Decisions: decisions!

By Mike Cunningham On August 7th, 2017

So, do we believe in, and give credit to, a sector of the Deep State, with all its  ‘conclusive possibilities’; along with ‘ reports from intelligence agencies that describe Russian hackers discussing how to obtain emails from Mrs. Clinton’s server and then transmit them to Mr. Flynn via an intermediary.”?

Or do we shift our stance, and read the letter to the President from a group of former Intelligence people, inclusive of some NSA staffers, who state, fairly categorically, that they have conducted a forensic analysis of the ‘Leaked e-mails’ and can state that the documents were not ‘leaked’, but instead copied off the DNC server at a speed far higher than that possible through a remote ‘hack’.

So, thats it. Get the Deputy Atty. General to fire Mueller, haul President Trump up and either; impeach him immediately, or give him the the Congressional Gold Medal for ever doubting his word.

  1. Mike, is there a difference between the ‘Deep State’ and former ‘intelligence people?’

Or is the only distinction that the ‘Deep State’ are ‘intelligence people’ that say things that ATW Rightworld disagree with?

  2. The Alt Right discovered the term ” deep state ” in 2016, and thought that they were very clever.

They’ll keep using it so long as Alex Jones/Donald Trump remains in power.

    Speaking of which

Right-wing radio personality Alex Jones said Friday that the so-called Deep State is planning to assassinate President Donald Trump.

He and others on the far right have been accusing career government employees in the Deep State, particularily those who work in national security, of conspiring against Trump and his agenda. Far-right internet personality Mike Cernovich joined Jones Friday in predicting a coup against Trump in the next couple of months.

“They’re saying, ‘A month or two we’re going to kill the president, month or two we’re going to remove him,’” Jones said. “This is so sinister.”

  3. Intelligence has very little to do with the claims advanced in this post.

  4. Truth is lies, news is fake, vacation is work, crimes are not criminal, veterans didn’t serve like those who didn’t, no truth but the Donald.

Translate “Deep State’ as “Rule of Law” and you can see where these illiberal idiots are headed.

  5. Rule of Law?

    What crime has Trump committed?

    I can give you a list of Obamas’s, Holders, Lynch’s, Comey’s, Washedupshultz, the DNC’S, AND THE CLINTON’S.

Name me ONE that Trump has done. What crime has been committed? What CRIME initiated the SP?

  6. Um…. that’s not what this is new Deep State trope is about, Troll.

  7. By the way, Clinton lost. You should get try to move past that immutable fact.

  8. What concerns me Daphne is the Law. If the find a crime that Trump committed you will read me leading the pack for his prosecution.

The Clintons broke the Law, quite a few of them. They need to be prosecuted. Just because they lost they don’t get absolved.

The post is nonsense, but so much of everything is nonsense since a third of the country is foaming at the mouth with TDS.

If you defend Trump or point out the fact that this is the first special prosecutor has been appointed where there is no initial crime to investigate. That’s an abuse of the Law. Saying that I am labeled a TRUMPITEER…..

If Trump got locked up tomorrow, I wouldn’t shed a tear. I would Celebrate a President Pence though.

  9. You think that Clinton broke the law

You are not in a position to say that she definitely did

  10. ‘Deep State’ seems to be a rhetorical device used by those in the Trump camp who disagree with some investigatory processes.

  11. Phantom seek help

  12. Paul Deep State are Bureaucrats leaking. How is leaking part of any investigation?

The “deep state” are the PERMANENT Pencil Pushers that all our governments are infested with.

  13. Paul Deep State are Bureaucrats leaking.

Trump as POTUS leaking intelligence to a third party is ‘Deep State?’ Trump as POTUS claiming that Obama tapped his phone is ‘Deep State?’

I think that ‘Deep State’ is another of those ambiguous tropes much beloved of the Trump spinners who can attach it to anything governmental that they disagree with.

  14. The Trumpies are so cute.

They heard this term last election, they think that they’ve learned something profound, and they won’t shut up about it.

  15. The US conspiracy theorists stole the phrase from Turkey. It doesn’t refer to the permanent civil service, it suggests a conspiratorial state within a state.

  16. Paul you totally misunderstood my statement or I wasn’t clear.

    But your response is laughable.

Not as Laughable as Phantoms but Laughable.

  17. Why Troll, why not explain why?

  18. Yeah, I was reading round on it’s origins Reg. Here’s a few interesting pieces:

So far, this so-called “shadow government” is made up of at least 16 people who answer to the title of senior White House adviser and are installed in the departments of Health and Human Services, Defence, and Energy

    https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2017/03/trump-soviet-plan-deep-state

Trump meanwhile seems to have been busy installing his own internal ‘Deep Sate’

While President Trump has not moved to fill many jobs that require Senate confirmation, he has quietly installed hundreds of officials to serve as his eyes and ears at every major federal agency, from the Pentagon to the Department of Interior.

Unlike appointees exposed to the scrutiny of the Senate, members of these so-called “beachhead teams” have operated largely in the shadows, with the White House declining to publicly reveal their identities

    Drain the swamp!!

‘Deep State’ ‘Fake News’ ‘Alternate Facts’ ‘The Establishment’ ‘Globalists’ all seem to be central non specific staples of the Trump administration political lexicon.

  19. That there is an ‘Establishment’ and that there are ‘globalists’ is surely confirmed by all including those who are members of the Establishment and globalists themselves. Taking the US, what would be the Establishment? I’d start with organisations like the Council on Foreign Relations:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Council_on_Foreign_Relations

The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), founded in 1921, is a United States nonprofit think tank specializing in U.S. foreign policy and international affairs. It is headquartered in New York City, with an additional office in Washington, D.C. Its membership, which numbers 4,900, has included senior politicians, more than a dozen secretaries of state, CIA directors, bankers, lawyers, professors, and senior media figures.

Yes, that looks like it meets the criteria for ‘Establishment’ – see pictorial representation below:

    https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/2b/CFR-Interlocks-2004.jpg

    How about ‘globalists’?

Clearly globalists would include anybody in the CFR in the US, but there are many in the UK and Europe who are globalists, as opposed to nationalists, the latter being those who believe in the nation-state. Below is a globalist:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-18519395

The EU should “do its best to undermine” the “homogeneity” of its member states, the UN’s special representative for migration has said.

Peter Sutherland told peers the future prosperity of many EU states depended on them becoming multicultural.

He also suggested the UK government’s immigration policy had no basis in international law.

He was being quizzed by the Lords EU home affairs sub-committee which is investigating global migration.

Mr Sutherland, who is non-executive chairman of Goldman Sachs International and a former chairman of oil giant BP, heads the Global Forum on Migration and Development , which brings together representatives of 160 nations to share policy ideas.

In government and all levers of power and influence, people like Peter Sutherland prevail entirely. Anybody who disagrees is ‘googled’.

‘Alternate facts’ would be facts either not reported or skewed by the media organisations controlled by globalists because such facts would be detrimental to their agenda, current examples being the ‘benefits’ of 3rd-world invasion though the most egregious are 9/11, Iraq, Syria etc.

The ‘deep state’? take a look at the first two links. That is the ‘deep state’
