THE INSANITY OF THE LEFT..

By David Vance On April 21st, 2017

The UK General Election campaign has kicked off and Labour have reverted to type. Their first big idea was to increase taxes on “the wealthy” – (in their eyes being anyone on a salary over £70k!) and now they have a new wheeze…

Jeremy Corbyn will switch the focus of Labour’s campaign to education on Friday with a speech in Wales, warning that too many schoolchildren are “crammed into classrooms like sardines”. The Labour leader will visit the Conservative constituency of Cardiff North where he will claim that “seven years of Tory failure and broken promises have left our schools in a terrible state” and that “hundreds of thousands of our children are paying the price”.

The REASON that classrooms are so crammed is because of the vast increase in the numbers of children seeking an education. This explosion in this crunch demographic age group is the direct result of …uncontrolled and unlimited IMMIGRATION, a key Labour policy since 1997.

Do remember the UK indigenous birth-rate is BELOW replacement level but because we import MILLIONS without restriction then this is the utterly predictable consequence. Public services are squeezed. So, Labour cause the problem, then stand back and criticise the Government for not fixing it. Brexit will be a start, but not the finish. Making sure Labour NEVER get back into power is essential and you will see that manifest on June 9th.

  1. Making sure Labour NEVER get back into power

    It’s probably for the best.

  2. When you look at Labour, you can see it deserves to lose.

And when you look at the Conservatives, you can see they deserve to lose too.

  3. DV –

It’s the same with all “public services”. The state has never spent so much on them, but everywhere they crumble and are over-subscribed because of the tsunami of immigration which Labour kicked off.

Look at NHS funding. It’s been going through the rood for years and continues to climb. But putting aside that it’s a terrible model and managed badly, capacity simply can’t keep up with the growth in population.

Seven weeks till polling say and Labour is advertising for candidates.

  5. PeteM no good throwing your hands in the air, blaming dem darkies
it matters not even if you’re right even , we need solutions , not aggro
that’s what gov’ts have to do, face what’s in front of them ..

  6. jude

i will leave PeteM to speak for himself.

But since when MASS immigration been about the colour of a persons skin ? I know you ‘types’ like to label and stereotype those who you disagree with but, why should someone from India (eg a doctor, engineer or nurse) be prevented from coming to the UK, even if they speak perfectly good English, and a Romanian with no skill or even a work of English can simply turn up ? And please remember, it was Labour that created this.

  7. it matters not even if you’re right even , we need solutions

There are no solutions, it’s gone too far.

    Enoch Powell was, unfortunately, right.

  8. Good point MarKB, we need a green card system, and yes I accept that immigration wasn’t working within the EU. It started ok , but when the financial crisis disproportionately affected some countries, UK was seen as a soft touch .. things then went tits up .
In my view that’s a real shame. Nationalism is great in sport and culture, but the world is more organic a system: travel, work, skills etc change develop, we trade .. deep subject.:)

  9. Or maybe the EU expanded way further than it needed to.

Like some US megabanks, it’s too big to be managed properly?

  10. There are no solutions, it’s gone too far.
    Enoch Powell was, unfortunately, right.

    Harri,
    That won’t do though:
the parties will present and be quizzed on what they are going to do.
we will judge that and cast the votes …
they have to speak english, they have to know something of our laws/values.

  11. Jude

Labour told us, in fact they insisted, “Only 13,000 Polish would arrive in the UK”

    They lied.

  12. it will all get sorted out in the war

  13. I buggered off troll from your thread , can you gracefully bugger off here
we’re talking about how we go forward as a country , not war .. pls go away , please !

  14. Civil war, not only in the UK, but across mainland Europe, is a possibility Troll.

Allowing hundreds of thousands more in, all different tribal mind-sets, who hated each other in their own third world crap-holes, will only escalate the problems, these people hated each other then, and hate each other now.

These third world backward people will still hate, and want each other dead, no matter what civilized country they happen to land up in.

