UBER’S DONE FOR NOW

By Pete Moore On June 13th, 2018

A New York Uber driver has had his license suspended after forcing a lesbian couple out of his car for kissing […]

“We were sitting on opposite sides of the back seat. At one point we leaned over and pecked kiss, very fast.”

Shortly after the driver, Ahmad El Boutari, “pulled the cab over and said, ‘You should not do that … do not do that,’” said Miss Pichl.

That’s how weird muslims are. A proper bloke would have told them to get stuck in. But strewth, Uber’s for it now. If their reaction to Christian bakers is any indication, gayers will go absolutely mental about this.

Won’t they?

  1. If their reaction to Christian bakers is any indication, gayers will go absolutely mental about this.

    Won’t they?

Probably not, because it looks like Uber and the NYC taxi commission have behaved appropriately.

On Tuesday New York City’s taxi and limousine commission said that he had had his licence suspended.
“It’s 2018 in New York City, and this isn’t the way we live anymore,” said Allen Fromberg, spokesman for the commission.
Uber has removed Mr El Boutari’s access to its app, saying it does not tolerate discrimination. It said it is investigating.

  2. That’s how weird muslims are. A proper bloke would have told them to get stuck in.

Precisely. I would have adjusted the rear view mirror, and took the long way round.

  3. This is an international story?

We don’t know what happened in the car. We have the one person’s account, and no way of verifying that it is correct.

  4. Pete

That’s how weird muslims are. A proper bloke would have told them to get stuck in.

Don’t worry Pete, if it had been gay guys, you and the ‘weird Muslims’ would have been in full agreement.

  5. This is a tough one of the crazies. Who did we hate more: LGBT people or Muslims?!

  6. A working class guy just lost his livelihood.

    Well, f** him, right?

    Instant execution, the mob applauds.

  7. Well played Dave.

  8. F*** him, absolutely.

  9. A working class guy just lost his livelihood.
    Well, f** him, right?
    Instant execution, the mob applauds.

His job was to drive people from Point A to Point B.

    He failed to do this.

    He lost his job.

  10. Only three people know what happened, and none of them write here.

  11. Phantom.

The story I read was that the two women gave each other a kiss in the back of his car.
I’m willing to accept that’s what they did.

  12. These days, it’s fine to lose your livelihood without any real investigation or process of any kind?

  13. But the ace card in the victim-poker being played with white taxpayers’ money is black:

    http://abcstlouis.com/news/nation-world/oregon-bakery-fires-employees-for-denying-black-woman-service-after-closing

PORTLAND, Ore. — Two employees of a bakery in Portland, Oregon were fired earlier this month for denying a black woman service because the business had closed.

“Back To Eden Bakery” released several public apologies and statements following the incident, before letting the employees go. In one Facebook post, the bakery’s co-owner wrote, “We are doing business in a gentrified neighborhood in a racist city within a racist state of a racist country.”

In one statement, “Back To Eden Bakery” says that according to its own surveillance video, a black woman named “Lillian”, who is well known in the area as a “professional equity activist”, entered at 9:06 p.m., after the bakery’s closing time. Employees had also turned off the “Open” sign, but several customers (all white) who had already ordered were still inside. Two other white women who went to the bakery two minutes before “Lillian”, and were also informed that the business was closed for the night.

Now imagine a black, muslim, lesbian, tranny: that’s a weapon that could destroy a local economy

  14. Brexit farce ctd
The government is to relax immigration rules to allow more non-EU skilled workers into the UK.
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-44477095

see we need foreign workers, and the market is mre important that what people “feel” about dem dark skins in white england

nothing practically is gonna change, except we lose all the benefits of being in the EU
whilst still need to recruit foreign workers

the whole thing has been one ghastly costly nightmare . pointless exercise

suck it up brexiteers you got it wrong on just about every indicator known to man .

  15. Jude

nothing practically is gonna change, except we lose all the benefits of being in the EU
whilst still need to recruit foreign workers

What I’ve said from the start Jude. The song Hotel California springs to mind: ‘you can check out anytime you want but you can never leave.’
I think many EU deals and rules, such as immigration, farming subsidies and trade rules between EU countries and ourselves, are not going to change much from the way they are now. Even after we leave.

  16. The spin…….

The government is to relax immigration rules to allow more non-EU skilled workers into the UK

    The reality:

A paki-muslim is now in charge of the government ministry that controls immigration. We are now told that the NHS (a deity for the masses) needs more ‘doctors and nurses’ so guess where these 6 million ‘doctors and nurses’ will be coming from? How does a fly-infested shit-hole (Pakistan) manage to provide so many skilled people?

