Time to Fisk and Laugh

By Patrick Van Roy On May 18th, 2018

For those not paying attention the United States is in the middle of an unraveling of a criminal cover up and an attempted coup. Some may say a Coup is stretching it a bit, but I think not and I will attempt to help shine some light as to why it is not an outrageous claim. I will do this using the un-indictable  NYT and an article they put out to leak information so that the about to be released second IG Report can be spun. Lets have some fun with this bit of semi-criminal propaganda printed in the old red hag shall we…..

Code Name Crossfire Hurricane: The Secret Origins of the Trump Investigation

Image
Days after the F.B.I. closed its investigation into Hillary Clinton in 2016, agents began scrutinizing the presidential campaign of her Republican rival, Donald J. Trump.CreditAl Drago for The New York Times
Two things glaringly wrong right off the bat. 1 Comey had no Legal Standing to close the FBI investigation into Clinton. As head of the FBI that is not under his purview. Only the Atty Gen has the Legal Authority to do that unless she had recused herself and appointed another Atty Gen to do so… which Comey is NOT.  #2 They began “scrutinizing” an American Citizen who was running for President without a crime to justify that scrutiny. The investigation into Trump began before he even secured the nomination.

May 16, 2018

WASHINGTON — Within hours of opening an investigation into the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia in the summer of 2016, the F.B.I. dispatched a pair of agents to London on a mission so secretive that all but a handful of officials were kept in the dark. Trump and his Campaign were put under investigation by Obama, Lynch, and Comey IN THE SUMMER before the nomination was even secured…. let that sink in.

Their assignment, which has not been previously reported, was to meet the Australian ambassador, who had evidence that one of Donald J. Trump’s advisers knew in advance about Russian election meddling. After tense deliberations between Washington and Canberra, top Australian officials broke with diplomatic protocol and allowed the ambassador, Alexander Downer, to sit for an F.B.I. interview to describe his meeting with the campaign adviser, George Papadopoulos. Who gave the Ambassador permission to break protocol? Who negotiated the waving of that Protocol on the U.S. side? The FBI can’t, the request would have had to been made by the Atty Gen with Approval of the White House through the State Dept.

The agents summarized their highly unusual interview and sent word to Washington on Aug. 2, 2016, two days after the investigation was opened. Their report helped provide the foundation for a case that, a year ago Thursday, became the special counsel investigation. But at the time, a small group of F.B.I. officials knew it by its code name: Crossfire Hurricane. So they already had a report created two weeks after he secured the Nomination to open the “investigation”. Still no initial crime to go one, but the “narrative” had been worked out and phony evidence planted.

The name, a reference to the Rolling Stones lyric “I was born in a crossfire hurricane,” was an apt prediction of a political storm that continues to tear shingles off the bureau. Days after they closed their investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server, (covering up her violations to the Espionage Act) agents began scrutinizing the campaign of her Republican rival. The two cases have become inextricably linked in one of the most consequential periods in the history of the F.B.I. This will go down in History as the FBI being more corrupt than even when J Edgar Hoover was in charge.

This month, the Justice Department inspector general is expected to release the findings of its lengthy review of the F.B.I.’s conduct in the Clinton case. The results are certain to renew debate over decisions by the F.B.I. director at the time, James B. Comey, to publicly chastise Mrs. Clinton in a news conference, and then announce the reopening of the investigation days before Election Day. Mrs. Clinton has said those actions buried her presidential hopes. The only thing that buried Clinton’s hopes was Hillary Clinton and her corruption. As stated earlier Comey had no authority under the Law to close the investigation. He reopened it because in his act of covering up Mrs. Clinton’s crimes he missed clearing the computer of the perverted husband of her assistant Huma Abedine and hunfreds of emails were found on his computor as well. Another Felony under the Federal Records Act.

