Trump Crime Family Sued by NYAG For Charity Fraud

By Phantom On June 14th, 2018

The acting New York Attorney General filed suit today against Donald Trump, his three oldest children and the Trump Foundation.

The allegations are ” persistent illegal conduct “ over more than a decade, including using the charity’s funds to pay penalties owed by Trump’s businesses ( Mar A Lago )

We’ve spoken of Trump’s charity fraud for years here. Actual conservatives, not to be confused with Trump Boot Lickers have commented on the fraud for years as well.

These suits are welcome, you might think that criminal prosecution is called for.

Trump was full of criticism of the Clinton Foundation, while all the while his family and business was doing the exact same things that they accused the Clintons of.

Lock them up!

  1. This is good. The ‘foundations’ have been scamming America for decades and whatever Trump did, they all did. GET THEM ALL, especially Gates and the Clintons

  2. hey presto, sad news when its a supposed charity involved ( meant to do good ) but a fine example why Pat’s star spangled banner thread is soo off-kilter out of touch out of date and out os style . wake up pat your country stinks , its become a swamp . needs draining .
Gonna take more than a few gator-boats to drain this one pal

  3. Just let me get some popcorn here. This is going to be good.

  4. There is zero evidence that Bill and Melinda Gates or Warren Buffett engaged in any of this looting of charities or other fraud. They’ve donated heavily, and they’ve worked hard to ensure that every nickel was well spent.

The Clintons, I wouldn’t put it past them for a minute. Like Trump, they are grifters. Its what they do.

  5. Well said Phantom. I totally agree.

Decline bill Gates is ripping off charities is a rediculous accusation to make.
He’s donated huge amounts of his own money to charity

  6. To claim.

  7. Gates and Buffett can buy and sell Trump any day of the week.

They built much larger fortunes than Trump has, without the benefit of a huge inheritance either.

And they are known for being tough but ethical, as Trump is known for being tough and unethical.

They pay their bills in full and on time, as others do not.

  8. Once again, I totally agree.

  9. While I don’t doubt the Trump Foundations practices may not be on the up and up, I don’t think a lawsuit should have been commenced if there was nothing worthy of a criminal prosecution. It looks political and will be portrayed as such.

  10. How many ordinary Americans does the Trump empire employ?.

And are they in anyway unhappy with thier lot?.

  11. If there has been self dealing and misuse of funds, which sure looks to be the case, then how otherwise do you stop it?

The standard of evidence would be simpler in a civil case than it would in a criminal case, and you can stop the fraud.

  12. Phantom –

The Trump Foundation has issued a response to this sleazy political act by sleazy NY Dems – the most sleazy people in the country.

    https://twitter.com/Fahrenthold/status/1007288047027843072

In the interests of balance, would you like to flag it up?

  13. oversight of spending at Trump’s foundation was so loose that its board of directors hadn’t met in 19 years, and its official treasurer wasn’t even aware that he was on the board.

Instead, she said, the foundation came to serve the spending needs of Trump — and then, in 2016, the needs of his presidential campaign. She cited emails from Trump campaign staff members, directing which charities should receive gifts from the Trump Foundation, and in what amounts.

  14. How many ordinary Americans does the Trump empire employ?.

And are they in anyway unhappy with thier lot?.

If there has been theft misappropriation of charity monies by the Trump family does the number of people the Trump cororation employs excuse it?

  15. lmao….. pathetic….

Where is their investigation into the Clinton Foundation where there is real evidense of criminal activity.

The sexual predator who was the NY AG never brought this forward because there is no there there, but the Troll who was promoted to replace the predator thinks she can do something with it…. pathetic but good luck.

I hope she’s in the News everyday promoting this farce.

  16. Mahons its pretty series for an attorney general to launch this move, are you suggesting its been done on a whim ?

  17. The foundation took in 18 Million and paid out 19 million to charities.

  18. *corporation

  19. harri

    Enron employed many people too.

  20. The foundation took in 18 Million and paid out 19 million to charities.

There is no reason to take anything that this crime family says at face value.

    Who audited their books?

  21. The NY AG

  22. NY AG Barbara Underwood sues Trump Foundation.

She is going to take down Trump. 😂

    Mike Pampeo
The only thing she’s going to take down, is, another 3 foot pastrami sandwich.

