  1. Patty check your spelling.

  2. All this rioting I don’t understand it… these people want these policies.

The Tax increase on the Fuel is to Fund the War on Man Made Climate Change. Don’t these people want to save the planet????

  3. Not a misspell, Patrick.

“Citoyens” is the French word for “citizen” and I was alluding to the French national anthem, The Marseillaise, which has the very famous lyrics:

    Aux armes, Citoyens!!

    Translation: Arm Yourselves, Citizens!!

  4. Patrick: I put “aux armes” in the title instead of the body of the post so as not to confuse.

  5. sorry as prone as I am to spelling perfection I still confuse easily….. 🙁

  6. now that the fog of the mystery called language has cleared and I add my repeated attitude that I believe should be everyone’s attitude

    F**k the French….

What you are witnessing is a revolt of the middle class in France. These riots aren’t the riff raff these are the people that work screaming this is enough take your phoney global climate and shove it…..

  7. I happen to love the French. I wish them no ill. Sorry.

  8. I would expect nothing else….. very few see things in the same light as me

  9. Good post though.

I don’t know where you are in Cali Patty I hope the fires didn’t touch you, you’ve been in my prayers. Hope you’re well.

  10. ↑ 🙂

  11. I see Patrick can not spell in two languages. What is the opposite of bilingual?

  12. Whatever the merits of the Yellow Protests complaints their violent acts should not be encouraged, especially with a call for them to be further violent. Their desecration of the Arc was inexcusable.

  13. There’s a very large element of “Occupy Wall Street” stuff in the Yellow protests.

It’s mad to see right-wingers support them, but then again we live in mad times.

  14. Occupy Wall Street was organized and supported by the global elites. Occupiers were not blue collar workers.

Yellow jacket protest in France is against the global elites. Rioters are blue collar workers.

So-called “right wingers” like Pat and me are pro-blue collar and against elite globalists.

  15. Occupiers were not blue collar workers.

Absolutely correct. I saw them over time in NYC. They were sociology department rejects and bums, very bad people who had no respect for the neighborhood or for anyone else who wanted to use that public space.

  16. Occupy Wall Street = Soros = Globalism

“Occupy Wall Street” was against “Wall Street” like “Antifa” is against “fascism.” Not.

  17. Agree, Phantom.

Occupy Wall Street = Antifa = anarchists

  18. // Rioters are blue collar workers.//

Patty, Rioters not = blue collar workers. Rioters generally = rebels without cause = Occupy.

    Patty’s report = wrong

    Noel – information = Patty

  19. lol. finally. some beat poetry.

  20. Mahons – Nonolingual?

  21. “Occupy Wall Street = Soros = Globalism”

“Occupy Wall Street = Antifa = anarchists”

So they support giving power to a global elite but are also anarchists?

that’s the word thank you Seimi I’ll steal that one I’m a Nonolingual Knuckledraggin Conservative. I can work with that 😉

  24. and macron caves…..

In announcing the decision, Prime Minister Edouard Philippe said anyone would have “to be deaf or blind” not to see or hear the roiling anger on the streets over a policy that Macron has defended as critical to combating climate change.

  25. The anger as I read wasn’t directed at Climate Change issues but in putting the burden of paying for it on the working folks.
