Syria oh Syria oh why do the gits kvetch……

By Patrick Van Roy On April 15th, 2018

Syria the Land of the wretches….. reading the articles, posts, and comments everywhere this week you’d think one of the Seven Seals were opened this week.  A truly insignificant event took place and was responded too, and the hand wrenching that has taken place has been as if the Armada and invasion force for D-Day had been revealed and set loose.

Some scumbags used Chemical Weapons and it was responded too, no invasion, no increase in troops, no change of status in the backward barbarism of the Middle East took place. The perpetual battle of the two tribes of Islam continues and will continue as they kill each other for the “Honor” of who will lead the battle against all others.

So stop, stop with the nonsense of the Poor Syrians, the Evil West and the false benediction of “escalation”.  As a cold hearted bastard I freely say every casualty in Syria benefits the civilised world. The more these backward barbarians kill each other the better off the rest of the world is.

Escalation is coming of that there is no doubt. This has been an active war of multiple fronts for 17yrs and there is no end in sight. The token firing of Cruise Missiles in a single night has changed nothing on the ground.

Put your hands back in your pockets stop your whining, If you choose to bitch and moan do so to you Politicians about YOUR safety in YOUR country of residence.

    Such a Christian comment.

There’s more culture in one square mile of Damascus than in the whole of Pennsylvania. If Penn disappeared no-one would notice. If Syria’s ancient peoples and cultures disappear it would be a catastrophe.

I think the drug dealers would.

As someone of probably only a handful of people here who has experienced a bomb warning at first hand I can tell you that the absolute terror and panic are so strong they are almost tangible Pat. I can only imagine how much that terror and panic are amplified with jets screeching overhead not knowing when or where the bombs are going to strike.

As a cold hearted bastard I freely say every casualty in Syria benefits the civilised world.

Such a humanitarian Christian comment If I had faith I’d pray for you.

  6. off topic for Peter

You can count me in on that one Paul.

My ex-wife and I were caught up in a bomb threat by the IRA in London.

    Debenhams if I recall correctly.

  8. These people are burning and crucifying literally nailing Christians to crosses and I’m unchristian for being honest…. cut me a break….

These people are the enemy of all humanity….. screw em and break out the Napalm and baseballs….

  9. Yo know the terror and fear as well then Harr?

  10. Troll –

    You’re an idiot.

The West, Saudi and Qatar have been funding, recruiting, training and arming the jihadists.

Assad’s government are the lot not killing Christians. The evidence suggests that Syrian Christians overwhelmingly support Assad.

    You are a genuine idiot.

It certainly stays with you for a while Paul.

As you say, what life must be like knowing you could be hit by a drone, jet or high altitude bomber strike is beyond most people’s comprehension.

  12. These people are the enemy of all humanity….. screw em and break out the Napalm and baseballs….

Your God must be so proud.

Personally, I see no difference between a blood thirsty Christian, and blood thirsty Muslim Jihadi.

  13. I can’t count the number of bomb threats and evacuations I had in London. And then one Saturday morning I was walking near Moorgate when the Bishopsgate bomb went off. My ears are still ringing now, and that was a couple of miles away.

My uncle was bombed for hours by the Turkish army in Cyprus. He lived in London after that but always left the country on 5th November. He couldn’t take it. It was too much for his nerves. In hindsight he probably had PTSD.

I asked him years later what it was like. He said it was “maddening”, and he meant it literally.

  14. Anti Christian post on a Sunday

  15. Yes, a quite disgusting post.

O/T – I’m surprised the Belfast Rape Trial was not discussed on ATW. Threw up many troubling questions.

  16. Christians in Syria know they’vre safe under Assad (unless they happen to be in an area he’s gassing); the same was true for Iraqi Christians under Saddam. These dictators don’t care about religion either way, which is the best attitude a government can have.

  17. The constant attacks on the fact that I believe in God only show each of your own hypocrisy and stupidity.

I am not a priest, cleric, or any type of clergy. I talk about God and Religion at times because I believe in God. A belief acquired through the experiences of my life.

You trying to use my beliefs to discredit me only shows your lack of honesty and inability to put forth logical or relevant arguments to my positions.

Half of you have no belief in anything and ware it as a badge like it gives you some sort of standing or credibility while you support those who kill and murder in the name of their God or in support of ski masked wearing gangsters in the name of Politics.

