa’eda has stated that it is at war with the UK, can the licence fee be justified? We surely cannot be obliged to fund the organisation which supports war against us, and propaganda is a weapon, is it not?

  2. The BBC is getting worse, almost every week now we read something about their message boards, and how they favour an anti UK stand. It’s a ludicrous posisition for British state television to advertise such a position.

  3. As Mark Twain said of the weather, everyone complains about the BBC but no one does anything. My question is, Is the BBC really as powerful as a force of nature? Or has decades of socialism sapped the people of will?

  4. Banjo,

I think your last point has relevance, and it may well be that years of drip drip drip socialism has reduced the people to the status of a flock. Baaaa…

  5. I take it then that you are all in agreement with Alex Kane when he says this in todays NewsLetter:-

” In this matter I must respectfully claim that Unionists have not been good at countering the Shinner narrative which can rely on BBC NI

through a mixture of bad elements and a lazy unreflective ‘leftist’ world view that is as unsympathetic to Unionism as it is to Israel and the USA.”

  6. Alex must have been listening to me!

  7. lol David, maybe Alex he was reading ‘Shrek’ Gaskin’s site.

lazy unreflective ‘leftist’ world view that is as unsympathetic to Unionism as it is to Israel and the USA.”

Well the balrog came to my mind as soon as I read that lol.
