SWEET VIRGINIA

By Pete Moore On August 12th, 2017

I SEE that a torchlight march happened last night in Charlottesville, VA. Some say it was at the university, some that it was a march on a church. All I know is that it’s beautiful to see communities empowering themselves, eh? It’s like a work of art. Think of it as empowering street theatre.

I suspect that this won’t be the first #UniteTheRight march. A cat stays out of the bag when loosed, and the culture is becoming more provocative. Progressives and snowflakes can thank Left Wing/Marxist politicians, journalists and academics. They can thank themselves too. The media and antifa pushed the boundaries. They can’t complain when their opponents fill the space.

  1. The Right always did love an oul torchlight procession.

  2. I thought it was a video of the San Francisco Gay Men’s choir version of Candle In The Wind 😉

  3. Who doesn’t enjoy a good torchlight procession Reg?

    From ATW’s Gospel:

    https://www.rt.com/news/326715-ukraine-nationalist-torchlight-parade/

  4. It seems that some of my southern brethren have had enough of the erasure of our culture.
March on men of the South!

  5. There’s another rally this evening at the provocatively named Emancipation Park. (That name must go.) An armed militia is already in place, which is a good idea. Commies will show up and order must be maintained.

  6. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/aug/12/charlottesville-far-right-crowd-with-torches-encircles-counter-protest-group

Charles, specifically, what parts of US culture are being erased?

    Welcome back.

  7. Paul –

For the second time in six weeks, Charlottesville is bracing for a protest of its decision earlier this year to remove a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee from a downtown park. White nationalists, white supremacists and members of alt-right groups will gather in the city at noon Saturday for the Unite the Right rally to voice opposition to the decision and assert itself as a movement.

That downtown park was called Lee Park until its recent provocative renaming. The commies also want to remove the statue of the national hero. This is cultural genocide, no different from re-writing history book and doctoring photos. Well, more and more patriots have had enough of this Bolshevik bullshit.

No, don’t argue. If the British Army had done the same in Ireland you and your kind would have protested. Yes, you would have done, so don’t argue. Instead doff your cap and pay tribute to patriots defending their culture.

  8. I personally have no problem with either the names or statue as it’s part of the historical legacy of the US but I also have no problem with democracy:

    http://www.whsv.com/content/news/413027923.html

It’s not the first time that a statue has been removed by the US either:

    http://images.gawker.com/18k3u9ca870l9jpg/c_scale,fl_progressive,q_80,w_800.jpg

As for the torchlight processions, it seems that those in favour of maintaining historical legacy are somewhat miffed at having their campaign hijacked by ‘patriots’:

It is the duty of the Sons of Confederate Veterans to emulate the high moral standards of those who fought and died to protect their home land. We represent Southern Heritage NOT White Supremacy. People of all races, religions, and colors fought to defend their Southern homes in the War for Southern Independence,” added the statement. “Those who show up with torches and making inflammatory statements are in no way connected with or indorsed [sic] by the SCV. These people only serve to play right into the hands of those who would label us all as racists. In the end, they may do more to bring down monuments than the actions of our enemies.

    http://www.whsv.com/content/news/Sons-of-Confederate-Veterans-division-responds-to-torch-lit-protest-422823744.html

  9. We have the same problem in Dallas. Lee Park with it’s beautiful statue of General Lee was dedicated by FDR himself in 1936. The blacks now have it in the cross hairs. I suppose that’s an improvement over shooting white police officers!

And thanks Paul. Glad to be back.

  10. Any and all actions, without reservation, that turn Liberal bullies into ranting, drooling maniacs is 100% OK in my book!

  11. lol PeteM you’re revved up with this , well Mary?
trouble is this has beeen done before Nuremberg 1936 for example .
what you regard as cultural advancement , we on Left regard as going backwards to dimly lit times.
Blood and Soil, OMG, you have to laugh, that was exactly the cries at the Hitler rallies:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_and_Soil
can’t wait for the Late Show to rip this one ..lmao

  12. jude –

Thanks for the heads up on Nuremberg. I’ll give you a call when I need to know the bleedin’ obvious. I spent a couple of days exploring Nuremberg’s parade sites. It’s very sad now, like being in the Roman Forum. It’s magnificent, yet everywhere is a reminder of a once-great civilisation.

Still, commies are being punched in Charlottesville. Join me now:

“I wish I were in Dixie, hooray! hooray!”

  13. It seems there were other similarities with the Bohemian Corporal’s lot Jude:

The New York Times and Washington Post reported that the crowd chanted “You will not replace us” and “Jew will not replace us” during the event.

    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-40909547

  14. Still, commies are being punched in Charlottesville. Join me now:

“I wish I were in Dixie, hooray! hooray!”

    Celebrating violence Pete? Naughty boy

Is it only leftie violence you get all uppity about then?

  15. Paul –

The media and antifa legitimised political violence. You support political violence. None of you have any right to decry commies getting punched.

By the way, have you noticed that when patriots protest, they do it at the weekend? That’s because they have jobs.

  16. Pete,

Still, commies are being punched in Charlottesville. Join me now:

I think you’ve found your man of violence

good luck with your version of cultural enrichment

Mercy trumps over Judgement , ergo you delightful fellas will always be bottom-feeders 🙂

quite so Paul, poor Virginia, what have the done to deserve this assault?
Its an embarrassment , Trump will of course not condemn any trouble
just call it locker room banter on display with a few torches/bonfires – (UVF?)

Disgusting that the black/gay/hispance folks gotta hide once more for fear of being lynched
is that really what you support charles ? Don’t reckon so

  17. In certain situations I absolutely support political violence as I have said and been condemned for here many many times.

So, again, is it only lefty violence you get all uppity about?