Those decisions stand in contrast to the F.B.I.’s handling of Crossfire Hurricane. Not only did agents in that case fall back to their typical policy of silence, but interviews with a dozen current and former government officials and a review of documents show that the F.B.I. was even more circumspect in that case than has been previously known. Many of the officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the investigation publicly. In other words leaking, committing felonies….

Agents considered, then rejected, interviewing key Trump associates, which might have sped up the investigation but risked revealing the existence of the case. Top officials quickly became convinced that they would not solve the case before Election Day, which made them only more hesitant to act. When agents did take bold investigative steps, like interviewing the ambassador, they were shrouded in secrecy. Because they were involved in a secret criminal conspiracy to derail a candidate for President.

Fearful of leaks, they kept details from political appointees across the street at the Justice Department. Peter Strzok, a senior F.B.I. agent, explained in a text that Justice Department officials would find it too “tasty” to resist sharing. “I’m not worried about our side,” he wrote. This is leaked information, these texts have yet to be released, leaking it is a Felony. The content is admission of a conspiracy to hid what they were doing from their supervisors at Justice.

Only about five Justice Department officials knew the full scope of the case, officials said, not the dozen or more who might normally be briefed on a major national security case. Those 5 are 5 more crooked cops that should be indicted before this whole thing is done.

In the Clinton case, Mr. Comey has said he erred on the side of transparency. But in the face of questions from Congress about the Trump campaign, the F.B.I. declined to tip its hand. And when The New York Times tried to assess the state of the investigation in October 2016, law enforcement officials cautioned against drawing any conclusions, resulting in a story that significantly played down the case. Because there was no EVIDENCE that any crime had been committed.

Mr. Comey has said it is unfair to compare the Clinton case, which was winding down in the summer of 2016, with the Russia case, which was in its earliest stages. He said he did not make political considerations about who would benefit from each decision. Admitting that they had started trying to sabotage the Trump Campaign BEFORE they even finished covering up Clinton’s crimes.

But underpinning both cases was one political calculation: that Mrs. Clinton would win and Mr. Trump would lose. Agents feared being seen as withholding information or going too easy on her. And they worried that any overt actions against Mr. Trump’s campaign would only reinforce his claims that the election was being rigged against him. Which the evidence proves it was being rigged against him.

The F.B.I. now faces those very criticisms and more. Mr. Trump says he is the victim of a politicized F.B.I. He says senior agents tried to rig the election by declining to prosecute Mrs. Clinton, then drummed up the Russia investigation to undermine his presidency. He has declared that a deeply rooted cabal — including his own appointees — is working against him. One of the only honest Paragraphs in this article.

I could continue with this farce of an article, but I won’t. It is full of spin and Felony Leaks. Well crafted bull of the finest caliber. It is a preemptive strike to spin the information that is about to be exposed by another Inspector General Report.  The NYT provides for us the basic pieces of the conspiracy to prevent and then undue the Election of Trump to the Presidency.

5 members of the Justice Dept, and a group of at least 5 members of the FBI management engaged in a secret investigation into a Presidential Candidate. The KGB would be proud. This story is far from over and about to heat up once again. As the Old Red Hag spelled out above, the FBI and DOJ hierarchy illegally covered up multiple Felonies by Hillary Clinton and before they had even finished their whitewash they had begun to sabotage and attack Presidential Candidate and interfere in the American Political System.

The Mueller investigation is an attempted Coup that started the Night Hillary lost.

The fun is just beginning.

  2. Noel…. it’s ROFLMAO not ROFLMYAO….

so wrong even in your ridicule …. LMAO

  3. “NEW YORK (Reuters) – The former son-in-law of Paul Manafort, the one-time chairman of President Donald Trump’s campaign, has cut a plea deal with the Justice Department that requires him to cooperate with other criminal probes, two people with knowledge of the matter said.

The guilty plea agreement, which is under seal and has not been previously reported, could add to the legal pressure on Manafort, who is facing two indictments brought by Special Counsel Robert Mueller in his probe of alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election.