  23. Haters gonna hate, but really, this is so sad.

I’ll be honest – I haven’t done more than give a glance to the substance of this post – but enough to get the gist of Phantom’s contentions:

    1. Trump supporters are stupid zombies, or something

    2. any corruption with private citizen Trump charity has got to equal the corruption and pay-for-play of the Clinton family charity which sold government favors to the highest bidder.

so wrong. Why not critique Trump’s policies? what’s wrong with you?

  24. Phantom, on June 14th, 2018 at 7:07 PM Said:
    harri

    Enron employed many people too.

    True.

But Enron went bust, Trump corporation is still going strong, and keeping thousands of very decent, hard working ordinary Americans in gainful employment.

We should rejoice at this fact.

  25. Why not criticize the fraud as well?

There is no evidence that I’ve seen of Clinton Foundation fraud ( though that Uranium One thing was a nice try ) but there is evidence of Trump Foundation fraud in his own handwriting ( payment of business fines by the foundation )

  26. And let’s be absolutely honest here, if it really came to people in authority being imprisoned for misuse of funds, in particular misuse of public funds, every single member of every single government on the planet, would be behind bars.

  27. Why not critique Trump’s policies? what’s wrong with you?

Because it’s about the Trump family being sued for alleged embezzelment?

H, are you suggesting that this case should be dropped because of the people the Trump Corporation employees?

  28. Ever get the feeling that this Hannity/Trump hysteria about ” Clinton Foundation ” was all just the hugest diversion to draw attention from the crystal clear fraud that happened at the Trump Foundation and at the entirely fraudulent Trump University?

  29. It’s also being said that this lawsuit is a junk lawsuit.

I know that doesn’t stop Trump haters from using it to create anti-Trump propaganda but to consider it – at its worst – as the equivalent to the Clinton Foundation/Uranium pay-to-play deal is absurd.

  30. I know that doesn’t stop Trump haters from using it to create anti-Trump propaganda

That’s it? ‘haters gonna hate?’That’s the rebuttal?

Poor Trump. The poor guy’s just soooooooo oppressed.

  31. It’s also being said that this lawsuit is a junk lawsuit.

Yes by Trump, Hannity, Alex Jones and the rest of the frauds.

Uranium One isn’t a scandal. This is one.

  32. H, are you suggesting that this case should be dropped because of the people the Trump Corporation employees?

    Absolutely not Paul.

What I am saying is, if it comes to people, My peopke, being imprisoned for misuse of funds, our prisons would be full to the gunnels with civil servants, and government employees.

To date, and as far as I know, there are no Trump employees, who are screaming and shouting poverty?.

Now, i can see where President Trump’s billions, and untold fortune comes from.

What I can’t work out is, where does the Clinton’s fortune come from.

  33. Poor Trump. The poor guy’s just soooooooo oppressed.

Give me 1% of Trump’s wealth.

And I would gladly admit to being oppressed.

  34. Clinton was in the government and then started a foundation that took in cash for government access. It’s called “selling access.”

Trump was a private citizen and had a charitable foundation.

If you can’t see the difference, I can’t help you.

  35. People being imprisoned for misuse of funds

People being accused of miuse of funds is one thing. You and I have both stated that in our opinions that taxes aren’t used appropriately. What’s being alleged here is at best embezzlement and at worst theft. And BTW, it’s a tort case as opposed to a criminal case, (at least at this stage), so it’ll only be a financial penalty as opposed to a custodial one.

It’s my understanding that the Trump Fpundation is a separate entity from the Trump Corporation and subsequently has no relation with Trump employees.

  36. Clinton was in the government and then started a foundation that took in cash for government access.

    Who told you that?

Charities are regulated. The organizer of a charity isn’t supposed to be using it to further his financial interests. Are you quite sure that Trump never used the charity to help himself in Mar A Lago?

  37. Clinton was in the government and then started a foundation that took in cash for government access. It’s called “selling access.”

Patty, why were never criminal charges brought against the Clintons for all the crimes alleged of them?

  38. The really sad thing is here, the 99% would be totally up shit creek without a paddle, if it wasn’t for the remaining 1%.

  39. Patty, why were never criminal charges brought against the Clintons for all the crimes alleged of them?

    Crime pays.

    And pays, very, very well.

  40. That’s very correct.

Many rich people became rich because they created things of great value. Why would anyone be envious of someone like a Gates Musk or Bezos?

  41. But the question isn’t if crime pays.

It’s if the Clinton’s are guilty of so many crimes why there have never been criminal charges issued against them?