  18. Isn’t it amazing how similar the first few rows of the procession are to a cover of a Watchtower or one of those Jehovah Witness mags? (Although the Watchtower always includes a few token blacks). It’s like a painting, and the guy on the right in the second row is straight off theose magazine covers.

A case of life imitating art yet again. Bad art and low life admittedly, but still..

  19. Bad art and low life admittedly

    Outstanding Noel 🙂

  20. Paul –

Punching commies is never wrong. But look, you look created this. This is how they came to be in Charlottesville:

    – “We’re removing your statue”
    – “Please don’t. We like it”
    – “Fascist”
    – “Ok, if that’s how you want it ..”

Soros’ little gang didn’t have to be there. If they left the patriots to have their rally then there’d have been few headlines. But they just can’t bring themselves to leave others alone, can they?

  21. Punching commies is never wrong

So you are celebrating violence? Interesting.

    – “We’re removing your statue”
    – “Please don’t. We like it”
    – “Fascist”
    – “Ok, if that’s how you want it ..”

    Ummmmmm, actually it wasn’t:

On Monday night, the Charlottesville City Council voted 3-2 to move the Robert E. Lee statue out of Lee Park. Following that vote, council voted unanimously to rename Lee Park.

Is violently opposing a democratically expressed will fascism?

  22. Paul –

No-one violently opposed the council decision. Patriots went to the park to protest peacefully.

Now you lot violently protested democracy, at a great, bloody cost. You couldn’t get your own way with the ballot box, so you murdered people. So do excuse me waving away your claptrap.

No, I’m not generally in favour of political violence. Conservatives and patriots have reason and right on their side. Our philosophies are rooted in the natural order of the world, not crackpot social sciences. We really do prefer to talk, but punching commies is also never wrong.

  23. PeteM must have passed you by, but the natural order, Gods Order ( Him indeed )
chose the jews to prep em for the Messiah, then extend that gift to us the gentiles
so that’s the plan for us, dearest, and it has nothing to do with what your peddling my friend. The vision is a coming together one creed, one people, saved sinners from every color and background, united under one King, who is coming back.
Now that’s a philosophy rooted in the natural order of things, it demands allegiance.
Avoid it at your peril, seriously !
Blood and Soil, my arse .. raise your mind above earthly things or the bitterness of disappointment will overcome you ..

  24. Patriots went to the park to protest peacefully

    No they didn’t.

Now you lot violently protested democracy, at a great, bloody cost. You couldn’t get your own way with the ballot box, so you murdered people. So do excuse me waving away your claptrap.

    So predictable.

You see what you don’t do Pete is import 100,000 rifles to arm a private army because you don’t agree to the democratic process. You don’t then capitulate to that threat of terrorism by going against the democratically expressed will of the electorate by rewarding it with its own artificial state with an artificial majority and then say that this is some kind of ‘democracy’

No, I’m not generally in favour of political violence

Good, neither am I but I’m sure that like me there are slao instances when you think it can be justified. Welcome to the justified political violence club, good to have you.

Punching commies is also never wrong

Speaking of wastrels getting punched I’ve just read on social media that Richard Spencer’s been scooped in Charlottesville. I wonder will he cry on his first night in the communal holding cell?

  25. Paul –

It’s a simple equation. When commies and blacks protest, it’s just commies and blacks (smashing up the neighbourhood). When patriots protest, all’s good until the commies arrive.

Look, conservatives and conservative opinion is being purged – from the media, from facebook, twitter, youtube and elsewhere. Far Left corporates now sack employees for expressing factually correct opinions. Wherever patriots go, violent commies (paid by Soros) go to disrupt. The inevitable result is pushback. Decent people have had enough of degenerates and their sick ways. Order will be restored.

  26. Pete, you don’t have to excuse your endorsement and justification of political violence to me.

    I understand

  27. Disgusting that the black/gay/hispance folks gotta hide once more for fear of being lynched
is that really what you support charles ? Don’t reckon so

Of course I don’t support that straw man. You mention the gays. They have their parades ad nauseum, with the police dressing up their police cars in rainbow colors. Can’t men of the South march peacefully without being turned upon?

We should have picked our own damned cotton!

  28. yes charles, to both

  29. Yes Charles, they probably drove at speed into the counter – protesters in order to prevent being turned upon.

    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-40912509

    One person has reportedly died.

America seems to be tearing itself apart.

  30. This from Knoxsville Tennesse, take me there Charles , on next plane mate .
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Pursuit
This the America I know and Love

  31. So BLM can march with police protection, but whites can not. Got it.

  32. charles hi,
that’s a local issue , that is politics , I’d want the mayor to answer that too.
could it be that the rally people said we have our own protection.
I dunno , passions are running high, and you got a point there dude .
    Needs answering ..

  33. The lack of commie self awareness is astounding.

For decades they’ve preached hate, severe hate for opponents. Those they hate now hate them back, but they’re surprised by this.

The media encouraged violence against Trump supporters, but commies are surprised when they get punched back.

They censor and silence opponents, and are surprised when those opponents say “f- you”.

The Left created this. They made it inevitable.

  34. No comments about a car being driven at speed into a group of counter protesters then?

The driver was probably the wrong colour of skin / religion to warrant a comment.

  35. So you are celebrating violence?

Pete is celebrating the right to retaliation in one’s defence, and it should be axiomatic by now that, when dealing with ‘liberals’, get the retaliation in first because the ‘liberals’ always intend violence.

Anyway, here’s what ‘liberals’ really mean, from Michael Moore who is actually admitting that the working people of the rust-belt states that he supposedly champions are to be scrapped:

    https://twitter.com/MMFlint/status/896405382897258498?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.breitbart.com%2Flive%2Flive-wire-charlottesville-protest-turns-violent-as-state-of-emergency-declared%2F

Trump’s America: The last days of White rule. It’s always a bitch to have to give up power you’ve held for 300 years

  36. Paul 855

Neither the demonstrators nor the counter demonstrators are very representative of America

I wouldn’t make the story more important than it is

  37. Paul McMahon, on August 12th, 2017 at 9:21 PM Said:

No comments about a car being driven at speed into a group of counter protesters then?

