SENATE INTEL COMMITTEE: IT’S A NOTHINGBURGER

By Pete Moore On February 12th, 2019

After two years, hundreds of interviews, millions of words, the hopes and dreams of the mentally ill raised the world over, the Senate Intelligence Committee has not uncovered any direct evidence of a conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Wow, it’s as if it was all made up.

  1. They did uncover collusion with Russia only it was the Democrats and Hillary Campaign that colluded.

We have Democrats who are never held accountable and then we have Repubs. who are punished for nothing.

And that, my friends, is what we have today.

Oh….and the fact that Hillary is STILL NOT my President!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!

  2. Oh….and the fact that Hillary is STILL NOT my President!!!

In the same vein as Diana Spencer Hillary is the people’s President.

  3. Hillary got more votes, but she is not loved by most voters, not even by most Democrats.

She managed to lose to a reality show imposter.

The left wing of the party regard her as a grifter and corporatist.

She has her fans, but maybe less than you think.

  4. Phantom, the woman’s a war mongering imbecile who I’d be happy to tie up in a weighted sack and throw into a river. I’ll say one good thing about her though, she’s not the POTUS.

  5. It’s interesting to me how quickly the Dems discarded her, and replaced her with the know nothing AOC. As much as I dislike her personally, she was a New York Senator, and a fairly good one, as well as Secretary of State. Yet the Democrats throw her out like a one night stand!

  6. Yes.

That’s how awful the choice was the last time around.

There were decent Republican candidates in the primaries ( John Kasich, Marco Rubio ) but the primary voters chose the man who bragged about his dick and who accused Cruz’s father of murdering JFK. They actually fell in love with such a personality.

The Dems didn’t have anyone at all. Bernie wasn’t anything.

  7. Charles

She lost a race that was impossible to lose. She got outworked and out thought politically by the likes of Trump.

    She choked.

The Democrats also turned their backs on Jimmy Carter, when he lost. Even though Carter was a good president in some ways. There is the myth that he was a bad one and people remember the myth.

  8. Charles it’s not the Democrats that are always pushing AOC to the front of the line it’s Republicans she owns the hearts and minds of the right whackadoodle right

  9. Phantom, I still think her health was not up to snuff for the rough and tumble of a Presidential race (and I say that as somebody who getting out of be in the morning is seen as a triumph of the will!).

She thought she had it in the bag, and it wasn’t. Say what you like about Trump, but he out-worked her.

I think history will be kinder to Carter than his generation was.

  10. AOC is Democrat Trump. A moron with a big twitter following, who is firmly of the belief that all publicity is good publicity. So when she says something really stupid, and gets reported in the news as being really stupid, then she takes that as a win.

  11. E.P.

AOC is certainly in our heads!

  12. Charles

Yes she had health issues that she lied about

And Trump worked his ass off, campaigning from morning to night.

    Seamus

    Yes AOC is Democrat Trump.

A big part of Trump’s appeal to men and women is sexual in some seriously messed up way – it always was. As a young man, he was very good looking.

And AOC has great sex appeal. On a scale of 1 to 100, she’s 100.

  13. Seamus

Yes. It seems we’re stuck in a cult of personality cycle more appropriate for Lady Gaga than for elected leaders.

Give me the likes of a Barry Goldwater or a Daniel Patrick Moynihan any day, not the present crop.

  14. Give me Mike Bloomberg.

Too sensible for the Dems or Republican brain deads but I think that he would be good for the nation.

He is a bit of a control freak, but I’d live with that.

He is a hugely successful self made billionaire, who was a very good mayor of a hard to govern NYC. He shares the credit with Giuliani for all the good things that happened here since the 1980s

  15. Excuse me. I didn’t hear the apologies. That would be the apologies for the hysterics over the Russian collusion with Trump. Did I miss them?

All of you Lefties on here claiming that “where there is smoke, there is fire….” etc. etc. etc. etc

2 years of this crap. A simple apology, no?

  16. Collusion delusion lol.

  17. Patty

All of you Lefties on here claiming that “where there is smoke, there is fire….” etc. etc. etc. etc

The only leftist here is Petr, And he has not been on for a while

And who was it that said that, anyway?