As I said, Enoch Powell was not only right, he was a visionary.

  15. no Jude I will not.

My comment was on topic and not insulting. It is also not your thread.

A lot of the EU problems will get sorted out as the war expands greater in the EU. It is at war whether it wants to pretend it is or not as more bodies drop weekly from more and more “isolated incidents”.

They let the enemy in the gates. Invited them in via the Germans.

Thats how people who disagree should discuss things…. NOW kiss my ass!

  16. Mandelson… (shudder)

“Immigrants? We sent out search parties to get them to come… and made it hard for Britons to get work”

“the policy was designed to ‘rub the Right’s nose in diversity”

The Left own this particular pig.

So, asking us what are ‘we’ going to do about it now the horse has well and truly bolted, is to be quite frank… staggering.

  17. see later harri, not putting up with this ..
feel like you must have done last week ..
at least we’re adults .. can’t see Troll improving
his therapy on ATW is going nowhere !

  18. these people hated each other then, and hate each other now

In fairness, they hate and disrespect all of you too

  19. While there are certainly immigrants who hate and disrespect the west, there are many more who don’t.

  20. That is meaningless.

For every 100 of certain populations ( we are not talking about Estonians here ) that are let in there is an absolute certainty that there will be some significant amount that hate and despise all of you and all of your ways.

You are importing those who will burn your cities down.

    Why does anyone support this?

  21. //That is meaningless.//

You were implying that all or most of these immigrants hate their host society, and that’s incorrect.

  22. No I was not saying that

I am saying that all supporters of any of this immigration at this point are knowingly importing the very bad with any of the good.

It’s just not a debatable point in April 2017.

  23. 260 people murdered in France alone since 2015, but it’s no problem because not all immigrants hate the West,

    Noel –

It doesn’t matter if aliens from strange cultures don’t hate the West. Many still have little love or regard for what our people built.

Even if an alien lives the West, the stranger will still alter the culture simply by his presence. Just one drop of citrus will slightly alter a glass of milk. Just one alien will slightly alter the culture.

No, I like ours ways as they were. I don’t want to be enriched and I don’t want the diversified joy of not understanding what any of these tanned aliens are saying wgile walking down our roads.

We gain nothing from their presence but lose everything.

  24. why are we still talking about IMMIGRATION post Brexit?
we now have to work with the consequences of it
need a new word like RESIDENTS, legally entitled to be in the UK
that might be a helpful start ..

Guarantee you petem unless you move this debate on , still gonna be talking bout it
in 5 yrs, 10 years time, even though it has been curtailed .
You won the Brexit, has it sunk it yet ???

  25. jude

Take a train out to Heathrow or Gatwick.

I bet that you see that you are still adding to the problem every day.

When you’re in a hole, stop digging

  26. But they’re their to do the digging phantom . boom boom
you don’t add much to this debate either
just right-wing slogans repeated ad nauseum
dehumanizing crap , stop trotting those lines out maybe
ya walked into the hole, I’m trying to dig you out if it !!

  27. phantom, maybe I will just leave you there instead you seem to like the stink !!!

  28. Jude.

You are in Brighton & Hove, correct?

  29. yeppers the Red in a blue sea of despair 😉

  31. Noel Cunning

When you look at Labour, you can see it deserves to lose.
And when you look at the Conservatives, you can see they deserve to lose too.

Well said Noel, it’s a sorry state of affairs looking at the political parties in the UK at the moment. They all seem to be very much the same now. And not in a good way.

  32. Jude,

“Winning Brexit” will IMHO, not make too much of a difference to our (the U K’s) social problems with Labours planned misguided mass immigration ” come one, come all” past policy.

The “Muslim areas” are there, the vastly opposing cultures are slowly, but surely clashing, what can be done?, I have no idea, the rot appears to have set in, what I do know, is, appeasement has got no-one, nowhere.

    Now, Corbyn.