The driver probably panicked at seeing that he’d inadvertently driven near a procession of crimainally insane, and then decided that getting out of the car would be a bad idea as he’d be beaten and shot – obviously having seen Belfast footage.

  38. Yeah, ‘probably’

  39. No comments about a car being driven at speed into a group of counter protesters then?

It’s always amusing when an IRA man reaches for his posie. Yes, I have a few comments –

    1) Was it a Mustang or a Dodge Challenger? It’s difficult to tell, but these American motors never could brake or take corners.

    2) It was an unmanly act. A commie should be punched.

    3) It was less messy than an IRA car bomb.

  40. I’m not and have never been an IRA man Pete but it is amusing when the ultra right here use IRA violence to try to mask Rightworld violence. 🙂

Obviously such a potentially fatal aggressive act was only somehow done in defence as Rightworld don’t do violent aggression.

Now, if the driver had been brown skinned or Muslim……..

  41. Backing up a bit but the reason for the gathering(s) is the intended destruction of statues and monuments of Confederate personalities. Is there any specific reason or maybe something in the penumbra of the Constitution that prevents whites favourable to the retention of these statues and monuments from marching to show their allegiance/opinion?

  42. Obviously such a potentially fatal aggressive act was only somehow done in defence as Rightworld don’t do violent aggression.

Sorry, that should read fatally aggressive act after a person was murdered when the ‘patriot nationalist’ drove the car into the group of counter protesters at high speed.

  43. Paul –

Your hatred is misplaced. Nationalism is the ideology of peace. But you were asked a question by Allan:

Is there any specific reason or maybe something in the penumbra of the Constitution that prevents whites favourable to the retention of these statues and monuments from marching to show their allegiance/opinion?

Remember that you’re a man, be polite and answer the question head on.

  44. You think that driving into a car into a crowd at speed is peaceful Pete?

I’m sure that you or the Aberdonian obsessive knows as much as an Irishman in the Basque Country about prevention in the US Constitution but off the top of my head I’d say no which is probably why they weren’t prevented.

  45. Pete’s guys have killed tonight, but we should probably just “Think of it as empowering street theatre.”

“One person has died and 19 others were injured when a car rammed a crowd of people opposing a far-right rally in the US state of Virginia, police say.”

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-40912509

And let’s be clear, these guys are fascists. “Alt-Right” is a distraction.

  46. A police helicopcter hs crashed near to the Charlottesvile demo. Trump has tweeted his condolences, but none for the family of the victim of his fascist supporters.

  47. No doubt the killer fascist car driver will be a Rightworld hero within 24 hours.

“Misguided patriot” etc. “But whadabout” etc.

  48. This thread is a train wreck.

Charlottesville is under a state of emergency because of Richard Spencer’s tiki torch alt-right Bro brigade last night. The nazis, white supremacists and militia groups joined in this morning to bring even more violent chaos to the city.

Trump said “We must remember this truth: No matter our color, creed, religion or political party, we are ALL AMERICANS FIRST.”

He said this to the people flying the flags of a bloody slave confederacy and a vanquished genocidal Third Reich.

    His base voters.

  49. Picture show the fascists carrying a nice mix of pro-slavery confederate and nazi flags.

As Pete says: “Think of it as empowering street theatre.”

  50. This domestic disaster must increase the odds of Trump ordering a “pre-emptive” strike on North Korea.

  51. The organiser of the fascist march “condemns” the car-killer:

“The organizer of today’s rally that drew hundreds of white nationalists and various extremists to Charlottesville said he disavows the violence that eroded it. According to AP, Jason Kessler said in an interview Saturday evening that whoever drove a car into a group of counter-protesters “did the wrong thing.” He said he was saddened that people were hurt. Kessler is a local blogger and activist who described the event as a pro-white rally.”

    http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-08-12/caught-tape-car-plows-virginia-crowd-multiple-injuries

  52. Peter, it won’t happen. He’s much more likely to tangle with Venezuela to crank up his abysmal poll numbers.

On NK, nothing is happening militarily, none of the 150,000 US family members are being evacuated, no change in protocol from our bases in SK or nearby.

Trump and Kim Jong Un are just talking shit.

  53. Kessler should have his little pussy nazi ass beat to a pulp for creating this god awful mess.

Trump supporters are the worst people.

  54. Do you know why Trump didn’t categorically condemn the alt-right, neo-nazis, KKK, white supremacists and militias today?

Because his 37% approval rate would have tanked into the teens if he abandoned his base.

  55. Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe Sends A Message To Nazis/White Supremacists: ‘There Is No Place For You In America

    http://uproxx.com/news/charlottesville-violence-terry-mcauliffe/

Go home. You are not wanted in this great commonwealth. Shame on you. You pretend that you are patriots, but you are anything but a patriot. You want to talk about patriots, talk about Thomas Jefferson and George Washington, who brought our country together. Think about the patriots today, the young men and women, who with wearing the cloth of our country.

  56. Trump has finally expressed condolences to the family of the young woman killed by his nazi supporters. “So sad!”

  57. A year ago, Hillary warned that the white supremacists would be emboldened by a Trump presidency:

    https://twitter.com/bengoldacre/status/896521833020653568

  58. Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator John McCain (R-AZ) released the following statement today on the white supremacist attack in Charlottesville, Virginia:

“Our Founders fought a revolution for the idea that all men are created equal. The heirs of that revolution fought a Civil War to save our nation, conceived in liberty and dedicated to that revolutionary proposition.

