We have a Real Problem

By Patrick Van Roy On January 14th, 2019

Dishonesty and corruption are endemic at the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The latest proof comes in a New York Times report that the FBI initiated an investigationin May of 2017 into whether President Donald Trump was serving as a covert Russian agent.  The accusation itself was ludicrous on its face.  But from a legal standpoint, the FBI’s probe constituted an egregious abuse of power.  The Bureau had no probable cause, no evidence, and no reasonable suspicions.  They investigated Trump because they could.  They defied the law, ignored or perverted facts, and debased the integrity of a heretofore-respected law enforcement agency.

Why did these rogue officials commit such an outrageous act of malfeasance? In a word, vengeance.  Already incensed that Trump had defeated their preferred candidate, Hillary Clinton, they grew furious when the president fired Director James Comey on May 9, 2017. In reaction, they sought retribution. What better way to avenge Comey’s firing than to launch a counterintelligence investigation of Trump under the false pretense that he committed treasonous acts for the benefit of the Kremlin and at the direction of President Vladimir Putin. Absent credible proof, information could be manipulated to frame Trump while a compliant media would gobble up the leaks and report the damaging charge. The election results could then be undone when the president was driven from office.

Whether you hate Trump, or hate Hillary it should make no difference in the fear this information should instill in you. The FBI had no probable cause, no evidence, and no reasonable suspicions.  They investigated Trump because they could.  They defied the law, ignored or perverted facts, and debased the integrity of a heretofore-respected law enforcement agency.

There is nothing in the world more dangerous than corrupt Law Enforcement. Add to it the abilities of a FEDERAL Law Enforcement agency and what you have is the KGB.

All the corruption ties back to McCabe, Comey, Rosenstein, Stroke, and Page. They fixed crimes committed by the Clintons and with no Authority started an investigation into her political opponent Trump. A Federal Police Force that is not restrained by the Law is a threat to our society.

The 5 People listed above should be tried for Treason.

  1. As the investigation of Trump’s Administration gets tighter and tighter we can expect more of this hysteria to continue.

  2. “The FBI had no probable cause, no evidence, and no reasonable suspicions. “

    And you know this how?

” Federal Police Force that is not restrained by the Law is a threat to our society.”

It is restrained by law. Where have they been shown to break the law, or not be restrained by it?

“The 5 People listed above should be tried for Treason.”

Treason? Their job is to protect the United States, from all enemies – foreign and domestic. Their job is not to do what your Master bids them.

  3. And just as a little fact check on your (Gregg Jarrett regurgitated) arguments:

    https://www.politifact.com/punditfact/article/2018/aug/02/fact-checking-fox-news-analysts-pro-trump-book-rus/

  4. What hysteria Mahons I have been saying this group is corrupt and need to go to jail since they rigged the hillary case. They’re corrupt cops and need to be burned in the public square…..

Here ya go another thing this group has been up to.

For months now, the Department of Justice (DOJ) quietly has been working on a revision to its guidelines governing how, when and why prosecutors can obtain the records of journalists, particularly in leak cases.

The work has been supervised by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein’s office

They need to be prosecuted, we need public hearings on them, Yates, Obama’s ag (my mind went blank) cant oh Lynch, these people have unbelievable power that can be wielded against any American citizen and destroy their lives. They are doing so, without a crime, without a warrant.

Research what they did to suzan atkinsin.

I could care less about Obama, and the Clintons history will deal with them both. I want these dirty cops heads on a pike outside on the courthouse steps.

(metaphorically of course, no threats to anyone) They need to tried for sedition.

  5. politifact is not a fact checking site it is a democrat spin company.

  6. So tell me Seamus would you like to go over gregg jarrett and sara’s articles one by one and show my why they are wrong?

    Pick one……

  7. “politifact is not a fact checking site it is a democrat spin company.”

Aye because Fox News is the height of responsible fact checking.

  8. Gentleman I know my views are biased, I freely admit it… you can’t.

I also can defend every charge I’ve made against the clintons and the DOJ/FBI with incidents of action, and laws against those incidents.

I ask you back your bias up with a crime…. a hint of a crime… and a law that says it’s a crime. That’s all I ask to defend your strongly held beliefs. Just put up examples.

  9. “I also can defend every charge I’ve made against the clintons”

    Such as?

he DOJ/FBI with incidents of action, and laws against those incidents.”

