Let’s be more European …

Foreign criminals sentenced to deportation are to be banished to a remote island off the coast of Denmark, the country’s government has announced.

Finance minister Kristian Jensen said the criminals will be detained at a facility on Lindholm, an uninhabited seven-hectare island in the province of Vordingborg.

The tough scheme was set up as part of an agreement between Denmark’s conservative coalition government and its anti-immigration ally, the Danish People’s Party (DF).

The DF’s official Twitter account celebrated the announcement by publishing an animated cartoon which shows a dark-skinned man being dumped by a ship on a desert island.

My compliments to the Danish People’s Party on a great win for the Danish people. There is something grossly repugnant in committing serious crimes in someone else’s country. Over and above the crime itself, the idea that another country’s laws can be disregarded ought to invite exemplary punishments.

We have thousands of islands in these here British Isles. I look forward to the day that a patriotic government likewise separates foreign criminals prior to a swift kick up the arse back to the dump they came from.

  1. Punishing criminals?. Particularly immigrant criminals.

I think the liberal progressives might just have something to say about that.

  2. The Danes require a new Great Heathen Army.

Otherwise, sooner or later, they will end up like poor old Sweden.

  3. I hope they enjoy the wintertime there.

  4. Maybe those criminals should be sent to Brussels?.

They might get the message then.

  5. Whilst I support the move to relocate foreign criminals somewhere neither they or the law abiding populace will come into contact, I think it a bit much to celebrate with the cartoon.

As has been mention, doing the same here would be a very positive move.

  6. Sending foreign criminals to an Island prison. It all sounds good, but what would we do if the president’s plane crashed there. How would we rescue him?

  7. Simple, Dave. You send in Snake Plisken. Though I heard he was dead…

  10. Seimi ans Phantom beat me to it….

one of my favorite actors and definitely a cult classic movie….. I just put it on in the background

  11. Nice one guys. 😁

Seimi. I believe rumours of snake’s death, have been greatly exaggerated. 😁

  12. Good idea from the Danes. The rest of Europe should follow suit. Yesterday another 17-year-old girl found naked and strangled to death in a refugee centre an hour’s drive from where I live. If her murderer is like all the other refugee murderers, he’ll already have had a string of convictions to his name.

The Danish island will save at least some people’s lives.

  13. It’s a great idea from the Danes..

But they are going to need a much bigger island.