“Nothing less is at stake on the streets of Charlottesville, Virginia, where a violent attack has taken at least one American life and injured many others in a confrontation between our better angels and our worst demons.

“White supremacists and neo-Nazis are, by definition, opposed to American patriotism and the ideals that define us as a people and make our nation special.

“As we mourn the tragedy that has occurred in Charlottesville, American patriots of all colors and creeds must come together to defy those who raise the flag of hatred and bigotry.”

  59. Pete Moore

All I know is that it’s beautiful to see communities empowering themselves, eh? It’s like a work of art. Think of it as empowering street theatre.

I don’t know if I consider it ‘beautiful’ and ’empowering’ to see people carrying Nazi flags and KKK flags on a march. You’re starting to sound more like Allen everyday Pete.

  60. The driver charged with murder was from way out of town, in Ohio.

I believe that many others, from both sides of the protest, were from outside the local area as well.

I do not know Charlottsville, but I have driven past it. A beautiful countryside.

  61. Pretty sure that people giving Nazi salutes on the streets would have been executed during the second world war ?

  66. Jude.

    Who is “us”?.

  67. what an interesting thread, kinda twisted, kinda wrong, and kinda right.

I’ve been quit for a couple of days. My girls were out of town, I thought I would have a nice day of sitting and arguing with you people, but instead It’s been two days of pain or medication and yesterday the pain was enough to take the medication. Oh well It is what it is.

I first want to address this statement:

Paul McMahon, on August 12th, 2017 at 6:02 PM Said:

In certain situations I absolutely support political violence as I have said and been condemned for here many many times.

So, again, is it only lefty violence you get all uppity about?

Political Violence is an outrage period stop no debate, whether it comes from the left, the right, the middle, the side, etc etc.

This is an internal fight inside the democrat party the right has nothing to do with it.

Neo Nazi’s, racists, Antifa, and the BLM for the most part are all a card carrying democrats. This fight is an internal fight of factions inside the democrat party.

The loons on the right tend to stock pile food and arms and don’t really cause a problem until they stop paying taxes and start targeting government buildings.

This is being portrayed as left right when it is really left vs left. All racists are Democrats. This tag Alt-Right the alt-right are the democrats that voted for Trump they are not right wingers.

Trump carried Pa, Ohio, and every other union strong hold except where Minorities are the majority. Half of Trumps votes came from Democrats. That is your alt right.

This attack on our heritage is an orchestration of the left and the kickback from it is from inside their own ranks. Both the KKK and BLM are Democrat organizations.

I would say let the two clash it out except that behavior is unacceptable and innocents will be hurt. The Left under Obama started this crap attacking our History as part of reparations. Problem is half their base are redneck southern crackers.

Now before you all go sideways understand I support the Statues of Lee, and the Generals of the South, I support the Confederate Flag. These are part of our history, a very important part.

However I am a Yankee through and through. The Mason Dixon Line IS the Pennsylvania border. The Greatest Campaign in the Civil War was Sherman’s March to the Sea.

To view a man and judge them on their color of their skin is one of the most disgusting ill-informed notions that has ever existed. ALL PEOPLE ARE CREATED EQUAL!

When you see stories like this it is all pablum, spin, bullshit, framed in a way to hide the truth. The truth is the Left follow a philosophy of fascism. They Shut down discussion, they exploit racial differences, and the use the power of government and violence to force people to agree with their views.

When you cobble groups that hate each other together and use them all to subvert others, sometimes you get internal clashes. Which is exactly what this is. One set of Democrats fighting another set of Democrats.

  68. Political Violence is an outrage period stop no debate

No, not period, stop or no debate. Political violence is a common reality of life.

Neo Nazi’s, racists, Antifa, and the BLM for the most part are all a card carrying democrats

And you can definitively prove that?

When you see stories like this it is all pablum, spin, bullshit, framed in a way to hide the truth. The truth is the Left follow a philosophy of fascism. They Shut down discussion, they exploit racial differences, and the use the power of government and violence to force people to agree with their views

This isn’t ‘pablum, spin, bullshit’. Charlottesville Council voted democratically to remove the statue and rename the park, (which I personally disagree with), and the far right were rallied from all over the US to converge there resulting in this young woman being murdered by a neo Nazi in an act of domestic terrorism.

And to add to this your guy in the WH is coming in for cross party condemnation because he doesn’t have the balls to specifically condemn this act of terrorism. As your countrywoman Daphne states above:

Do you know why Trump didn’t categorically condemn the alt-right, neo-nazis, KKK, white supremacists and militias today?

Because his 37% approval rate would have tanked into the teens if he abandoned his base.

  69. No, not period, stop or no debate. Political violence is a common reality of life.

Just because it is common doesn’t it make it right or justifiable.

And you can definitively prove that?

    yes

They didn’t put the vote to the people a Leftist Council decided. Paul in the US Neo-Nazi’s are the KKK. They are White Supremacists. They are Democrats. Half the people that voted for Trump were Democrats.

  70. Just because it is common doesn’t it make it right or justifiable

Political violence can at times be absolutely justified.

Troll, the system of representative democracy in the US means that democratically elected officials represent the people but ‘the people’ didn’t elect the POTUS either and it wasn’t a ‘Leftist Council’, the vote for removal was 3:2.

Troll, I’m asking you to prove your claims above to me definitively not say that neo Nazis are the KKK and that they have a historical connection with the Dems. That’s the seven degrees of separation theory that you’re venturing into Pete M

  71. Bollocking edit button.

Venturing into Pete Moore territory there. Show me evidence where Richard Spence, Jason Kessler, James Fields et al are Dems are you may beging to start to convince.

It’s a disgrace that your man in the WH can’t specifically condemn the terrorist murder of this young woman.