I listened to him today, he was rightly so, wailing about “class room sizes”, and ” this can’t go on”. What he didn’t mention, was, if you have hundreds of thousands of immigrants pouring into the country, (any country) one can assume that extra school places are required, Corbyn, of course fails to square that circle.

Mass immigration, without the required infrastructure, and a “plan B ” in case the social engineering experiment goes horrifically wrong, which it plainly has, and which the likes of Corbyn, and the rest of the government charlatans refuse to acknowledge, can only lead to tears, unrest, and divided, and dangerous societies.

  33. Harri,
I think many ATW alt-righters would be wretching over the side of the pier
here you’d see Guardian readers, mueseli eaters, unkempt haircuts, sandals, multi-everything
food from everywhere,Egyptian, Lebanese, Greek, Turkish , + all your Indians, Chinese, steak houses, pubs, clubs, LGBT, students, carnival, fiestas, charity events all languages, colours creeds, mosques, churches. temples , all getting along, rich/poor sea-side.
    My lib.left hometown, but a right-winger Nightmare ,
allan and peteM should in no way visit, they’d be sick!, it’d just be too much to take in 🙂

  34. harri

Are there noticeable effects on housing / housing prices / social housing

Every ” migrant ” that takes a social housing spot would seem to be denying that to a British person, since flats don’t grow on trees.

  35. Jude.

How long do you personally think it will be, before it’s 50%?

Census reveals third of Brighton and Hove residents have no link to UK

    14 Dec 2012

    http://www.theargus.co.uk/news/10109375.Census_reveals_third_of_Brighton_and_Hove_residents_have_no_link_to_UK/

And that was five years ago.

Jude, do you think, living in Britain, that this is socially healthy, or has any benefit, not only for social cohesion, but for the future?

  36. Harri, as I said above , it got way out of hand, this immigration post financial crisis.
you’ve offered a few ideas, which is more in a paragraph than others have in a year.
its a mess in many ways, inherited from labour, bit like the mess we inherited in 1997 from the Tories .. so we can play a blame game or heads down and sort it out ..

I think current law should be give an chance, the jails are full of muslims as you pointed out , ergo the judicial system is working, we got them on the radar .. short of porting every muslim up to detention centres runs by Allan, what to do ?
watch em , catch em , lock em up if they break the law ..
enjoy the culture, go shopping, visit and explore as before , but be more vigilant
Not gonna let the crazies ( small minority ) ruin it ..

    Phantom.

No secret, my brother is a successful property developer, but now, even with his enviable cash flow, he is thinking twice before signing off any new developments, to gain planning permission, the developer, has to literally, hand over, to the local council, at a minimum, one of the properties, completely free of charge, for social housing.

Two problems here, a) the private developer is giving away huge sums of private cash to local government, and b) why would anyone want to invest upwards of half a million pounds, to live next door to a family of Somalis, who got the high end property for free?

  38. Harri, the survey is skewed , we have so many students here, and shift workers from all over Europe, working in bars, hotels, tourism , food outlets , NHS, carehomes, dom care ..
The city is afloat, we tick over .. social problems are few, mostly people getting drunk at the clubs .. rape, violence , crime an all time low, so its working good.

Phantom that leading question of yours about denying white people homes is disgraceful
you a New Yorker .. the multi-cultural capital of the World, I am so disappointed in you !
as I observe you shift weekly ever further to the Right, adopting allan and pete’s postions.
    Shame on you ..

  39. Jude.

Unfortunately, a large percentage of those Guardian readers, are well insulated, well of Polly Toynbee’s, that live in well off areas of London.

I admit, where I live, I am probably far more insulated from any form of mass immigration, than one could possibly get.

But, one has to do the sums, look at the future, and for urban areas, Towns and Cities, it’s not looking rosy.

  40. jude

It has nothing to do with any whites or blacks or anyone

This is very much a zero-sum game, as it takes a lot of time and expense to build an apartment complex

Supporters of this ” migration ” are very much acting against the interest of your working class – or are the enemy of the working class. I have said this before – because the migrants will cut to the head of the housing line, denying the legitimate residents flats that they otherwise would have had.