  42. It’s if the Clinton’s are guilty of so many crimes why there have never been criminal charges issued against them?

I know, it’s just so depressing.

  43. Gates has given away more of his own money the trump ever had in his entire life

Not a particular fan of his products but you can not fault gates personal ethics

  44. Trump is deeply stingy. Even his friend Roger Stone says that.

Trump went for years without donating anything at all to his own charity.

  45. It’s if the Clinton’s are guilty of so many crimes why there have never been criminal charges issued against them?

Because they’ve been shielded by the FBI and DOJ, parts of the permanent, deep state.

James Comey handled the investigation into the Clinton emails. The Inspector General today eviscerated him for his handling of that investigation.

Comey was promoted by the media for days when he wrote a book, a few months ago. That same media is now pretending to not know who he is.

  46. Jude – not on a whim, but in a deliberate political move to curry favor with anti Trump voters in NY. Again I don’t doubt his foundation has issues, but to only go after civil malfeasance seems a mistake. If it is not criminal the NY AG should have better things to concentrate on.

  47. As respects the Clinton Foundation, there are things that don’t look great, but there is no evidence or indication of crime of any kind that I can see.

The Uranium One yarn is so idiotic as to be laughable.

If there was any evidence of any crime, there could have been lawsuits or prosecution by state attorneys general. But there weren’t any.

  48. ok mahons

just some obs for you guys , esp the fact-shy like patty
The Clinton Foundation is not being sued by the Attorney General of New York.
The Trump Foundation is being sued by the Attorney General of New York.

The Clinton Foundation has an A rating.
The Trump Foundation was shut down.

  49. The Trump Foundation has not been shut down.

The fraudulent Trump University was shut down. I wonder what all the Trump professors are doing now.

  50. mahons

You are letting the perfect be the enemy of the good.

Aside from what would be protracted and very visible criminal prosecutions, you would do nothing about the fraud and self dealing that goes on at the Trump Foundation?

There are multiple weapons at the AG’s disposal, he should only use the nuclear one?

  51. oops is this right phantom
benghazi was a 4yr investigation and 0 indictmnets
hilarys emails was a 2yr investigation and 0 indictments
Muller investigation so far — ….. 23 indictments

  52. The Clinton Foundation is being investigated on suspicion of running a pay-to-play racket.

    Phantom –

I supplied you with the Trump Foundation’s response to the NY Democrat’s action. You are allowed to flag it up.

  53. Hillary should have been punished for her highly intentional misfiling of government records. She probably should have been prosecuted.

I have never downplayed that one, the way ” message ” Democrats always have.

It’s disturbing, not something that any honest person would ever have done.

  54. Because they’ve been shielded by the FBI and DOJ, parts of the permanent, deep state.

Yeah, I’ve heard that ‘theory’ before Pete. You’d think that with the huge amount of cash and legal expertise floating around the American right they’d be able to bring a civil case against them wouldn’t you?

  55. Paul –

What huge amount of cash and legal expertise on the American Right? Most of the Congressional GOP would line up with the Clintons against genuine conservatives.

Look, even Phantom – a hard-Left East Coast Democrat – is conceding that H. Clinton is dodgy here.

  56. a hard-Left East Coast Democrat –

How do you make two such major errors in so few words

  57. lol.

Is this where you pretend to be a Republican, Phantom? or are you “independent” ?? or just “objective” and “fact based??”

  58. Phantom: you don’t have much self-awareness, do you.

  59. Phantom –

What you think of yourself is irrelevant. I judge you by your words, and my assessment is spot on.

  60. Isn’t Trump a billionaire and doesn’t he have an army of lawyers?

  61. Well done Phantom. Trump and the Trumpistas are squealing like stuck pigs.

  62. I am a small c conservative who rejects the Democrat and Republican crime machines and who also rejects individual corruption in such cases as the Clintons and the entire Trump crime family.

I note that Pete changes his views any time a new charismatic American politician stumbles onto the stage ( Ron Paul one year, Donald Trump the next ) . I also note that neither he, nor Patrick, nor Patty have ever in my viewing criticized Trump for any matter, large or small, including Trump University, which is probably their alma mater.

  63. Here’s the deal: there are basically 3 political power bases now in the USA.

    1. Establishment. These are the “Elites” and this includes most of the DC media, most of the career bureaucrats in DC, and a large part of the Democrat and Republican parties (the Uniparty). These people are educated in the Ivy Leagues and consider themselves better, a cut above most ordinary Americans. They self-enrich through contacts, moving in and out of power circles – first in govt., then in media, maybe in think tanks etc. They work for themselves and also for lobbyists.