It’s you guys who were obsessing over this thing.

The rest of us have limited our comment to what a thief and dingbat your president has been, etc. I believe we’ve been very restrained

  18. Phantom, that’s a whole lot of cognitive dissonance that you carry around. Not good for health, children or other living things.

  19. I may well be mistaken, But I can’t recall major Trump critics here making a big deal about illegal collusion

You guys banged the drum on it every week

  20. Apologies for what, they haven’t cleared the Administration of wrongdoing.

  21. Yes – it was a lie……..but it was an honest, well-intentioned lie 😉

  22. Hillary Clinton is vile traitorous scum that sold every secret she could while allowing all the rest to stolen when she committed a felony and set up her own communication system to illegally avoid oversight right down to destroying 33,000 subpoenaed email and smashing blackberries and cell phones with hammers so no information could be retrieved.

As Secretary of State she allowed our Ambassador to sell guns to illegal combatants in Syria while refusing him enough personnel guards to keep him from being dragged dead through the streets…. but hey what difference does it make… she got 120% of the inner city vote… she was robbed!

  23. Baloney

And a lot of US governments sold guns to illegal combatants and terrorists

You may have heard of Ronald Reagan,

  24. We have a severe problem…. we have 5 top FBI officials, 2 top DOJ officials one former head of the CIA. and the former head of the NSA all that have lied under oath and falsified evidence while engaging in Sedition……

They ALL need to go to Jail.

  25. How many Ambassadors got dragged through the streets under Reagan?

  26. You say baloney Phantom name one thing I wrote that isn’t true.

  27. He gave weapons to the terrorists In Afghanistan and in Central America

He was a state sponsor of terrorism

    Let’s just agree on that

  28. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MMzd40i8TfA

  29. I know it’s no secrets That she sold to any bad actor

There are many legitimate grounds to criticize her on – no need to make stuff up

  30. What does anything Reagan did or didn’t do have to do with Hillary’s crimes and failures……?

    Not a damn thing.

  31. What have I made up…. be specific

  32. Ambassadors not dragged through the street under raygun, Canada accepts your gratitude

  33. Canada accepts your gratitude…. it should

  34. still waiting Phantom

What have I made up…. be specific

  35. She Didn’t sell any secrets

And your bit on gun running is complete bullshit. I didn’t hear you complain about Reagan doing it.

If you’re going to insult everybodys intelligence with this, Why not throw in some uranium one malarkey

  36. On this thread or another?

  37. Is this going to be the norm?

The incumbent POTUS from day 1 being investigated by his own Justice Department from day 1, not for anything he/she has done but for what he/she may have done. Or is this just for a Republican President?

Do you Americans on here appreciate how ridiculous your country and your legal system look to the outside world? I know you don’t care, as you see yourselves as the bee’s knees (USA USA USA), but honestly your are a fucking joke.

  38. The incumbent POTUS from day 1 being investigated by his own Justice Department from day 1, not for anything he/she has done but for what he/she may have done. Or is this just for a Republican President?

    Just for Republican Presidents.

  39. Many US regimes have run guns to guerillas of various types in Asia and the Americas

But the fakes phonies and frauds are only offended to this one instance

  40. And before anyone has a go about the UK and Brexit, I agree!

  41. She didn’t sell secrets…… had she get 145 Million in Russian Donations to her charity?

Why did she destroy records, cell phones?

Why did she set up an illegal communication network that she destroyed with Acid?

You dismiss these things as if they are nothing… if her name was Gambino she’d be looking at the chair. You can’t say she didn’t sell secrets and the circumstantial evidence says she did.

After 9/11 this policy ended until it was started back up by John McCain and Hillary Clinton.

  43. I’ve always had a problem with her intentionally keeping bad records and hiding correspondence

It is very possible that she should’ve gone to jail for that

The Democrats – all of them – are to be condemned for downplaying that matter

But you are making things up and Presenting your fantasies as fact, And no one can take that seriously.