  72. begin to start to convince

  73. The neo nazis are wicked but the antifa and all of their sympathizers occupy the same moral place

Charlottesville is a white majority city whose elected representatives chose to move the statues. That would not have been my decision, but it was their decision. Outsiders from Ohio NYC, CA and elsewhere have no legitimate voice in the matter

  74. Why do you think the WH guy hasn’t specifically condemned this Phantom?

Do you think Daphne is correct above?

  75. I think that the comments that the alt right/white supremacists are important parts of the Trump base – and that this has helped shape Trump’s comment –are unfortunately correct

  76. Paul Nazi’s and the KKK are the same, both are Democrats no matter you or they call themselves. Will I sit here and list the thousands of pieces of proof that exist and that you’ve already seen? I think not, now you can say that means I can’t prove it but just as you deny they are you’d be just as wrong.

The KKK are and have always been an arm of the democrat party. Anyone who says different doesn’t know American History. The Nazi’s in America are the KKK without hoods. They share the same mailing list.

In world history Nazi’s Are Socialist White Supremacists. Both Socialism and White Supremacy are tenants of the Left NOT the Right.

I see no color when I look at people. Each man woman and child are judged on their behavior, NOT the Color of their skin. Above all else the philosophical cornerstone of the Conservative Right is All Men are Created Equal.

Trump won the Union Vote, it gave him the states and the regions he needed to Win. So yes a third of his base are Democrats that have been driven to outrage by their own parties catering to both the black minority and the anti-work environmentalist wackos. Union Thugs need jobs. The party in the catering of the wacko’s have destroyed employment in the Union Job pool.

What we witnessed in Charlottsville was a clash between two parts of the Democrat base.

  77. Trump did not win the union vote. No credible source claims that he did. , Like Reagan, he won a lot more union votes than Republicans normally get – which was the difference. Clinton’s union household margin was small, which killed her in Pennsylvania Ohio etc

Repeating that the KKK/Nazis/white supremacists Dems convinces no one, and destroys your credibility on this stuff. You are parroting Republican RNC disinformation here.

KKK/Nazis are not only not Democrats, they would probably like to kill all the Democrats if they could

This is a fairly small, but dangerous subset of America, and we had better talk straight about them, as we should talk straight about the criminal antifa black lives matter/cop killer groupie movement, etc

  78. Phantom – on those ‘white supremacists’, do you reckon that they wish to have blacks, browns, Mexicans etc all around them over whom they can be supreme?

I am a white superiorist because whites are superior but I don’t want any of these non-whites around me, near me, or in my country.

It looks as though the flood of the 3rd-world garbage is coming to a halt for the moment – the criminal enterprise is under threat from the Libyan coastguard:

    http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/08/13/german-ngo-suspends-taxi-service-mediterranean-libya-coast/

The German NGO Sea-Eye has suspended operations in the Mediterranean Sea citing “security” after Libya blocked its coast to European ‘search and rescue’ ships.
The pro-open borders charity wrote on Sunday it would suspend ferrying migrants from North Africa to Europe.

“The reason for this is the changed security situation in the western Mediterranean after the Libyan government had announced an indefinite and unilateral expansion of its territorial waters, combined with an explicit threat to private NGOs,” Sea-Eye explained.

Two weeks ago, Italian authorities confiscated the Iuventa, a SAR ship operated by German NGO Jugend Rettet, on suspicion of conducting “clandestine immigration” and contacting people smugglers. One week later, the Italian government released evidence corroborating the allegations.

Italian prosecutor Ambrogio Cartosio said: “The evidence is serious. We have evidence of encounters between smugglers who have accompanied illegal immigrants to the ‘Iuventa’, and members of the crew.”

Criminals, but they’re getting money from somewhere.

  79. Troll, I asked you to convince me of your claim by proffering definitive proof and as I guessed your chanting that the Dem’s historical connections to the KKK doesn’t do that.

As I said, show me evidence where Richard Spence, Jason Kessler, James Fields et al are Dems are you may begin to start to convince although I suspect you can’t as all three are solidly Trumpeteers. For example, Democrats who aren’t in Congress don’t tend to pose for photos with Republican Congressmen:

    http://lawnewz.com/exclusive/exclusive-republican-congressman-posed-with-white-supremacist-who-organized-charlottesville-rally/

And the Dems don’t tend to use white nationalist rallies to recruit members:

    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/jun/05/portland-alt-right-rally-republican-recruit-james-buchal

Refrut them and try and convince me if you will but you need hard evidence.

What’s your opinion on your guy in the WH not specifically condemning this neo Nazi terrorist incident?

  80. This thing in Charlotte exploded quite quickly. Trump doesn’t have his head quite round it yet. I think Trump’s “condemning all violence” statement comes more from a lack of experience than wanting to appease white supremacists.

  81. I disagree Charles.

I’ve seen this equivocation many times before when British unionists in Ireland are challenged to condemn specific violent acts it’s the stock answer.

Besides, Trump is surrounded by PR people and press advisers. A day has passed and h should be well on his game by now.

  82. Well, you may be right Paul. It sounds like you have some experiences to back up your feeling.

Trump may be surrounded by PR people, but he sure doesn’t listen to them!

And may I say I was wrong about this bunch. They are using my Southern heritage to push their own agenda. Like Phantom, I would not have voted to move the statues, but this incident has moved far beyond the original story.

  83. Well said, Charles.

Those people are not your people. They don’t give a damn about the statues or have a genuine interest in southern heritage. They are not conservatives. They fly the flags of radical hate.

  84. Trump may be surrounded by PR people, but he sure doesn’t listen to them!

I think that’s the basis of a lot of the complaints about the Trump Presidency Charles . Trump’s ego and brashness seem to think that he knows best on everything and consequently WH staff seem to go quicker than a sailor’s pay packet in Amsterdam.