    2. Trump people: These are ordinary Americans and includes Republicans/Democrats/Independents. They have been ignored for the better part of 30 years. They have old fashion America values (hard work, law and order, honest, patriotic) and a “live and let live” attitude towards private lifestyle decisions. They have watched the country be hallowed out in the name of “free trade” which is really another form of colonialism – exploiting 3rd world countries for the enrichment of international company holders (the Elites) and they are fed up.

    3. Radical Left:

  64. “I am a small c conservative who rejects the Democrat and Republican crime machines and who also rejects individual corruption in such cases as the Clintons and the entire Trump crime family.”

omg. what are you smoking? you are a statist – with a big capital “s”

  65. “I also note that neither he, nor Patrick, nor Patty have ever in my viewing criticized Trump”

This is, in my opinion, a stupid way to gauge anything. What does it possibly matter if I criticize President Trump?

You can criticize Obama all you want, but your love of state , Big Govt. solutions reveal you to be a statist.

  66. “Trump and the Trumpistas are squealing like stuck pigs.”

    so deep!! lol

  67. How am I a supporter of big government?

Because I want to be sure that everyone is covered for health care, and that I don’t want them exposed to financial devastation if someone gets sick?

The Axis of Stupid is in favor not of big or small government, but supports stupid government, including sending my hard earned money to Israel and having presidents who start military wars against the wrong countries ( Bush ) or economic wars against the wrong countries ( Trump ) while cuddling up to dictators and murderers ( Trump )

  68. So deep!! lol

    Haters gonna hate

    This is so enjoyable 🙂

  69. Phantom – my concern is that it will be seen as a partisan effort and while possibly in the right the overall benefit seems slim. It also detracts from the more serious investigations and might result in the more serious one being portrayed as the same.

  70. According to Patty there are no hard working patriotic Americans who oppose Trump?

  71. This is so enjoyable

By golly the butt hurt when their Lord’s name is taken in vain!

  72. Yep.

    Donald J Trump = Kim Jong-un

The Trumpers here have nearly never criticized him for anything because Trump is the state and they worship the statist god-child

  73. mahons 1027

    Understood.

  74. Tarrifs = socialism.

  75. Tariffs are not Trump’s only intervention in the market

He had opposed the merger of ATT – Time Warner merger since he does not like Time Warner’s CNN

He wants Amazon to pay higher postage because he doesn’t like the politics of the Washington Post ( controlled like Amazon by Jeff Bezos )

Electric generating companies have been rapidly shifting away from old fashioned, polluting coal plants, moving to less polluting, modern cheap natural gas plants.

And there is much talk that Trump will force electric utilities to keep buying electricity from the old coal burning fossils, against their will.

Everywhere you look he is intervening in markets, picking winners and losers. He is not free market in any sense of the word. He is the complete opposite.

    https://nyti.ms/2LPlMnr

  76. The smallest gift the Trump Foundation dispersed was $7 to the Boy Scouts in 1989, when the registration fee was $7 and Don. Jr. was 11. The largest gift of $264,631 covered a fountain renovation outside Trump’s Plaza Hotel that enhanced the view.

  77. Oh my God.

    Cheap, thieving, completely stupid.

This guy is supposedly a billionaire and this is what he does?

  78. His closest prior association with the group appears to have come in 1989, when his charitable foundation made the smallest donation it ever gave—$7—to the Boy Scouts of America, as David Fahrenthold has reported. His son, Donald Trump Jr., turned 11 that year; $7 was then the cost of registering a new Scout.

If he’d read to the end of the Scout Law, he’d have learned that “a Scout is…reverent.” We could use some more reverence, I could tell you.

    https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2017/07/trumps-mistake-at-the-boy-scout-jamboree/534774/

This is the false idol that they prostrate themselves before. A guy who is too alligator-armed to pay his son’s Boy Scout membership fee, who loots it from a charity instead.

It’s like Warren Buffett pilfering $20 from a poor box at church, except that Buffett would never do that.

  79. The Trump Foundation statement isn’t even a non-denial, it’s pretty much a de facto admission they funneled money from donors into a nonprofit and back into into cherry picked special interest groups as a political quid pro quo.

  80. Yes the more serious one being portrayed as the same.

Thank you for the laugh of the day…..