  44. Tiring nonsense.

  45. Bullshit

    Absolute nonsense

  46. This is what happens when you get all your information from dregs of the earth like Limbaugh and Hannity

  47. “Just for Republican Presidents.”

“It is very possible that she should’ve gone to jail for that”

It’s more than possible Phantom. Again to the outside eye, what Biliary have got away with is astounding. The FBI and also maybe the CIA seem to have got away with at minimal illegality and at most treason.

Hey, but that’s OK. Let’s get Trump.

  48. No I’m drawing logical conclusions based on facts…. 100s of millions of Russian Money given to her charity.

An Illegal Communication and records system.

And the Destruction of Subpoenaed Evidence.

  49. Matt – no one, even the President, is above the law. There is nothing wrong with a legitimate investigation which the Mueller investigation has been.

  50. Matt

What exactly did they get away with?

And please no uranium one tales- No one is stupid enough to believe those things

And I’m not particularly concerned about the Clinton foundation either.

It is by all standards a real charity, not a sham like the Trump Foundation

  51. I don’t have a problem with people giving to charity

Be more of that, not less

  52. There should be more of that, not less

  53. Add to that being a key player in the Sedition against the sitting President.

    Penalty for sedition

Additionally, it is any act of sedition or espionage (spying). The penalty is death, or imprisonment of not less than five years and a fine of not less than $10,000.

  54. Yeah, sure

    CDS

  55. “no one, even the President, is above the law”.

Agreed. However its your taxes being wasted, not mine. If Mueller comes up with anything concrete, I will happily concede. I doubt he will. The procedural “crimes” that he has uncovered (created) do not count.

You see Matt if you believe what the evidence shows in regards to Uranium One, The Clinton Foundation or any of the crimes which violations of are Felonies that the Clintons committed in Phantoms Bubble you’re stupid. Unless he agree with his point of view on anything especially Obama and the Clintons you’re just an inbred Trump Supporter.

  57. “And I’m not particularly concerned about the Clinton foundation either.”

So you have no objection to a special councel investigation into it then? After all, they (especially Slick Willie) are as pure as the driven snow.

When Trump is cleared, I hope he goes after them. As I stated earlier, your system and therefore your country are an international joke. How dare you criticize other countries.

  58. Clinton Foundation highly rated on expense ratio and transparency by charity ratings agency

The frauds won’t read any of it, or they will think it’s a conspiracy, but Matt -you- should read it.

Charles Ortel: ‘This is a charity fraud’. It kills me to support the Clintons, It kills the fakes to tell the truth at anytime

Cmon let’s hear some more uranium one yarns

  63. Phantom they squashed to federal investigations into it’s books. So no I don’t buy it.

I want a forensic audit of the Clinton Foundation and the individual Clintons, the destruction of evidence is one set of probable cause and the emails she did turnover showed a commingling of the foundation on the destroyed private server…..

It’s a Rico Case plain and simple. The only reason she’s not in Jail is the FBI/DOJ broke the Law in the Clinton Investigation.

The Clintons will never serve a day, but the FBI/DOJ officials need to go to Jail.

  64. Who told you that

Who wanted to investigate the foundation? For what reason?

You have no problem with Donald Trump stealing money from his foundation To pay bills for mar a lago I notice

  65. I have said it 1000 times and I’ll keep saying it….. ANYTHING Trump did illegal he NEEDS to be prosecuted for to the full extent of the Law.

Breaking the Law to me unlike you has no party affiliation.

  67. here a little more……

(CNN)Officials from the FBI and Department of Justice met several months ago to discuss opening a public corruption case into the Clinton Foundation, according to a US official.