I have never advocated for a crusade for Christ, any religion or even a political philosophy. I advocate killing those who advocate killing us.

If it is a threat I advocate for dealing with it openly, honestly, and with extreme prejudice.

However if you are so weak of mind that attacking me for believing in God while still being able to show support for killing the enemy is what you “think” makes your views more substantial or worthy in any way…. well I’ll pray for you.

  19. Pat, your

As a cold hearted bastard I freely say every casualty in Syria benefits the civilised world. The more these backward barbarians kill each other the better off the rest of the world is.

Is absolutely incompatible with any kind of Christian or humanitarian belief which even I, as a human and a wannabe believer, can absolutely attest to.

How can for example civilian men women and children casualties which might result from the strikes make the rest of the world beter off?

  20. // I advocate killing those who advocate killing us. //

Don’t be such a chicken. The Syrians don’t want to kill you, least of all the Syrian Christians.

He’s never been anywhere or met anyone. He’s never drank coffee under a Mediterranean sun, seen the Aussie outback or strolled through an Oriental city at night. So he’s unaware how silly this scripture-reading-macho-man shtick sounds.

  22. So stop, stop with the nonsense of the Poor Syrians . . .

And what of those poor unfortunates that were murdered in 911 ? And what of their families ? Are we now all to use those same words whenever American and other friends people are murdered in cold blood ?

As a cold hearted bastard I freely say every casualty in Syria benefits the civilised world. The more these backward barbarians kill each other the better off the rest of the world is.

Not all Syrians are not savages, the same as not all Americans are.

I cannot imagine what inspired you to write such things and why you would wish harm on those that have neither threatened you or your country.

May I remind you sir, that it was Saudi citizens that murdered your fellow countrymen on 911, not Syrians. If you have to direct your venom, I suggest you start there.

  23. you inspired me to write this Mark.

  24. I find your position offensive Mark.

You don’t know me, you don’t know this site. I am glad to see you join in on the conversation as a regular all views are welcome.

Lets address your last point first. The Saudis…. I have repeatedly said the Saudis are our enemies. I have called for their Oil Fields to be bombed. I have called for the U.S. to use our vast Oil resources to collapse their economy. I have stated also that I have no problem using them as pawns to kill Persians.

None of what is written in the post above is new. I have said all these things before. Over the past week you have whined about us hitting a few targets…. oh boo freaking hoo.

There are no good guys in Syria, there a very few good guys anywhere in the Middle East outside of Israel.

Those murdered on 9/11 were purposefully targeted civilians NOT collateral damage. Unlike those in the ME we did NOT target civilians as the target, another point you seem to miss.

Your whining, complaining, and exaggerating over what this small simple attack was is what inspired this post.

  26. Pat, here’s my take:
alot of what you wrote rings true, i think the first 3/4 was top draw
but then there was no need for this:
” As a cold hearted bastard I freely say every casualty in Syria benefits the civilised world. The more these backward barbarians kill each other the better off the rest of the world is.”
like a fart in an elevator, that statement is wrong on a number of levels.

    Try this :

I’m a Syrian doctor who treated patients in Aleppo. I’m in the US to give back

    what dya think ?

  28. Jude.

The good Dr M. IHSAN KAADAN, certainly mentions chemical weapons. What he doesn’t mention is who unleashed them?.

  29. Jude we did not carpet bomb Syria. These were surgical strikes.

I have on occasion called for carpet bombing in area’s, but always after announcing that we would do so to provide time for exit of women, children, doctors etc

I have called for pamphlets to be dropped on Gaza giving them 3 days to leave before it is leveled.

I stated my fart statement because it is my honest view. I don’t play politics in this arena.

  30. Christian refugees in the Netherlands say Assad is OK; priest calls him ‘a gift from heaven’

The Arameans are a well-integrated Christian minority in the Netherlands. Originally they came from Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Southern Turkey. Dutch newspaper ‘De Telegraaf’ interviewed several of them and talked about the civil war in Syria.

Christian refugee Johnny Shabo says that the same group responsible for the civil war in the eighties is now responsible for more chaos. The Muslim brotherhood that attacked the regime of Assad’s father earlier, are now attacking Assad junior’s regime.

Shabo says that the leaders of ISIS and Al Qaeda who are fighting in Syria are part of the Muslim brotherhood. For Christian Arameans the Muslim rebels pose a bigger threat than Assad’s troops, Shabo says.