I hope the Mueller investigation goes on for at least another year….. nothing exonerates Trump more. For two years they have been digging into Trump with a fine tooth comb. They have looked in every aspect of his campaign, business, and personal life.

Guese what ???? they haven’t found shit. They have nada, nothing, bupkis, on him. I would have never believed he was this clean. This guys an obnoxious dog, but he has not broken a single crime.

Everyone that has been charged with anything so far has had absolutely no involvement with Trump in what they have been charged for…. hell Manafort’s crimes he committed with the Podesta’s

They can’t find a single thing to charge Trump with, whod a thunk it….. lol

But with the first of 3 IG reports delivered today 5 former FBI officials are being recommended for criminal investigation for multiple crimes. Starting with Comey, Strzok, and Page.

This IG report was just the first of the 3 and revealed definit crimes were committed by Members of the FBI and DOJ.

McCabes indictment investigation for criminal misconduct has been under way, now 5 more will begin.

What does the Report say… that x did this crime and here’s how? NO It says the Agents and supervisors in the Hillary investigation broke procedures and laws in the way the investigation was conducted and these 5 were involved.

Which of 5 committed which exact crimes, and the motives need a full criminal investigation.

Things move at a snails pace, but the corruption of our justice system has been exposed and will be prosecuted.

and this is only the first of 3 reports.

  81. Yes.

Including targeted donations to groups in Iowa just before the Iowa caucuses.

I respect where mahons is coming from, but I disagree – this demands action on the part of an attorney general, otherwise there shouldn’t be attorneys general. And it won’t come from the Florida AG Pam Bondi, because she’s compromised – Trump gave significant money to her campaign. She should have prosecuted the Mar A Lago incident, but she won’t prosecute her buddy.

I just don’t see how any honest person can say that there isn’t evidence of crime / misconduct / breach of any and all fiduciary duties here.

This is open fraud, no grey area at all.

  82. The Russians are coming! The Russians are coming!

    then, Stormy Daniels! Stormy Daniels!

    then, racism! racism!

then, WWIII, WWIII! too many tweets!!! He’s a meanie!!! He’s orange!!!
    now, Charitable Foundation!!! Charitable foundation!!!

meanwhile, full employment, happy stock market, confident consumers, strengthening military – why even the VA is getting an overhaul!!!

I’m sorry, Uniparty and Far Left, but until you actually address THE ISSUES people care about, you will continue to seem unhinged and not relevant.

  83. So Phantom ask yourself a question, the NYAG office has had this info for several years. The previous AG was a much better prosecutor (when he was wasn’t beating women) and he didn’t go forward with it even though he went after Trump several times….

What’s changed with the case that now makes it viable?

  84. There is zero evidence that Bill and Melinda Gates or Warren Buffett engaged in any of this looting of charities or other fraud.

We’ve been here before and I have no problem with reviewing the facts, and what a thread which features a Turkish biology journal:

    http://www.atangledweb.org/?p=55113

It can be seen that the toxic ‘food’ that the Gates Foundation invests in is so toxic that he won’t let it near his premises.

The correct term for Gates and Buffett’s practices is ‘leveraged philanthropy’:

    http://blogs.edweek.org/teachers/living-in-dialogue/2012/07/the_gates_foundations_leverage.html

For example, chemical giant Monsanto has partnered with the Gates Foundation, which reportedly works to suppress local seed exchanges and environmentally sustainable agricultural practices through its global agricultural charity work. Fraud-prone drug giant GlaxoSmithKline is a partner in the Foundation’s work to leverage its own relatively fractional contribution to vaccination efforts, so that it centrally controls enormous world funds for purchase, pricing, and delivery of vaccines for world public health. And in its U.S. education reform charity work, the Gates Foundation has increasingly shifted its funding to promote market domination by its British corporate education services partner, Pearson Education.

The Gates Foundation, and Gates personally, also own stock and reap profits from many of these same partner corporations. In addition, the Foundation owns a profit-generating portfolio of stocks which would seem to work against the Foundation’s declared missions, such as the Latin American Coca-Cola FEMSA distributorship and five multinational oil giants operating in Nigeria. These corporate investments, now moved to a blind trust whose trustees are Bill and Melinda Gates, are collaterally supported by the Foundation’s tax-free lobbying and advocacy activities.

I saw this in action recently when David Cameron was PM. Gates and Cameron were gladhanding following the PM’s announcement that the British government was going to donate several £million to some project that the Gates Foundation was involved in. Needless to say, the UK government’s contribution was much larger than that of the GF AND the direct suppliers of the drugs for the venture were companies in which the GF was heavily invested.