At the time, three field offices were in agreement an investigation should be launched after the FBI received notification from a bank of suspicious activity from a foreigner who had donated to the Clinton Foundation, according to the official.
FBI officials wanted to investigate whether there was a criminal conflict of interest with the State Department and the Clinton Foundation during Clinton’s tenure. The Department of Justice had looked into allegations surrounding the foundation a year earlier after the release of the controversial book “Clinton Cash,” but found them to be unsubstantiated and there was insufficient evidence to open a case.
    Road to 270
As a result, DOJ officials pushed back against opening a case during the meeting earlier this year. Some also expressed concern the request seemed more political than substantive, especially given the timing of it coinciding with the investigation into the private email server and Clinton’s presidential campaign.
The FBI’s investigation into Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe and his tie to a Clinton Foundation donor was also raised during the meeting. DOJ said that probe could continue but declined to open a case on the foundation.
Representatives from the Clinton Foundation, FBI and DOJ declined to comment.
The Clinton Foundation is under increased scrutiny this week. Newly released emails from Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state raised questions about the nature of the department’s relationship with the Clinton Foundation.

  68. Hey pat where is your concern about the blooming national debt it’s up over 2 trillion since turnip took over

  69. Hey pat where is your concern about the blooming national debt it’s up over 2 trillion since turnip took over

  70. I doubt you will concede anything Matt since you aren’t conceding what has already been achieved, instead offering up the standard excuse of “only” process crimes, and the irrelevant allegations against the Clintons. Mueller is an honorable investigator, engaging in an honest investigation into serious issues of substantive crime that has counterintelligence implications.

  71. Pat’s comments about the Clintons and their ( legitimate ) foundation. over time are clearly litigated by personal hatred, more than by any facts.

And again it’s noted that he’s never once criticized Trump for his -documented- misuse of funds in a sham..
    foundation.

He’s AFAIK never criticized Trump for anything at all. While most of us have criticized the Clintons many times

None of his comment over years on the Clintons is to be taken seriously at all.

  72. Mueller is not Honorable and the Clinton crimes matter….

Trump supposedly conspired to rig the election with the russians… after 3 years of investigating him because they began the year before the election not one piece of collusion evidence has been found.

Except for the collusion that took place by the Hillary campaign the DNC and the FBI they hired a Foreign Agent to go to russia and have the kremlin create a phoney dossier which was then link to the press and used by the FBI/DOJ to get false FISA warrants. All for the purpose of stopping an American citizen from becoming President.

So I ask you Mahons please using the evidence that has been acquired on both candidates and make the case why Trump committed the imaginary crime of collusion but Clinton did nothing.

Then please list for everyone the states, county’s and polling places where a single vote was changed for either candidate by the Russians.

  73. Pat’s comments about the Clintons and their ( legitimate ) foundation. over time are clearly litigated by personal hatred, more than by any facts.

don’t ever assign motive or emotion to me.

Equal Justice under the Law is my only motive. Crimes were committed by the FBI/DOJ to protect the Clintons…..

I can’t help the fact that you’re to stupid Phantom to see the danger of two tier Justice System….. that’s just another thing in the long line of mental deficiencies you suffer from.

  74. Equal Justice under the Law is my only motive

Oh, sure. Everyone can see that.

They can and I’ll shall repeat for the 2000th time ANYTHING Trump did illegal he NEEDS to be prosecuted for to the full extent of the Law.

I will personally hand out the torches and pitchforks.

  77. If the Mueller Probe finds ANY crimes by Trump I expect him to be removed from office and prosecuted we can then swear Pence in.

  78. If a right wing tinfoil hat blogger says Clinton did something wrong then you take it as evidence that she should be put in prison.

Trump is an unindicted co-conspirator in campaign finance laws. And you rubbish them as not being illegal, or being nonsense.

So you don’t support equal justice for all. You go from hearsay evidence is fine in Clinton, to a line by line ambulance chaser when it comes to Trump.

  79. I will personally hand out the torches and pitchforks.

Sure you will. You’ve been so critical of Trump, anyone can see that.

  80. no Phantom unlike you I have been honest about Trump….

You constantly try to sell it that I’m this huge Trump supporter. I rejoined the Republican Party to help run Cruz’s campaign in Pa.

I supported Cruz until he was eliminated.

Trump has done a good job so far as President and I will defend the works he has done in office so far.

and unlike you I hold him to the same laws as everyone else in the US.

  81. Trump is an unindicted co-conspirator in campaign finance laws.

Name the campaign finance Law that was violated.