“It’s a fact that Christians in Syria were left alone by Assad as long as they didn’t interfere in politics”, he adds. “Every Christian from Syria will tell you that before the civil war, our country was a far better place for us than Turkey.”

Zuhri blames the West, Turkey and Arabic countries for arming the jihadist rebels. “And now the Turks are lighting up the fire with their invasion. Everybody in Syria wants to be left alone and wants that Assad stays leader. Why? Because compared to other Arab dictators, Assad is a gift from heaven for Christians”.

Johnny Shabo and his friends understand what priest Zuhri means. Every Aramean fears radical Islam. “We are very worried looking at the developments in Syria where American interventions can have a big impact.” Shabo continues, “they could unintentionally be of great advantage for the jihadist rebels”.

The location that was ‘surgically struck’ was the chemical weapons production site, yes? Immediately after the strike, journalists and troops were able to visit the wreckage WITHOUT PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. The capitalised section is important because if chemical weaposn were being made there, the product and its precursors would have been released to contaminate the vicinity.

    https://www.rt.com/news/424228-syria-strike-civilian-research-facility/

An engineer at the now-bombed-out research facility north of Damascus, which the US claims was the heart of Syria’s chemical weapons program, says the labs were making medicine and testing toys for safety.

RT Arabic correspondents have visited one of the main targets of the US-led missile attack on Syria, the Scientific Studies and Research Center in the Barzeh district in northern Damascus. The three-story building was pelted with 57 Tomahawk missiles launched from US warships and 19 air-to-surface missiles, the Pentagon said.

The massive bombardment left it lying in ruins, with its walls and roof almost completely collapsed and lab equipment scattered around.

The morning after the strike, several media outlets, including RT, AFP, CBS News and others were given a tour to the former research facility, now little more than a pile of rubble.

Said, an engineer at the facility, told RT Arabic that the very fact that such a trip was possible should serve as an evidence that no chemical weapons program was run at the site.

  33. How does RT have ” Arabic correspondents ” when it has no ad or subscription revenue ?

Why not say ” Crooked Putin Oligarch funded correspondents ” for the sake of clarity

  34. pat, i wasn’t agains the hit, in fact i favoured the limited surgical strike
what i object to is your characterization of all muslims being the enemy
clearly the doctor is making a valuable contribution to medicine in USA
that cannot be argued with can it ?

true harri he didn’t mention where the gas came from ..

  35. Jude where did I say all Muslims?

I choose my words carefully. Even the obnoxious ones.

  36. would it bother you to be treated by a syrian doctor is the moneyshot question ?

  37. Why not say ” Crooked Putin Oligarch funded correspondents ” for the sake of clarity

Whatever……but the fact that nobody was poisoned by materials at the ‘chemical weapons lab’ says more than Phantom ever could:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-43769332

The branch of the Scientific Studies and Research Centre (SSRC) in the capital’s northern Barzeh district was a “centre for the research, development, production and testing of chemical and biological warfare technology”, Gen Dunford said.

Lt Gen Kenneth McKenzie, director of the US military’s Joint Staff, said the US fired 76 missiles at the facility – 57 Tomahawk cruise missiles and 19 joint air-to-surface stand-off missiles.

“Initial assessments are that this target was destroyed. This is going to set the Syrian chemical weapons programme back for years,” he said.

A man identified by CBS News as a scientist who worked there for 38 years said it was “totally incorrect” that chemical weapons were being developed at the site.

(((CBS))) is one of Phantom’s ‘trusted media’ and yet those who are walking through the wreckage of the ‘chemical weapons test centre’ are wearing no protective clothing: how can this be when a town centre in England was completely closed and swarming with chemical-protection suits over a droplet of non-Russian nerve agent? It’s a mystery.

OK – I’m kidding. It’s not a mystery but it’s a BIG LIE, though not the BIGGEST LIE.

  38. I am still waiting for someone, anyone for that matter to show me real evidence of Assads chemical attacks?.

So far, all I have personally seen, is some kids and women being doused in cold water.

one seriously dodgy “interview” with a little girl that is blatantly being coerced, and a statement from a Syrian doctor, who works in the States, explaining that chemical weapons are bad?.

Apart from that, nothing, diddly squat.

  39. Jude.