And may I say I was wrong about this bunch. They are using my Southern heritage to push their own agenda

You’re not the only Southerner to feel that way Charles. From yesterday:

  85. There has been a movement to demonize Southern/Confederate heritage, to refer to Robert E Lee and all who served under him as ” traitors”. This is an entirely false rewriting of history, and it is entirely at odds with the reconciliation among Americans that had been so painstakingly put in place by Lincoln, Grant, and the Union leaders of that time.

This demonization of the South has aided and abetted the neo Nazis, and I condemn it.

America was founded and built by white supremacists. “Liberals” (radical communists) are the cuckoos in the nest. They need to leave.

I do enjoy the Left overturning decades of rhetoric. They’ve been saying for a long time that the US was founded and built on slavery and white supremacism. Then all of a sudden – bang, no it was built by the fluffy left all along.

  88. Trump’s refusal to condemn the nazis at Charlottesville is totally understandable. They are a core element of his base, and they have responded with warm words of praise:

“Trump comments were good,” one poster on the neo-Nazi website The Daily Stormer wrote. “He didn’t attack us.”

Of course he didn’t. His right-hand man Steve Bannon is an avowed white nationalist.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-40918466

  89. Governor McAuliffe said the words that Trump sould have said, that any previous POTUS wuld have said, and in doing so showed the man up for what he is, a no-onscience jerk who has stowed the fires of race hatred to help hmself get elected, and cannot afford to alienate an important part of his base, even when they are self-avowed nazis shouting racist and anti-semtiic slogans and waving swastika flags.

  90. McMaster calls it right, unlike his boss and a few hereabouts:

“WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump’s national security adviser on Sunday minced no words and clearly labeled Saturday’s deadly car attack in Charlottesville, Virginia, as terrorism.”

    http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/nsa-mcmaster-charlottesville-course-it-was-terrorism-n792196?cid=sm_npd_nn_tw_ma

  91. Steve Bannon is not a white nationalist. Let’s not lie.

Trump condemned the Right Wing violence because he condemned both sides. Given that they didn’t start it, I think he’s been too kind to the extremist Left Wingers. McAuliffe was asked to condemn commie violence and declined to do so. But then he is in a party increasingly under extremist influences.

The Left needs to look at itself. It has lived on hate for too long. It can dial it back or expect the hatred to be returned.

  92. Matthew d’Ancona nails it, and nails Trump:

“Later he condemned “this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides – on many sides”. The repetition is a Trumpian tic, and often, as in this case, psychologically revealing. Instead of denouncing explicitly the white nationalists responsible for the bloodshed, the president took craven refuge in moral equivalence and evasion. Only last week he threatened a distant dictator with “fire and fury”. Yet, confronted with homegrown bigotry and its violent consequences, he dons the kid gloves of a politician anxious not to upset the militant wing of his base…

When masked inadequates give the Nazi salute and yell “Heil Trump!”, he dare not disown them. Instead, he disgraces himself and the presidency with a stream of banalities that only emphasise his aversion to stating the truth – a very obvious truth in this case. Against stiff competition, it is the clearest evidence to date that he is unfit for the great office he holds…”

  93. Everything is “white supremacy” to the idiot children of the Left. But when you have actual white supremacists marching, it’s a pretty easy call to condemn and disavow.

But not for this president. He is a fool and a coward.

  94. Steve Bannon is not a white nationalist.

    LOL

  95. Trump condemned the Right Wing violence

    He did?

Well, to be fair to the jerk, that’s more than you or any of your fellow-Rightworlders hereabouts have done.

  96. The woman who was murdered by a nazi thug Trump supporter yesterday:

“The woman who died when a car rammed into a group of people protesting against a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville was named on Sunday as Heather Heyer, a 32-year-old legal assistant with a law firm in Virginia, who repeatedly championed civil rights issues on social media.”

  97. It’s almost as if Buckley knew what he was talking about when he threw these people out of the party…

Washington State University’s College Republican’s president was at the nazi torch march.

  98. “They carried torches and chanted hateful slogans against the black, Jewish, immigrant, and LGBTQ communities. A car ploughed into the crowd. A 32-year-old woman was murdered and 19 protesters were injured. And the US President, Donald Trump, made a shamefully calculated statement condemning the violence “on many sides.”

Trump was right that there are “sides” though: there are the bigots who shouted, “hail Trump!” on one side inciting hatred and violence, and the anti-racist counter-protesters who dared to rally in opposition.”

I would venture a guess that it’s pretty important now, Phantom. I do agree with you though. These people are not very representative of America, although I doubt if the family of the murder victim really care about that.

Some of the comments here have been silly, some stupid, some outrageous and some highly predictable (Hi Allan). Troll’s brief comments, although I disagree with his ‘facts’, further confirm that these cretins are not representative of America, as he has constantly and consistently condemned racism on these pages, and I do believe that the majority of Americans feel this way.
But Pete Moore really should be ashamed of himself (he won’t be, of course). His comments have been a long list of weak excuses for what happened. Rather than outright condemn the murderer and the murder, he has instead blamed the counter-protestors for what happened! Apart from his boring, predictable, “Oh, but what about the IRA…” nonsense, his comments about the type of car and it’s braking power are disgusting, given the outcome. Pete has suggested before that other commenters take a break from the site. Perhaps he should take his own advice for once, rather than foisting it on others.

  106. Seimi

Hope all is well. I would like it if you wrote more.

And, I would think that these neo-Nazis cause an especially great anger among most white southerners. The racists do not speak for them. If they marched in Marietta GA I believe they would get just as hostile reaction as they would get in New York City.

  112. I see reports ( from far right places ) claiming that the black racist and ” anti fa ” stalked and attacked the neo nazi / alt right demonstrators.

If true, this should be prosecuted aggressively, as the other violence will be prosecuted.

If part of the chain of events that led to the auto attack, that also should lead to heavy charges against antifa, etc.