Anyway, the real way of dealing with the matter is to do what we used to do: train our own people

  17. holding nose past the bile
allan, oh wise one , why do you think NHS struggles to recruit from the home nations?
( harri i am expecting your back up here bud as your wife is a nurse , and are aware of NHS issues ) but please allan give us your top 3 reasons ?

  18. scathing article here:

    https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2018/jun/12/brexiters-immigration-caps-nhs-doctors-refused-visas

Do Brexiters want immigration caps or NHS doctors? They must choose

what you you want gammons? let’s hear it
flaggum on this busted thread, fellatio on the other .. choose 🙂

  19. You can have immigration controls and still allow those with valuable and needed skills to come in.

Sounds like someone there doesn’t know what they’re doing.

  20. My wife now works for a private hospital.

The car parking charges are too high working for the NHS, and there are far too many managers.

    😏

    The NHS needs less patients.

But then again, it has morphed into an International health service.

  21. If the NHS owns the parking lot, and you need to drive to get to the job, there shouldn’t be any parking charges at all.

  22. phantom the question is why can’t we recruit from our own base
brexit was designed to keep dem darkies out lest they pollute and bastardise the anglo-saxon blood with their filthy inferiors genes – ask allan
the same is happening in health care on a lower level: 90% of health care workers who give domiciliary care and support are from eastern europe. That is set to increase not decrease.
so the one thing brexit was voted for is failing on all level
why because the country needs labour – simple and the market over-rides the political whims of referenda . I knew this 3 ears ago, brexit in reality on the ground will change diddly squat.

  23. You can’t have a quarter of a million people from wherever pouring in year in and year out, without the infrastructure starting to creak at the seams.

    It’s not rocket science.

  24. Phantom, on June 14th, 2018 at 1:58 PM Said:

My wife was deducted £40 a month (which has now increased to £45) to park her car.

Managers park their NHS company cars for free.

  25. oh one thing of comfort to brexiteer will be you can eat a bendy banana and cry loudly in the supermarket enjoying the ecstasy of being free of brussels.
pls harri take a vid of your self eating a bendy banana, with the header
we beat them , the bastards 🙂
lol – seriously its looking like that all you gonna have to celebrate
so i really hope that nanner is tasty and you eat is nice and slowly ..

  26. Jude.

    Are you okay?.

  27. harri 202

Bad policy and class system as well

    Very excellent

  28. You can’t have a quarter of a million people from wherever pouring in year in and year out, without the infrastructure starting to creak at the seams.

the market gets what the marker wants, if you can’t get the labour from the home-growns you are forced to recruit abroad, its either that or shut-up shop , and move the company to EU
which is what is happening. Ofc with the NHS is our national institution so its not going anywhere . why can’t we recruit locally and answers to that ?

  29. which is what is happening. Ofc with the NHS is our national institution so its not going anywhere . why can’t we recruit locally and answers to that ?

Because thanks to Labour, and successive useless government’s.

Benefits has become a lifestyle choice.

  30. i’m fine Harri, just wondering out loud what apart from being able to eat a bendy bannana are you gonna be able to show in March 2019 for you Brexit vote? seriously ?
Immigration will not stop one jot as per above, companies will simply hire as they do know .
you got zilch is my point ..

  31. ’m fine Harri, just wondering out loud what apart from being able to eat a bendy bannana are you gonna be able to show in March 2019 for you Brexit vote? seriously ?

    Jude.

    Are you okay?.

  32. So all the immigrants are workers, who are doing work that the British won’t do?

    Wow never knew that.

  33. which is what is happening. Ofc with the NHS is our national institution so its not going anywhere . why can’t we recruit locally and answers to that ?

Because thanks to Labour, and successive useless government’s.

Benefits has become a lifestyle choice.

ok well thanks Harri, I will take that as admittance that Brexit will achieve diddly squat
I could have told you that 3 years ago ..

  34. Harris have you forgotten about the EU ruling about bendy bannanas and Brussels
I am suprised at that, as you rile daily against Brussels, surely you should know your facts .

  35. Jude.

    It’s Hotel California.

We know that, voting never, ever achieved anything, just more of the same.

All we have achieved is to give the establishment, the elite, the 1%, the bankers, and our overlords at Brussels, a bloody nose, and some sleepless nights.

    That’s good enough for me.

    😀

We will still be sticking up Junckers free drinks cabinet this time next year.

  36. Harris have you forgotten about the EU ruling about bendy bannanas and Brussels

    To be honest…yes!.
    😏

  37. ok well thanks Harri, I will take that as admittance that Brexit will achieve diddly squat
I could have told you that 3 years ago ..

    Jude.

No offence, but I truly believe you haven’t got a clue what happened five minutes ago.
    😏

  38. Jude thinks the EU referendum on leaving the stupid club, was all about ‘bendy bananas’?.

    Jude you old gammon you..

So all the immigrants are workers, who are doing work that the British won’t do?