Manafort has been indicted in federal courts in Washington and Virginia with charges ranging from tax evasion to bank fraud and has pleaded not guilty to the charges.”

  4. Noel…

    Patrick

It’s Peter, so wrong even in your name.

    ROFLMAO

  5. ok another bright child lets look at what he posts…..

has cut a plea deal with the Justice Department that requires him to cooperate with other criminal probes, two people with knowledge of the matter said.

    Followed by this…..

The guilty plea agreement, which is under seal

so you have anonymous sources… (fake) committing a crime and leaking info from a SEALED agreement…..

lmao… oh Ok skippy that’s not Fake News…

  6. sorry Peter I thought Noel was brighter than that…. I was right my mistake, it was you 🙂

  7. “One adviser appeared to have Russian intelligence contacts. Another was suspected of being a Russian agent himself.” That is the most important sentence in your post. I believe the CIA discovered the Russian agent. It is important for the country to know what has been going on, especially as to a Russian agent.

Trump should meet with Mueller and his team and answer the 49 questions the investigators are interested in. That would speed up this process. Delay looks like guilty.

  8. awesome reporter Fisk is always a bane to the Right , Frisk is a better term
    meanwhile non-crazies in America vote

The city council of Boulder, Colorado has voted to ban semi-automatic rifles – a weapon used in several recent US mass shootings.

  9. What a load of waffle !

  10. NYr the only person dealing with the Russians was Hillary Clinton.

There is no evidence of the Trump campaign getting ANY information, or ANY help from the Russians everything goes back to the Clinton bought and paid for fake russian dossier….

“One adviser appeared to have Russian intelligence contacts. Another was suspected of being a Russian agent himself.”

Where is the evidence? The only evidence anyone has found in regard to Russia was paid for by the Clintons…. but you keep smoking that stuff. In the mean time indictments for current and former FBI and DOJ employees are being written up.

  11. What’s a load of waffle Colm?

  12. It seems neither can speak without shouting and flailing , we just see a couple of gammons exploding , and that’s not a racial slur , its simply a fact . All heat Pat, no light, same sh1t every day, it doesn’t change . Its no way to treat a lady and in this case the lady is “wisdom” or “sophia”. The Ancient Greek word sophia (σοφία, sophía) is the abstract noun of σοφός (sophós), which variously translates to “clever, skillful, intelligent, wise”. None of which is on display here, hence why colm refers to the whole thing as woffle, which is a polite way of saying “garbage”. case dismissed !

  13. Trump should meet with Mueller and his team and answer the 49 questions the investigators are interested in.

As you know, many Trump allies have urged him never to do this, as it would be according to them ” a perjury trap ”

If the subject is a congenital liar, as Trump is, any meeting with the FBI, or any meeting under oath, is a perjury trap.

  14. https://www.dallasnews.com/news/crime/2017/12/07/crime-lie-fbi

  15. Phantom how many criminal act charges has Mueller made in this investigation so far ?

The answer is 1, he has made 5 Perjury Charges 3 of which are being fought in court….

Please wipe the foam from your chin

  16. Let the man do his work, and quit bothering people.

  17. Jude you speak of Wisdom…..

You think it’s Wise to allow an out of control FBI cover up crimes for one political candidate while fabricating crimes against another candidate?

  18. I’m happy to see that you frame the question in such an unbiased way!

  19. who ever said I was unbiased…..

and bias or not…. FACTS are FACTS

I can name felonies Hillary committed, you can’t name any Trump has.

  20. and unlike you where Hillary’s Felonies mean nothing to you, if Trump has committed any crimes I will lead the charge to prosecute him.

  21. Pat in the same way as you describe Israel having a special status, same applies here:
The incumbent Trump , the president is held to a higher standard because he’s in Office, those who didn’t win elections don’t face the same public outcry in sane circles, why? because they lost. That’s enough for most people, they are out of the public eye, flotsam and jetsam you know those nautical references, phantom should he was in the navy .
Hence the discourse presented by Hannity and chums is woffle as my learned colleague colm presented, nothing you have said so far changes that. case dismissed.