Again, antifa has a long rap sheet of criminal violence directed at people that they don’t like.

  113. Of course the far right would never lie about such a thing. Just ask the ‘mentally unbalanced man with no interest in politics’ and ‘yeah, but did Trump know she was married?’ guys here.

  114. Seimi,

It’s hilarious that people here, who only a short month or two ago were condemning Jeremy Corbyn for not specifically condemning IRA violence – instead condemning all violence – are now content for Trump to condemn violence on all sides, rather than specifically condemn the murder of this young woman by a white supremacist terrorist.

Double standards on ATW? Surely not.
    Well said Seimi.

  115. Paul

Antifa have a very long history of criminal violence.

On this site, they have bragged about the use of violence, well before violence took place.

  116. Phantom,

I suspect that those ‘far right places’ are looking for some kind of excuse / justification for what happened on Saturday. If ATW’s far right are anything to go by when trying to diminish their guy’s nefarious acts, I’d find them difficult to believe.

This thread is about a piece of ’empowering street theatre’ where a young woman was murdered in an act of neo Nazi domestic terrorism. To bring up past alleged antifa crimes ala ‘one’s as bad as the other’ when one is clearly not as bad as the other is a Trumpesque cop out and about as helpful to the debate as speaking about Timothy McVeigh, Eric Rudolph or Jerad Miller.

  117. I am not saying that smashing heads/windows are as bad as killing someone with a motor vehicle.

But I am saying the murder by vehicle does not excuse any other violence that happened there. If the worst neo nazi that ever lived was hit by some antifa they should be prosecuted heavily

  118. That is ” if the worst neo nazi that ever lived was attacked by some antifa ”

The purpose of antifa, in Dublin, Seattle, or Charlottesville, is to attack first. They’ve said it, over and over, including on these pages. It’s hardly a conspiracy theory to point this out.

  119. The democratic decision made by Charlottesville, a majority white city, Council to remove a statue and rename a park was hijacked by neo Nazis as a rallying cry to ‘patriots’ or ‘white nationalists’ or whatever they call themselves today to converge on Charlottesville, and they did, coming from as far as California, bringing with them Nazi symbolism, sticks, shields, helmets and militia men with assault weapons.

They got the reaction they hoped for.

  120. I want to know who used violence first.

    Do you?

  121. Whelp.

  124. I find it insulting that these people are labeled anything to do with the right.

It is wrong. Nazi are Socialists, Racism is a tool of the left NOT the right.

I’m sorry I am probably the most right wing person on this site and these people represent none of the beliefs I have ever spewed. I don’t accept racism period. It is a sin against God. People come in all shades, shapes, and sizes to judge people on how dark or how light their skin is, is a red flag that the individual who does so is a person of Low intelligence or a product of ignorance.

The Animal that ran these people down should be publicly HUNG. If you are wearing Nazi memorabilia you should be ridiculed and laughed at. If you are also hellbent on wiping from history FACTS about it you should also be ridiculed and laughed at. Which is what this campaign against the confederate part of our history is.

Slavery was an open wound on the first 100yrs of my nation. It festered until the nation erupted in War. It was a very bloody war fought with ferocity. The Confederacy was destroyed, the leading Generals home was seized and they planted the dead in his front yard, you might of heard of it, it’s called Arlington.

The Electing of Obama was supposed to be the final salve on the wound. Instead over his eight years the scab was picked and events like these are the puss oozing out.

Street Artist’s Facebook Page Shut Down as “Hate Speech” After Zuckerberg Stunt

“F*ck Zuck 2020” posters, the symbol after the “F” being a middle finger, were hung in various California cities.

The work of a conservative street artist known for skewering the liberal politics of celebrities and corporations has been deemed “hate speech” by Facebook, which shut his page down on Sunday.

The notice comes just days after the artist known as Sabo attacked Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg with posters disparaging his alleged presidential aspirations. “F*ck Zuck 2020” read the posters, the symbol after the “F” being a middle finger. They were hung in the dead of night last week in various California cities.

“Your page has been unpublished for using hate speech,” read the message at the Unsavory Agents fan page run by Sabo.

Sabo is the artist’s pen name and Unsavory Agents is the name of his website and business where his artwork is sold.

Sabo last struck on Friday when he plastered fake ads and posters around Google and YouTube offices in Venice, Calif. Those ads, some as large as 30 square feet and some plastered onto bus stop benches, ridiculed Google as a place that is hostile to free thinkers, a reference to the recent firing of an employee who penned a 3,000-word memo to co-workers critical of his employer’s focus on diversity in its hiring practices.

  127. I find it insulting that these people are labeled anything to do with the right.

Then you’ll really be insulted by the ‘alt – right’ name that they’ve coined for themselves and the blatant racial segregation too.

It is wrong. Nazi are Socialists

I assume that you’re speaking about the ‘Socialist’ adjective in the ‘National Socialist Party?’

Can you explain how suppressing the Labour Movement by abolishing independent Trade Unionism and privatising national industry is socialist?

  128. I don’t want to dwell on Petr, but on antifa.

They are an violent attack first organization IMO

Are you interested in knowing who was the first to use violence in Charlottesville?

  129. I don’t want to dwell on Petr

    Then why this?

The purpose of antifa, in Dublin, Seattle, or Charlottesville, is to attack first. They’ve said it, over and over, including on these pages

You want to dwell on Antifa? answer this then:

Is ‘Antifa’ a group that you sign up to and become a card carrying member of like the various groups that comprise the ‘alt right’ which converged on Charlotesville at the weekend?
This ‘Antifa’ seem to have lately become the bogeymen of the US lateky, Who are they? ie. were the smaller group of counter protesters assaulted by a a much larger neo Nazi group at the University of Virginia ‘Antifa?’