I don’t think Jude cares who those immigrant workers maybe, as long as they are not white.

    😏

  39. none taken Harri, the thread is evidence enough that you’re wrong about your last point .
and it was you my dear who have forgotten about the details of the bannanas. keep ol old bean.

    phantom
employment law is complex, but company lawyers get their visas for foreign workers fast tracked, they simply find the loop hole and act upon it with speed.
so for example if the UK law states that you can’t recruit locally for foreign workers
within a day a website will appear in say Bulgaria that is identical to the one banned in UK and the sister company in Sophia will do all the recruitment , then pass that on to the UK Office, who will process the visas. Done and Dusted ..
Brexit as Harri says was just a bloody nose to the establishment .
But its one that will cost the av family £900 a year + we are losing our high street shops, every week a huge chain is folding, we are busted , that bloddy nose is biting us in the ass big time. Ofc the gammons ( faces like slapped arses ) are mostly those who are well off enough not to worry, that puts pay to the claim oft voiced here that its all about the white working class. They are being well and truly shafted . the data supports my argument .

  40. we are losing our high street shops, every week a huge chain is folding

Amazon is wounding the stores, not Brexit

  41. It looks like Harri and Jude’s conversation has achieved critical mass again.

  42. Brexit was designed to keep dem darkies out lest they pollute and bastardise the anglo-saxon blood with their filthy inferiors genes.

That’s not true Jude. Britain always had control of it’s external EU immigration and in the wake of the Euro immigrant crisis had exemption from accepting immigrants that arrived in the EU.

The only thing that will change is that EU citizens won’t have the automatic right to live and work in Britain and it’s still to early to see how of if this will affect the millionsof Brits working or living in the EU.

H, parking charges for hospital workers are a fucking disgrace and should be abolished as a matter of political party manifesto policy. The NHS hasn’t turned into the IHS where I’m from and is still under incredible pressure. Doesn’t that suggest a more fundamental structural cause?

I absolutely agree that Britain should train more doctors and nurses but as a six year medical degree is one of the more exigent fields of study both in terms of time and expense and in order to do this I would suggest that tuition fees would need to be waived and a bursary offered in order to encourage applications and attract the best academic students.

  43. Phantom,

So all the immigrants are workers, who are doing work that the British won’t do?

    Wow never knew that.

    That’s a load of b******* Phantom.
Unemployment in the UK is low, most British people want to, and do work.
This load of s*** about the British not wanting to do certain jobs, is more to do with companies being able to exploit immigrants.

  44. Dave , indeed,
harri is very comfortable is his role as village idiot of ATW
what you see is what you get , ( Benny crossroads anyone ) 😉

  45. Paul

    THANK YOU PAUL.
This is exactly what I’ve been saying for years. Even my own brother sung from the ‘we can’t control our borders because of the EU’, hymn sheet. It’s sort of bullocks. despite trying to deflect the blame on to the EU, our government has always had control of our borders and chose not to stop uncontrolled immigration to the Country.

  46. i’m sure your right paul about that and sounds correct, what i’m saying is employment law and loop-holes will always get foreign workers into the EU no matter what the gov’t says.
Its just how it works, the market is all-powerful not the politicians, correct ?

  47. into UK

  48. Post Brexit if the market dictates the need for foreign workers I’d expect commensurate work visas to be issued as a matter of urgency.

  49. What is the unemployment rate

  50. Where? (both generally and specifically)

In the UK and in the medical professions?

  51. 4.1% as of January.

  52. Pat its bout money ( shock horror )
parking aside your views of the NHS and USA best medicine EVER
we have a situation where it costs alot to train doctors and nurses
many don’t want to live and work in the shit-holes areas of deprivation of the North – if allan and oetem can call pakistan shit-holes can I call northern areas same ?

    nailed here:
“Inevitably, some of the hospitals worst hit by visa issues will be those with the neediest patients. They will be the ones operating in struggling communities with deep-rooted social problems, or the ones demoralised by past scandals: places that have always struggled to recruit, because British doctors aren’t keen to work there. Ironically, many will serve communities that backed Brexit, partly in the hope of keeping immigrants out and partly in the belief that leaving the EU would help the NHS, just like it said on the bus.

Ok so the easiest simplest option is to recruit from abroad and why wouldn’t you ?

  53. I keep hearing of significant structural long term unemployment in the UK, in the north of the country and elsewhere

Are those folks included in the 4.1%? The ” discouraged workers ” who have not worked in years and who are not looking?

  54. Phantom,

Yes, that 4.1% is not an even spread across the UK. There are many areas in the north west have much higher unemployment.

Long-term unemployed are included in the 4.1%. I believe that the only way to not be included in the unemployment statistics, (if you’re of working age and not retired), is to be claiming benefits for sickness or disability.