  41. *well off

  42. Jude.

From that link on Brighton & Hove.

Sian Bradford, a senior research officer at the Office for National Statistics, said that it was difficult to analyse the data.

She added: “As a general trend, the more rural the area, the more people likely to consider themselves English.

I rest my case your honor there.

I am about as deep in the glorious English green & pleasant countryside, as one could wish for.

The only time I really come into direct contact with immigrants, European, legal, or otherwise, is when the motors need valeting.

    😉

    Precisely Phantom..

Colour is not the problem, that’s a lefty cop-out, it doesn’t matter if someone’s skin colour is bright purple, if their culture clashes with the host country, then it clashes. No good can become of it.

Jude, rightly so, and with all good intentions, would like answers to move forward, demanding the host country, with a thousand year history, is not the best way forward in my opinion.

  45. Phantom –

There’s a perennial “housing crisis” in the UK. Left politicians and commentators talk about it every day. They’re onto something, but like anyone who doesn’t understand basic economics, they wrongly analyse the problem and promote bad solutions.

UK house prices are insane. House price inflation has gone through the roof over the last quarter-century. Many young people cannot afford that first home. They have no hope of saving the deposit. If you live in or near London you can forget about owning a home unless you’re on a high salary.

But we have geniuses like Jeremy Corbyn who state on the one hand that immigration should be unlimited, and then complain about house prices. They’re too stupid to link higher demand with higher prices.

But it’s not only immigration of course. The money supply has hugely risen, so people close to the supply (who work in government and finance) can bid up prices for all goods.

But there’s the main driver of house price inflation, which is the planning system. It very tightly constrains the supply of development land. In fact the greatest cost item in any new home is the price of planning consent. By a long way.

Now I don’t mind. I want my country to remain green and pleasant. If that means immigrants can’t buy a home, tough. They can go squat outside jude’s yurt by the sea. jude and other commie extremists want the country concreted over.

These are the same people who say they are environmentalists. Whether Labour, Green or some oter band of headbangers, you will find that the people who call themselves environmentalists are the same people arguing for even more immigration.

And then they complain that classroom sizes are too large and NHS waiting times are a disgrace.

  46. UK house prices are insane. House price inflation has gone through the roof

Glen Eagles hotel in the middle of Harpenden was demolished last year, the developer built a series of high end apartments, they all sold before they were even completed, with an average price tag of £1.2 million.

    Insanity.

  47. And then they complain that classroom sizes are too large and NHS waiting times are a disgrace.

Of course, in the warped world of liberals, immigrant children do not need school places, and no immigrants ever get ill.

  48. Funny for someone who was leaving the thread Jude you sure made a lot of comments after you left……

ISIS at the very beginning of the immigration/refugee problem ALL of the countries on that side of the pond are having said FLAT OUT that they were going to send thousands of terrorist in along with the “immigrants”.

Well they kept their word. So far it’s been sporadic wait as more and more cells activate and more and more of you are gunned down or bombed.

9 out 10 immigrant/refugees could love your countries but that tenth one is there to kill you and your children.

They are at WAR with you… now you can accept that and change what has been going on, but you won’t not until the body count raises higher and higher.

  49. Jude.

Looking to the future of social cohesion, however misguided it might be by liberals. You have requested “answers & solutions”, what are yours?.

  50. Troll

You welcome immigration from bad, entirely unvettable cultures.

You are very much on the wrong side of this issue, bro.

  51. Troll.

Phantom has a very valid point, how can you possibly claim to be pro-immigration, whilst remaining as “non-racist” towards unfettered immigration into civilized western countries, from cultures intent on destroying their hosts?

How do you square that circle, religiously, and morally?.

  52. The immigrants must pay some taxes. Does anyone know how much by category?

If government is getting enough taxes from immigrants it should have the resources for additional services.