This is theft, fraud, leveraged philanthropy, whatever – these are thieves and conmen.

  85. Nothing?

I thought so….. just another NY wacko…. “I’m gonna take down the President”….. no one could write comedy like this…..

but hey god bless her if he broke the law I hope she gets him.

  86. The NY AG office has a lot of work to do. And during that time, they did bring down the fake Trump University.

If the allegations are verified, does it impact your support of Trump in any way?

  87. oh he didn’t get around to it….. yeah ok

  88. If they can find any crime Trump has committed I want them to prosecute him.

I give no one a pass especially someone holding the office of President. That is why there are redundancies like vice presidents etc etc…

So far though they are shooting blanks at Trump and 50 cal bullseyes on the FBI/DOJ

  89. Yes and they did a great job running the foundation

As pure as the driven snow

  90. This latest attack on Trump is part of the percussive assault and continues from the failed ‘Russian meddling’ effort. But those behind these attacks have not thought this one through for, if Trump’s Foundation is able to manipulate tax exemptions and channel money to his benefit, so can all Foundations. These Foundations are a tax-wheeze for billionaire shysters and must be ended. The tax exemptions are worth $trillions and merely end up in the pockets of the rich – and this attack could make their practices visible to the public.

  91. Yes Phantom

It’s fun to watch the Trumpistas keep squealing when their hero is exposed for the useless charlatan-jerk that he is. Let’s recap:

    A serial compulsive liar
    A serial adulterer
A petulant narcissist who reneges on a G7 agreement with a Twitter tantrum from Airforce One
A part-time president who spends hours every day watching TV and every weekend on the golf course

    And the rest.

Kim whatever his name is will have no confidence in the “deal” signed this week being honoured. It could be dead in the water tomorrow if Trumpo has second thoughts after watching Fox and Freinds and unleashes another Twitter barrage. And if that happens, his groupies hereabouts will lap it up as always.

  92. What’s changed with the case that now makes it viable?

Good question Patrick. Funny how it came out the same day as the IG report!

  93. the case has been in the hands of the NYAG for over 2 years, the prior AG couldn’t make a case of it, but today all of a sudden it’s viable…..

  94. Blake Farenthold made it viable when he broke the story on the Trump Foundation’s shady dealings last year. He also won a Pulitzer for that solid reporting.

Do you Trumpkins believe AG offices have nothing better to do than investigate fraudulent charitable foundations?

  95. Yes and two years is such a long time ago

If the AG had brought the case two years ago, the Trumper’s would’ve said that he was trying to influence the election

It’s never the right time to investigate fraud against your buddy, because he’s your buddy.

  96. If you think the investigations of YOUR side only arise because of politics or “witch hunts,” consider that some of your side’s prominent figures seem to get investigated much more than others, and why that might be.

  97. Phantom

I know you don’t normally click on links, but you might like my posting on Happy Birthday Mr President.

  98. If Tom Steyer had any sense, he’d buy ad time on Fox with nothing but POTUS saluting a North Korean officer over and over.

  99. And to sum up the IG report today; Justice Dept Inspector General concluded that bias did NOT affect Clinton email investigation, that FBI had PROPER reasons for declining to prosecute her, and that the only improper actions influencing 2016 election were actions that damaged Clinton, not Trump.

So much for the deep state bullshit.

  100. And back on topic… somehow, the Trump Foundation, which is essentially a wooden shack with the sign “Do Crimes Here” attached, received an order of magnitude less scrutiny than the Clinton Foundation, which at least did actual charitable work.

  101. Daphne…..

    have you been drinking?

If not please provide any link that shines light on what you’re talking about…. I know you wouldn’t lie.

  102. Do you Trumpkins believe AG offices have nothing better to do than investigate fraudulent charitable foundations?

Evidently they don’t, because they are?

  103. Hey Patrick! I think I may have some fight left in me yet!

  104. One thing the IG report did reveal was a reason why comey couldn’t prosecute her for her felony avoidance of the Federal Records Act….. it seams he was committing the same felony and was using a private email off the of the official government network to do government business he didn’t want monitored.

  105. I know you do Charles….

  106. What needs to be repeated over and over:

“Trump is “not ever going to become president, right? Right?!” Page texted to Strzok.

“No. No he won’t. We’ll stop it,” Strzok responded.