I don’t know who started the violence in Charlotesville and yes I’d be interested in knowing. In the absence I’ll hazard a guess that those who came with armed militiaman, wearing helmets and carrying sticks and shields, assaulted a smaller group at a university two days before the march and ultimately committed a terrorist murder did but I’m open to persuasion.

I’ll include this article again just in case you couldn’t be bothered to open it first time round:

    https://www.wired.com/story/alt-right-charlottesville-reddit-4chan/

  130. I am interested in who committed violence first in Charlottesville.

And antifa has a very long rap sheet in this area, which they’re quite open about.

Identical intelligence and methods should be used against neo nazis and their moral equals, the antifa and the cop killers’ friends BLM.

    The photos are great.

They’re welcome back in NYC anytime, and should bring all their friends.

  132. And antifa has a very long rap sheet in this area, which they’re quite open about.

So it’s insinuation and nothing to do with those who came prepared for violence and committed terrorist murder? Yeah, okay.

As you seem to be somewhat of an expert on this ‘Antifa’ I’ll try this a third time:

Is ‘Antifa’ a group that you sign up to and become a card carrying member of like the various groups that comprise the ‘alt right’ which converged on Charlotesville at the weekend?
This ‘Antifa’ seem to have lately become the bogeymen of the US lateky, Who are they? ie. were the smaller group of counter protesters assaulted by a a much larger neo Nazi group at the University of Virginia ‘Antifa?’

And what is ‘antifa’s very long rap sheet in this area? (you should also read the rhetoric on the link I posted twice).

    Go for it.

  133. To The Riddler

You know the answer to the fake question that you pose.

  134. So all the above is in fact rhetorical guff from you used for effect?

    Well okay then.

  135. And what is ‘antifa’s very long rap sheet in this area? (you should also read the rhetoric on the link I posted twice).

    Go for it.

I’ll take that one on as it’s rather easy and needs little examination.

    Firstly, who joins ‘antifa’?

    http://www.afa.net/the-stand/culture/2017/04/antifa-and-the-looney-left/

Have you ever heard of ANTIFA? Admittedly, I live in the heartland, so when I saw the riots in Berkeley, I had to do some research on who/what ANTIFA is. To me, it looked like a bunch of spoiled Millennials dressed in black screaming, shouting, and threatening anyone who doesn’t agree with them. Sort of sounds like one party in Washington, but I digress.

ANTIFA supposedly stands against fascism; it is an abbreviation for “anti-fascist.” Interesting, because I would say 99.9% of Americans would agree on standing against fascism. (As I recall, we dealt a destructive blow to fascism in the ‘40s, and it has made no significant comeback since.)

ANTIFA is actually a radical communist group. Their funding comes mainly from George Soros, and thus, they get paid to be a “fly in the ointment.” They claim lofty ideals, but all they really stand for is radical communism. In doing some research for this blog, I watched several videos on ANTIFA, the Berkeley riots, and other ANTIFA related groups around the world. ANTIFA’s main tactic is chaos, shouting down anyone with whom they disagree with calls of fascist, racist, bigot, etc.

ANTIFA is not the problem. Again, they are largely made up of a tiny group of Millennials dressed in black hoodies and bandannas who always got a trophy for what they did, were never told “no,” and have no coping ability in the world around them.

OK – that’s spoilt millenials who don’t realise that one of the major problems is them, but where does their funding come from?

The Soros-backed Democrat terror group known as “Antifa” is leading what many are calling “The Resistance.”

The idiotic, self-destructive fight against President Trump and his America First agenda.

    Their goal?

To make America “ungovernable” for the president of the United States.

All cited cases of antifa’s disruption and violence are linked to sources but what happens when one follows the money?

This weekend, white nationalist groups including the KKK decided to protest the removal of Confederate statues in Charlottesville, Virginia. As American citizens, it is their right to do so, as unpalatable as those groups are. In response, the looney Liberal Far-Left including Antifa and Black Lives Matter decided to show up and “take them on”. As a result, multiple people including two state troopers lay dead today. The violence reached insane levels when a car was driven at high speed into the crowd, killing one woman instantly.

And in an amazing coincidence, this all happened on George Soros birthday.

The links trace the money-fountain back to the Soros Foundation

Is the KKK a domestic terror group? Absolutely they are, but guess what? If they want to hold a legal, peaceful demonstration that is their guaranteed right to do so as American citizens under our Constitution. Free speech is for the ugly speech, too, provided it does not break the law by turning into a riot. Riots are not protected by our Constitution.

Who turned yesterday’s demonstration into a riot? ANTIFA did, Black Lives Matter did, and they could not have done it without the tens of millions of dollars they receive from George Soros’ various foundations and shell corporations.

Video footage shows ‘antifa’ starting the violence, and yet, from the footage, one must ask why the march was routed TOWARDS the idiots, and where were the police? All photographers and film crews were there and ready, but no police. Did the authorities set up the ‘event’?

  136. I’ll take that one on as it’s rather easy and needs little examination

Mooncats Unite, it is of course George Soros (again)

Yeah, but did Trump know his co – host on Access Hollywood was married?

    Please wise the fuck up.

And yes, it is Soros – at least, that what the IRS believes according to tax declarations

    http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/jan/14/george-soros-funds-ferguson-protests-hopes-to-spur/

In all, Mr. Soros gave at least $33 million in one year to support already-established groups that emboldened the grass-roots, on-the-ground activists in Ferguson, according to the most recent tax filings of his nonprofit Open Society Foundations.

    And that’s ‘philanthropy’?

And what is ‘antifa’s very long rap sheet in this area? (you should also read the rhetoric on the link I posted twice).
    Go for it.

Job done. See how easy it is to show that ‘antifa’ are a shower of stupid, violent scum funded by ‘philanthropist’ billionaires.

IT REALLY IS SOROS – and the rest of his cronies