  22. its misses the point whatever dirt you got pat, that’s the point, cos she’s not in office.
lemme give you an exaaple , if photos emerged tomorrow of Trump with a giant dildo in his ass that would be big news, if same photos surfaced in 2 years time after he’s out of office, its just a non-story hardly even worth printing, try to remember that Pat. Its the key to the whole of politics man . What is happening NOW .. dya get it ?

  23. what you get from Trump cry-babies is they like that he won the election, but they don’t like the scrutiny that comes with public office. Accountability and responsibility is hurting and so it should be , because we’re not on the campaign trail anymore, where you can speak any old crap to the base. He’s actually an occupant of the WH and the role is the highest in the land.
Trumpies need to grow a pair.

  24. if Trump has committed any crimes I will lead the charge to prosecute him.

Oh, we’re all so sure of that.

  25. exactly phantom, that show of force by Pat will soon become a “conditional”
If they’re not going to prosecute Hilary Clinton for xyz then I’m damned if I’m going to support any prosecutions for Trump crimes. You can almost predict that with certainty.

If i was mischievous Pat, I might agree with you about Mueller in that sometimes it looks like Mueller’s got the guilty verdicts all lined, but goddammmit we just need to find some crimes to go with those verdicts .. lol. Its very tricky to catch people like Trump who has spent his life slipping through the Net, as Comey says Trump is like a Mafia Boss. Tax evasion anyone?

  26. So far the Mueller investigation has been able to charge 19 people and 3 Russian companies with crimes. Trump’s former national security advisor Mike Flynn has pled guilty, as have deputy campaign chairman Rick Gates and campaign aid George Papadopolous. All three are cooperating, and we don’t yet know what the Cohen records will reveal. Mueller is a legitimate combat veteran with impeccable credentials. Some coup.

  27. No, Mueller and McCain are traitors and the Draft Dodger is the hero.

I know it is true because Mark Levin said so.

  28. I don’t know what Mueller is, except a tool, McCain is a traitor to the Constitution and a corrupt Politician.

Unlike you I can justify my venom, and unlike you I think for myself.

  29. Mahons list the charges that Mueller has filed against the people he has filled them against, name one American he has charged with any collusion or with any criminal act in regards to the election…..

Even the Russians have gone to court to fight his phoney charges…..

So please provide a list of charges and tell us how they effected the election. Educate us.

    You calling me a Liar?

    You are total Psycho Tom.

  31. Another Example of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

In the psycho foam at the mouth Phantoms mind if you are not rabidly insane over Trump being President you can’t stand for Truth Justice and Honesty….

Never Mind that he doesn’t want Clinton who has admitted to committing Felonies not prosecuted, but if you actually expect them to find a crime a crime before you demand Trump be prosecuted well in his view you’re a liar…..

    Go seek help Phantom….

  32. You are getting in your angry and befuddled mode again.

I have said all along that Hillary Clinton should have been prosecuted. I said in 2016 that she should have been. You may have been watching Jerry Springer when I wrote that ten times.

I have subsequently said that any prosecution as prompted by the vengeful victor Trump would be wrong.

Trump promised to lock up his political opponent from the stage, in Cleveland and from a hundred other stages. His undisciplined and un-presidential comments guarantee that any conviction of Clinton would be overturned. Your Trump has tainted the jury pool of all of America.

  33. oh dear

    Go seek help Phantom….

that old chestnut again .. Its a mad mad world , toys – pram ..
If only you could see yourselves gammons .. nite nite

  34. Deep state!

  35. no I’m not Phantom…. you have denied repeatedly that Clinton is Guilty of committing Felonies.

Her Prosecution has nothing to do with Trump it has to do with the Law.