The key is the amount of taxes immigrants pay.

  53. The key is the amount of taxes immigrants pay.

If that was really the case, the UK alone, should be awash with tax money.

Of course, it’s all total bollocks.

  54. That most certainly is -not- the key.

The key is whether this population are ” net takers ” or ” net contributors ” after all the taxes and benefits are calculated.

Run the numbers for each group and get back to me.

  55. In the US, some lefties say that even welfare recipients are taxpayers because ” they pay sales tax ”

I hope we are not going down such a fraudulent road here.

Where are we at the end of the day net/net

  56. Harri, hi I have alluded to that above, in what i wrote

    as regards trouble:

“I think current law should be give an chance, the jails are full of muslims as you pointed out , ergo the judicial system is working, we got them on the radar .. short of porting every muslim up to detention centres runs by Allan, what to do ?
watch em , catch em , lock em up if they break the law ..”

as regards social cohesion, the ones that aren’t causing a problem,
need only encouragement and a standard to abide by as regards our values and customs
they’re doing fine in other words..
the problem is exaggerated and overblown to hysteria as per Daily Mail etc

    phantom
I still maintain you fallen for the “reds under the beds” syndrome of the 1930’s
and Hoover era, dr.strangelove puts pay to that , i maintain you’ve replace that falsity with another one ” Muhammad under the Mattress” .. its called a phobia bro
you’re a classic victim, fell for it hook, line & sinker
admitting it is 1/2 the battle 🙂

to another who shall remain nameless rule no:1 I don’t feed Trolls

  57. I’ve seen parts of Brussels and Marseilles and have not been impressed

  58. It doesn’t matter whether or not immigrants are net tax payers or takers (they’re takers). Either their presence here is overall good or not.

Economic contributions cannot be judged by an arbitrary tax take, because tax is always a debit. Someone’s economic output is of worth to customers and employers. Tax take is irrelevant.

  59. That’s also correct – the whites definitely brought money and wealth to the USA.

Was that good for the Indians?

  60. watch em , catch em , lock em up if they break the law ..”

I am very pro-immigrant, but you have to go through OUR process. Which is vetting and through the front door.

  63. Pete there is NO WAY Jude is A8, I believe he’s Percy.

  65. You said that you support immigration by Muslims, that they should be treated like anyone else or some other oul bullshit

I say that you can never vet them all properly. It is not possible at all.

Muhammad Atta would pass your test with ” flying ” colors.

  66. Jude in IMHO, is a nice guy, but is trapped between a rock and a hard place.

We know, this diversity stuff, is an unmitigated disaster, and can never, ever be anything else, but jude has some emotional, and liberal righteous connection to a wonderful multicultural utopia, which can never, ever be thus.

No matter, it will take us all down with it at the end of the day.

  67. on that we disagree, there are Muslims that can be vetted.

However there are Muslims from certain countries that should not be allowed in.

Like ANY country in the ME.

  68. Troll.

We are discussing Europe here, so, you can’t possibly be pro-immigration Vs anti-immigration, and not be shouted down as a racist, or bigot.

    Which one are you?

  69. Troll

That is a 180 degree reversal, congratulations.

Now from what countries would you allow them in

    Pakistan? Afghanistan? Indonesia? Kosovo? Russia?

    Where?

  70. Slightly on topic. Another Dr. in Michigan has been arrested for performing FGM.

Again we are talking about Europe, profiling is deemed as “racist”.

You are an American there, but a racist here.

No offence, but this is where liberalism has unfortunately led us too.

  72. You can’t vet the unborn, and all over Europe we’re seeing that “home-grown” second and third generation primitives are more prone to jihad then the previous generation.

Look, different tribes do not mix. Multicultural societies have not been a success, not anywhere and not at any time.

Can we just face facts for a change?