An FBI agent says “We’ll stop it.” Chilling words.

  107. My bad, David Farenthold.

Blake Farenthold (TX R) sticks in the brain after he sexually assaulted a staffer, paid her off to the tune of $80K with tax payer dollars and refused to reimburse the government after he abruptly resigned after coming under investigation and censure.

So many wonderful folks representing the GOP these days.

  110. Whatever…you seem to like shady politicians when they’re on your side of the aisle.

    Hypocrite.

  111. how do you figure that Daphne?

I have said repeatedly anyone found committing any crime no matter what side of the aisle they should be prosecuted and persecuted.

    seriously have you been drinking?

  112. I understand that we are rooting for different things here but I have not been rude to you, I certainly haven’t lied about anything you stand for….

Why do you feel it necessary to make up lies and call me a Hypocrite…..?

  113. So far we’ve got an FBI agent treasonously talking about subverting an election, a fact deliberately hidden from us until now, and confirmation that Hillary exposed secret documents to foreign actors. And an FBI director was committing the same Felony he was investigating her for using a privet email to hide from the records act…… Any other pickles coming off this nothingburger report?

  114. If the appropriate government agency (IRS, Federal Election Commission)decides it is likely the Trump Foundation committed crimes they should be charged. In addition to serving justice it would send a powerful message to anyone else who uses charitable foundations in such a way. The Trumps probably set up this foundation as a way to dodge taxes. The word charity and Trump do not go together, but Trump and dodging taxes do go together if you recall the missing tax returns.

  115. The word charity and Trump do not go together,

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn’t President Trump donate his Presidential salary to charities?.

  116. Pat you do truth a huge disservice, stick with facts
    Benghazi hearing 4yrs NO indictments
Hilary emails 2 yrs NO indictment
Muller 14 months in already 23 indictments

the rest of your spiel is grumbling, what-aboutery, nit picking, whining, trying to weave unwind unravel the past .. its a futile exercise.
All that matters all that counts are the figures – the numbers – THE TRUTH in other words

    0,0,and 23 ..

  118. Yes, like that laughable Uranium One bullshit.

  119. I have said repeatedly anyone found committing any crime no matter what side of the aisle they should be prosecuted and persecuted.

Pat, same question to you as Pete ignored above,

If the Clintons are guilty of so many crimes why haven’t criminal charges been brought against them?

  120. People who are innocent should be imprisoned at the will of the Tyrant, if they bother him.

    Constitution 2.0, Trump Style.

That manliness obviously doesn’t extend to the fact you have been banned not once, but twice from ATW, so it’s plainly obvious you can’t take a hint very well.

  127. any justice here you’d be banned Harri
3 useless posts in a row just shit-stirring immature crap

President Donald Trump stunned his fellow world leaders at the G7 meeting when he said he would ship “25 million” Mexicans to Japan, which would result in Prime Minister Shinzo Abe losing his next election.

“Shinzo, you don’t have this problem, but I can send you 25 million Mexicans and you’ll be out of office very soon,” Trump said, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing a senior EU official who was in the room.

    But I haven’t been banned..ever.

    You have twice.

Do you think it might just be you?.

  131. Pat you do truth a huge disservice, stick with facts
    Benghazi hearing 4yrs NO indictments
Hilary emails 2 yrs NO indictment
Muller 14 months in already 23 indictments

Benghazi and email have been proven to have been fixed by a corrupt DOJ under Barack Obama, kind of hard to get indictments when the cops are are part of the crime.

Meller 23 indictments NOT ONE related to Trump, or Collusion …..

Keep trying Jude someday you’ll find a clue.

  132. Jude.

Do you think it appropriate for someone who claims to work in the NHS mental health, calling folk “retards”?.

    Just how stupid are you?.

  133. Pat,

If the Clintons are guilty of so many crimes why haven’t criminal charges been brought against them?

  134. Keep trying Jude someday you’ll find a clue.

I wouldn’t bank on that one.

    Stupid does, what stupid do.

  135. Paul Manafort tampering with witnesses, trying to get his story straight, so as to take the heat off, judge had to keep him in custody .. the noose is certainly tightening .
Gotta love the way Trump distances himself in interviews about these guys who were once tight with him, he’s almost disowned his lawyer . the behaviour is exactly what you’d expect from a crime lord a mafiosa type .. still shocking .. he’s the POTUS ..

  136. how many of you understand what took place at the G7 ? Oh none of you…. I thought so.