Also I was a Cruz supporter I voted for Trump because I would have voted for anyone that ran against her. I have also said here on this site repeatedly. If Trump has committed a crime I will scream the loudest for prosecution…

Yet Time and Time again you call me a Trumpiesta… you just insinuated I was lying when I said for the 800th time that I would hand out the torches and pitchforks if he has done something wrong.

I have always argued with you, but you used to actually be able to argue points, since Trump got the nomination you have lost your reason.

I have stayed off the site because of it, I miss when you were just arrogant.

  36. Hillary Clinton is indeed not guilty of any felonies.

You may wish to study up on the US legal system.

Chapter One says that if you haven’t been charged or convicted of any felony, you’re not a felon.

That isn’t praising Hillary Clinton, it’s stating an indisputable fact.

  37. Patrick – you really never knew of Mueller’s military background? The list of indictments and guilty pleas are available to all by simply googling. A classic prosecution/investigation of this type nails small fries and turns them against potential target defendants.

    THESE ARE THE INDISPUTABLE FACTS

Hillary Clinton has admitted to committing Felony’s the fact that she wasn’t prosecuted for them is why several members of the FBI James Comey in particular are going to go to jail.

Hillary set up her own communication network outside of the government system. She has admitted this. The very act of doing so is a violation of the Federal Records act. All deliberate violations of this act are a Felony.

Everyone of her emails were under Subpoena to be turned over. She has admitted to deleting them and destroying the devices they were stored on. It doesn’t matter if they shopping lists, personal communications or love notes between her and Bill, they were under a Judicial Order to be turned over. She destroyed by her own admission 33,000.

That is 33,000 separate Felonies. That she could be charged with TWICE. It’s called destruction of evidence and obstruction of justice.

I know that Mueller’s main prosecuting atty put four innocent men in jail for over a year on false charges destroying a company and putting 10,000 people out of work. I know he was fined and almost disbarred for hiding exculpatory evidence and that he has twice had the Supreme Court by a 9-0 vote turn over his cases and reprimand him.

I know that Mueller himself totally f’d up the Whitey Bulger case causing innocent people to go to jail, and his tenure in Boston was a disaster.

But tell me Mahons in regard to ANY American colluding with the Russians or Tampering with the 2016 election who and what has he charged anyone with… please list them out.

  40. Take a chill pill

She is a bum, but she is not a felon

Comey is a good cop Who made mistakes, but he is not going to any jail

Hillary Hates Comey as much as you do, Which kind of indicates that he is not in the tank for her

Pat, if the state won’t prosecute the Beast why do those alleging her of wrongdoing not bring a civil case against her?

  45. no doubt freud were he alive would have something to say about the clinton jail obession along the lines of mass hysteria and infantile neurosis, that’s where its best filed under and kept in a locked dark room of some huge hangar like a51.

  46. Mueller is a decorated Marine Combat Veteran from the Vietnam War (Trump as I recall, is not).
The desperate attempts to link him to the Whitey Bulger fiasco are laughable.

  47. What does his being a Vet have to do with the price of tea in china Mahons……

    Absolutely Nothing.

Muller is “the guy who kept four innocent people in prison for many years in order to protect the cover of Whitey Bulger as an FBI informer.

    http://thefederalist.com/2018/05/14/record-proves-robert-mueller-clown-prince-federal-law-enforcement/

Albano was appalled that, later that same year, Mueller was appointed FBI director, because it was Mueller, first as an assistant US attorney then as the acting US attorney in Boston, who wrote letters to the parole and pardons board throughout the 1980s opposing clemency for the four men framed by FBI lies.

Of course, Mueller was also in that position while Whitey Bulger was helping the FBI cart off his criminal competitors even as he buried bodies in shallow graves along the Neponset.

“Before he gets that extension,’’ Mike Albano said, “somebody in the Senate or House needs to ask him why the US Attorney’s office he led let the FBI protect Whitey Bulger.’’