    Such as?

    “I ask you back your bias up with a crime…. a hint of a crime… and a law that says it’s a crime. “

I’m not saying he committed a crime. I’m saying that the investigation should be allowed to run its course. Neither you, nor I, are qualified to say he has committed a crime or hasn’t committed a crime. Let Robert Mueller do his job.

  10. Aye because Fox News is the height of responsible fact checking.

Fox News doesn’t lie and say it’s not biased, it also doesn’t advertise itself as a “fact checking” company (although that is supposed to be the job of the press)

politifact does, it advertises itself as a “fact checker” a truth meter…. which has been proven time and time again to get those “facts” wrong, but it’s ok they only seem to do it on people with an R by their name….

  11. Patrick, as O-Cortez said to Anderson Cooper on CNN, “facts don’t matter when you hold the moral high ground.” Of course he didn’t follow up.

  12. “politifact does, it advertises itself as a “fact checker” a truth meter…. which has been proven time and time again to get those “facts” wrong, but it’s ok they only seem to do it on people with an R by their name….”

Such as? Where has it been proven wrong?

  13. Seamus my friend you are caught up in a fight between me and the NY contingent.

My shots are not directed at you.

When you first came to this site you were a friggin pain in the ass, over the years especially the last you’ve shown yourself to be a smart formidable debater and a damn good researcher. Someone I enjoy reading.

Phantoms Mahons and NYr are arrogant, and wrong.

If I stepped on you toes it was just because you stepped in the way, nothing intentional.

  14. not to continue an argument but my view of politifact or any of these sites is shared. here is a debate on NPR about the topic.
    https://www.npr.org/2012/01/10/144974110/political-fact-checking-under-fire

And they found that of the 98 statements that PolitiFact had rated false, 74 of them were by Republicans. Now, I can think of a number of reasons why you might cite one party over the other more, in terms of, you know, who was telling the truth and who wasn’t. But doing that at a rate of three to one strikes me as awfully suspicious, particularly when, if you delve into the specifics of the statements that they cited, there’s all kinds of problematic things contained there, whereas they are, you know, like you’re mentioned, they’re often fact-checking opinions and providing counter-arguments to, you know, stated opinions.

  15. Of course that doesn’t mean that the statements made by the Republicans are not false. It could be that they just didn’t analyse the same number of Democratic statements. What would be interesting would be a breakdown of the total number of opinions analysed and a study to show what proportion of Republican statements are false and what proportion of Democratic statements are false.

  16. over the years especially the last you’ve shown yourself to be a smart formidable debater and a damn good researcher. Someone I enjoy reading

PVR, Let me echo your sentiments. Seamus really knows his stuff, and has changed my mind on a couple of issues. His comments are a pleasure to read.

  17. Cheers lads.

  18. I’m thankful the FBI has been doing its job to protect national security and track possible criminal behavior. We do not know what the FBI knows and it is foolish to pretend otherwise. The FBI had the approval of the DOJ and both are overseen by Congress. The system is working as it should.

  19. //They investigated Trump because they could. They defied the law//

    ??

If they were entitled to investigate Trump, how could they be defying the law?

  20. this article adds to my post…..

    https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/mark-penn-fbi-trump-russia-investigation-shows-deep-state-was-worse-than-we-thought

  21. If they were entitled to investigate Trump, how could they be defying the law?

they weren’t entitled to Noel, No Crime, No Probable Cause, No evidence….. what they did was

deprivation of rights under color of law

  22. Oh the Deep State done it.

  23. so you didn’t bother to read the article you just made up your mind by it’s title….

    How typical of your effort.

  24. An opinion piece, from Fox, cited by you as proof. It must be true! The Deep State is to blame!

  25. Ok Mahons my god what was I thinking….. I bow to the all knowing New York Lawyer because you’ve explained the 17 million paid out with tax payer money to pay off nuisence cases and you’ve ran so many campaigns yourself…..

    what was I thinking….

    You’re a Hack Mahons

Records are sealed because the money is paid to silence whatever the politician wants silenced. No details can be posted because congress won’t release the details.

I gave you two pieces one from a former head of the FEC written in the Liberal Washington Post and one written for Fox news. 1 left 1 right, both that agree with me…. but with your vast campaign experience you know better I mean after all you work in New York City.