First proposal on the table offered up by the US. That ALL Tariffs between the 7 countries be eliminated…. the Euroweenies shit themselves and said no.

Second and final offer “fine you tariff ANY of our goods we tariff your goods….. Now lets see who wins”

  137. I was on the Brighton & Hove mental health website today.

No matter how hard I searched, nowhere do they seem to label people as “retards”.

    Jude.

    Maybe you can enlighten us?.

  138. Everything involving Manafort including what he was tampering witnesses about is about crimes he committed when he worked with the Democrat Podesta Brothers ten years ago……

  139. Harri , shut up you’re on ignore
you’re set to ruin the threads AGAIN for everyone
I have said nothing to you all day then you’re vicious attacks in the last hour
shows you have no interest in debate or how your behaviour effects other

Harri you’re a bore , now fuck off

sorry guys I have a deranged stalker that won’t leave me alone, follows me on threads

No one cares about you, you old whingy whining gammon.

Mind the door don’t hit you on the arse on the way out.

  142. Pat,

If the Clintons are guilty of so many crimes why haven’t criminal charges been brought against them?

    Third time lucky?

  143. I have said nothing to you all day then you’re vicious attacks in the last hour

    Bwaaaaaaaaaa!

    Jude.

Once again, you claim to work in mental health care, in Brighton & Hove, do you seriously believe it appropriate to label people as “retards”.

Just how low is that bar set at Brighton & Hove mental health?.

    Oh, the irony!.

    😏

  147. I have said repeatedly anyone found committing any crime no matter what side of the aisle they should be prosecuted and persecuted.

    Yeah right Patrick.

And as soon as your hero’s charity is charged with fraud you bitch like hell. “Political witch-hunt, yada yada yada…”

  148. Aw shucks, say it ain’t so:

“Donald Trump’s former campaign manager Paul Manafort has had his bail revoked by a Washington DC judge and has been ordered to jail pending trial. Robert Mueller, who is investigating alleged Russian election interference, accuses him of trying to tamper with potential witnesses before the trial.

Mr Manafort was accused of using encrypted mobile phone apps to contact people in breach of his bail terms. He faces charges of tax fraud, money laundering, and illegal lobbying.”

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-44500034

  149. There is no doubt that Trump and the crime family have done very unethical things with the charity, including using it for political gain ( targeted contributions in Iowa right before the caucuses, as directed by campaign staff ) and using the charity to settle his business debts ( flagpole dispute with the town, Mar A Lago )

Even if not criminal acts for them personally, grossly unethical.

Yet not one word of criticism from any of them.

Didn’t they used to pretend that they wanted to drain the swamp?

  150. “Swampy Trumpy” has a ring to it for sure.

  151. Yet not one word of criticism from any Trump supporters here.

  152. The facts aren’t in dispute at all. They’re all documented. In the case of the Mar A Lago cleverness, the moron Trump has it documented in his own handwriting

  153. Looks like he’ll have to pardon his foundation.

  154. I hope that Trump is a modern-day Samson and uses the corruption (if true) of his ‘Foundation’ to bring down the criminal edifice of all ‘foundations’ which are a tax-evasion system for the very rich and powerful.

  155. Samson didn’t loot from charities

And many charities do very fine work.

  156. And though Trump would like to be a dictator like Putin or Kim Jong Un, he’s not one yet.

He has no power to shut down foundations / charities

  157. In other news, the top six candidates for Tennessee governor, four Republicans and two Democrats, are all campaigning against Trump’s damaging tariffs.

  158. North Dakota farmers are going to get it good and hard.

It’s what they MAGA voted for!

  159. China and India are unfair traders, and something needed to be done, but Trump by attacking fair traders as well as unfair ones , Trump has clumsily made any resolution harder, any pain, worse

And he has led many more than before in Europe and Canada to realize that the US is not a reliable partner. Something that is now clearly true. The US can’t be trusted at this point.

  160. The Canadian news is full of lists of American made goods not to buy and stories of canceled trips to the US. I don’t know how effective the government to government tariffs will be but the grass roots kick back will surely be noticed. Empty hotels and malls will get attention. I have heard many Australians are also canceling trips to the states and I wonder how many other countries citizens are taking unofficial action

  161. I have memories of how many Canadians made a special effort to visit a struggling NYC in late 2001- 2002.

And now this worthless excuse for a president has harmed the relationship, for no good reason at al,