  73. Harri, ty, Its not rocket science though, the big cities around the world have always been epicentres of culture and therefore diverse by their very nature , rural are well, rural.
I ventured a few miles outa town to a night club once with a girl, the natives made us feel very uncomfortable, so I stay put, they don’t like strangers . so I geddit , englishman and his castle …
the jihadis get thru the net, several times in the last few years in Britain, more so on the continent ( access to guns is easier ) but listen I’m not gonna be complacent. If there are any sharp rises, detention centres run by Kommandant Allan start to be options on the table ..

PeteM, you finally used the term “home-grown” , at least now we can look at the challenges
and face these facts head on. What to do? , these “primitives” and I will use your terms comfortably have British Passports .. that’s where we begin ..
I try to punctuate with paragraphs , to make separate points .. that’s it ..will fix it better 🙂

  74. Pete Moore

“It doesn’t matter whether or not immigrants are net tax payers or takers (they’re takers). Either their presence here is overall good or not.”

If we are speaking about Eastern Europeans, many of them have businesses or work for others. They probably pay taxes on their businesses or through their employment. It matters because the government has more funds to spend on services.

You may not are for them. But I think it is good to have Eastern European plumbers, masons, child minders, shop assistants, etc. As David says above, the population would be falling without them.

There are many in the UK who dislike Eastern European immigrants because they work hard and eventually surpass some of the natives. It is similar in the US regarding Hispanics; they work hard, their children get educated and poor whites are still poor whites whose envy is expressed by ugly anti-immigrant words and actions.

  75. Phantom

“even welfare recipients are taxpayers because ” they pay sales tax ” Why is sales tax different than other types of tax in terms of revenue paid to the government?

In the UK the VAT is about 20% and that adds up to a large contribution to the treasury. For a full and accurate analysis of the economic contribution of welfare receivers or immigrants you cannot discount sales tax or VAT.

  76. detention centres run by Kommandant Allan start to be options on the table ..

Jude, Allan@ is more than capable of speaking for himself, but I think you misread his stance on immigrants, I have personally never read one single post by Alla@ which mentions detention camps for immigrants, what I believe his stance is, Africa for Africans, ME for Arabs, Israel for the Jews, and so on.

I see absolutely no problems with this, some cultures, along with Islamic ideology, is totally incompatible with the civilised West, as we see unfortunately the social mayhem occurring across the Europe, and beyond.

  77. Harri,
we’re just not living in that kinda world, we never have been and we never will be.
Its insane not to understand the fluctuations and globl patterns of travel, migration, asylum, study, labour ( in UK’s special case former members of colonies ) .
To look at the world map and try to draw boundriees and barriers with fixed immutable lines of race or religion in mind is nuts. Look at what we did with the French in large swathes of Africa/Middle East:- lines – straight lines to divide countries.. Its a joke man.
Who does he think he is …

  78. Jude,

In varying small limited numbers, socially, financially, and probably culturally, the host nations could cope, with the unconditional, unlimited mass entering year in and year out, social cohesion failure can be the only option.

Take schooling, housing, the welfare state, and the NHS as prime examples, they are overwhelmed. Saturation point to the UK’s infrastructure has not only been reached, but surpassed.

  79. Indeed Harri these are testing times. The drawbridge has gone up let’s see what can be done. We would not survive without all the work these people do in say NHS. but you knew that already !

  80. Jude.

There is no drawbridge which has gone up?

Not as I am aware anyway, it should, and needs to go up, but damage already done, horse already bolted and long gone.

As I said, the left own this particular pig.

  81. Jude.

I have to do the off now. I have a rather large log cabin summerhouse to erect.

    TTFN

  82. ooh I like log cabins a place for party, and maybe a lil place for a prayer
we do own this pig no doubt about it , but i confused re drawbridge
Brexit won , so that’s the end of immigration , did i miss something ( genuinely )

  83. Brexit won , so that’s the end of immigration , did i miss something ( genuinely )

Where does it say that jude?

    And we haven’t left yet.

    And, we are already full.

  84. Harri (superman)

have you finished erecting your large log cabin ?