  82. You go from hearsay evidence is fine in Clinton, to a line by line ambulance chaser when it comes to Trump.

Violating the Federal Records act is Espionage and a Felony. Her Private communication system was both…. That is the Law Seamus not hearsay.

  83. When it reaches Obama’s 20 Trillion let me know

Using your logic trumps just hit 22 trillion, so I am letting you know

  84. It is possible that Trump himself will not be charged. And the aNY crime committed by others may very well have had not impact on the outcome of the election. But the wrong is attempting to influence it by contact/collusion with a hostile foreign government.

  85. So far Patrick the Republican Attorney General and his successor have not prosecuted her for the crimes you state she committed? It occurs to me they do not share your opinion.

  86. “Violating the Federal Records act is Espionage and a Felony. Her Private communication system was both…. That is the Law Seamus not hearsay.”

If that was the case so was Colin Powell’s. I don’t recall you gurning about it then.

“Name the campaign finance Law that was violated.”

    Federal Election Campaign Act

  87. Colin Powell is not a great example. He used the government email system, he also used private email.

Hillary Clinton made the decision to never use a government email account ( she refused to sign up for one) .

Mishandling and concealing official correspondence ( what she did ) is not espionage. Patrick doesn’t know what words mean.

  88. I don’t think the law makes a distinction between using a private and personal email account and only using a personal email account. The point I’m making is that if Clinton’s use of a personal email account was illegal then so was Powell’s.

  89. Colin Powell also used an AOL account for some correspondence – Hillary went to the extreme bother of creating her own private server, an exceptional step, which made it even harder for the government to monitor its own correspondence.

What Hillary Clinton did was no small thing. It was an intentional breach of all good practice.

Again, I had a Top Secret clearance for some years. I would never have done what she did. I never took any piece of classified or non classified government paper home at any time.

I think that she did commit a crime. It was no mistake.

  90. I don’t disagree. My point being is that while Clinton’s use of a private email was far more egregious than Powell’s the rule doesn’t make the distinction between the two. So if Clinton broke the law then so did Powell. Her’s was a more serious breach of it than his but they are both breaches.

  91. At a minimum what she did was a breach of good practice, and exceptional negligence brought on in part by vanity.

  92. Seamus, on February 13th, 2019 at 2:09 PM Said:

No everyone of Powells private communications were turned over to the government as the Law dictates. Not one of his communications were hidden from oversight.

Clinton setup a covert communications network to AVOID government oversight which is a Felony and Espionage. When ORDERED by the court to turn those communications over she destroyed evidence… another felony.

You can’t defend or justify her actions, you can try but you lose.

The Federal Records Act is a safeguard so the People know our politicians are conducting themselves honestly by creating an unbreakable record of everything they do. She purposefully and in violation of Federal Law avoided that system.

  93. She had secret, top secret, and classified information on her Private Server…

That is the definition of Espionage.

  94. It was a disqualifying offense, in addition to anything else.

No private employer would tolerate such conduct for one minute – subverting all correspondence.

Bernie Sanders proved to be completely useless when he dismissed the ” e mail ” thing.

And it raises the question about why Obama and others in government never noticed it, never did anything about it. Everyone would have noticed a non governmental email address. I guarantee you that the foreign intelligence services all noticed it.

  95. Absolute Power Corrupts….. a Safeguard to that corruption is the Federal Records Act… it was designed as a deterrent with severe penalties to prevent secret deals being made by those in High Office.

The only reason to avoid it is corruption and to do so is a Felony.

and she did it without hesitation.

  96. “When ORDERED by the court to turn those communications over she destroyed evidence… another felony.”

No when ordered by a court to turn over the communications it came to light that the server had already been wiped.

So you would need to prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, that she wiped it after the order, or you would need to prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, that she wiped it to avoid the contents from being audited.

    You can do neither.

  97. she admitted to destroying 33,000 emails AFTER they were subpoenaed. She has not hid her guilt she has flaunted it.

  98. Prove that she did to avoid them being seen. Prove it beyond a reasonable doubt.