  55. There are many different ways of calculating the unemployment rate. It is devilishly complicated.

And there are plenty of people who simply don’t want to work, and who are happy to stay on the benefits for years, since the tax free money that they get on the dole/unemployment/social security/disability is as much as they’d get from many jobs.

There are many such people in the US and I imagine that you have them too.

Here, we have had a huge rise in the number of people who are supposedly disabled. Many are not truly disabled at all. Its a big problem

    http://apps.npr.org/unfit-for-work/

  56. Are those folks included in the 4.1%? The ” discouraged workers ” who have not worked in years and who are not looking?

I think you’ve answered your own question here:

There are many different ways of calculating the unemployment rate. It is devilishly complicated.

General unemployment is of course a relevant issue but matters little when we are speaking specifically about such a specialised field as healthcare.

  57. Phantom

I agree. As Ned Flanders in The Simpsons said: ‘we have to help those less fortunate than ourselves, the poor, the disabled and those people who just don’t want to work god bless ’em!’
There will always be a minority would rather not work. But my original point still stands. Most people in the UK, want and have, some form of employment.
I realise there a shortages in certain areas and that’s mainly due to a lack of chain training and the lack of people wanting to work in those areas. Such as the NHS. My nephews partner is a nurse in the NHS and believe you me, it’s a bloody hard job.

We’ve also had an increase in the number of people claiming sickness benefit in the UK. It seems that if you’re massively overweight, you can claim to be disabled, and a minority of people now take advantage of this.

  58. be great to read an honest artiile about the benefits of Brexit
I don’t think there are any, its just a blank page with nothing to fill

( ps was being ironice about northern shit-holes it not language i would use )
But they will be hit hardest, and interestingly they voted for it the most .. ( yikes )
going to be interesting who they will vote for next election.

  59. Some of the people I know who refuse to work are Trump bigmouths

    There are many of them.

  60. Dave , indeed,

  66. Talking of the NHS?.

One must assume that the bar for employment has been set pretty little low, I mean take Brighton & Hove mental health, they employ mental health ‘experts’ who think it’s okay to refer to people as “retards”.

    😏

  67. My question about unemployment was in regard to Pauls remark about guest workers…. does England or the NHS need to import people?

  68. Patrick

We import over a quarter of a million people each year, year in and year out.

But apparently, none of them are Doctors or nurses.

    😏

So we need you import even more.

And none of these quarter of a million people, ever get ill or require a dentist, so it’s not them putting a strain on the NHS.

    😏

  69. can’t stick with it eh, politics is a young mans game

Which is a pretty ironic comment, seeming as on ATW there was an image of you meeting Phantom in NY. And to be honest you looked well into your 70’s.

    And hideously white.

    And you should be ashamed.

jude – the areas of northern England that are shitholes are shitholes because pakis live there. Not so many flies as back home though!

Britain always had control of it’s external EU immigration and in the wake of the Euro immigrant crisis had exemption from accepting immigrants that arrived in the EU.

That may or may not be true and I can’t tell because there are no supporting links. In any case, if an afghani is given asylum – right-to-rape – in Italy, he could travel and pitch-up in the UK, courtesy of the EU: is that correct, or was an exemption agreed?

  77. Pat, UK immigration has always been set by the UK government with the exception of EU nationals being able to travel freely, live and work in any EU member country.

As regards unemployment, there are people who do milk the system. I personally know of generational unemployment in some families as a choice. For me working has always been about much much more than a wage packet.

However, I don’t think the generally speaking about unemployment does much good when speaking in the specialised context of healthcare. The average medical student will finish their studies with over £80,000 in debt and the average nurse £65,000, before they even begin to work. As I said above:

I absolutely agree that Britain should train more doctors and nurses but as a six year medical degree is one of the more exigent fields of study both in terms of time and expense and in order to do this I would suggest that tuition fees would need to be waived and a bursary offered in order to encourage applications and attract the best academic students.

I think I can safely assume I won’t be getting a Christmas card this year then?.

  80. However, I don’t think the generally speaking about unemployment does much good when speaking in the specialised context of healthcare.

I truly hope any immigrants that come to the UK, which choose mental health care as as career, don’t refer to anyone as “retards”.

It wouldn’t be the best move of their chosen career.

  82. That may or may not be true and I can’t tell because there are no supporting links.

The UK also has control over its policy on all other immigration from outside the EU. There is a points-based system for most migrants coming from countries outside the EU.

    https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-eu-referendum-35969235

In any case, if an afghani is given asylum – right-to-rape – in Italy, he could travel and pitch-up in the UK, courtesy of the EU: is that correct, or was an exemption agreed?

No he couldn’t, unless he was given EU citizenship. That’s why you had hundreds of immigrants trying to illegally enter Britain at Calais.
