Are you ready?

By Patrick Van Roy On April 18th, 2019

The report is in public…. frantically foam at the mouth mad dog democrats look frantically for everything they can Spin.

From now until the first indictments against Obama’s FBI come down we will hear 1000 different reasons why the Special Counsel got it wrong, and Trump is guilty as hell.

Mueller’s own words

“The investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.”

“the evidence does not establish that the President was involved in an underlying crime related to Russian election interference”

Everything that you hear from today forward are the Rabid fantasies and delusions of those that suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome.

  1. //Mr Trump reportedly used an expletive when the investigation was announced, adding: “Oh my god. This is terrible. This is the end of my presidency”//

    🙂 A presidency? Poor Donald.

  2. As expected the complete exoneration was neither complete nor an exoneration

  3. bull Trump survived 19 federal lawyers giving him an anal exam he’s the most vetted president in history.

  4. Then why did he say “my presidency is fucked” when he found out Mueller would be investigating him

He is a crook but bonus points for George H W Bush as he is no longer the worst president of the 21st century and it only took 8 years

  5. “bull Trump survived 19 federal lawyers giving him an anal exam he’s the most vetted president in history.”

Except that one of the report’s arguments is that Trump refused to adequately answer questions and while they didn’t charge him over it they did say Congress can investigate him for it.

  6. no they had nothing they could press him on or they would have.

Congress can investigate a President because they believe he’s colluding with faeries and wee folk….. it’s their time to waste.

The dems investigated reagan and bush 1 for the specific reason that there was no evidence that bush 1 flew in an sr71 before the election to iran to get the iranians to keep the hostages until reagan won. So that proved that’s what they did… look it up.

    What matters is the Law.

Trump didn’t break any, and many people did trying to frame him. Let the prosecutions begin…

  7. “no they had nothing they could press him on or they would have.”

He refused to answer their questions and they didn’t want to through the complex legal battle of trying to force him.

  8. It’s a stone cold fact that no candidate or president has been so closely investigated. Trump was so closely investigated that Mueller had nothing else to look at.

    The outcome is no charges.

Americans can be proud that their president is squeaky clean.

  9. He answered every question and gave them every document they asked for.

He did not do a sit down to be caught in a perjury trap and mueller had nothing he could use to compel him. If had one scrap of any illegal doing of anything he could have and would have compelled him to direct questioning.

No they couldn’t find shit…. no matter how obnoxious and crude Trump is if he had unpaid parking tickets they would have persecuted till he was gone. No matter what anyone wants to say the mueller investigation is the most thorough scrutiny a president has ever recieved in american history.

and I repeat…. They found NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!

  10. The fact that they found nothing means nothing to those who lied for 2 years and won pulitzers for their lies, and they have a minimum of 2-4 mths before the FISA IG report is done and the first indictments start to happen….

  11. “He answered every question and gave them every document they asked for.”

So why did Mueller describe Trump’s responses as “inadequate”?

Mueller also said Trump’s actions “prevent us from conclusively determining that no criminal conduct occurred”. So while he didn’t indict Trump he also didn’t conclude that Trump had committed no crimes.

  12. Seamus –

    You have it backwards.

Mueller was not tasked with exonerating President Trump. He was tasked with finding evidence of crimes. After possibly the most exhaustive investigation any individual – anywhere, at any time – has ever suffered, Mueller came up empty handed.

I bet anyone in here wouldn’t have come up up so clean.

  13. “Mueller was not tasked with exonerating President Trump. He was tasked with finding evidence of crimes. After possibly the most exhaustive investigation any individual – anywhere, at any time – has ever suffered, Mueller came up empty handed.”

No he didn’t. Mueller concluded that he didn’t have enough evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump engaged in crimes, but that he also found enough evidence to conclude that Trump probably wasn’t totally innocent.

  14. ahhh Seamus you’ve got a wee case of tds don’t ya….. shame my good man

A prosecutor has one task find evidence that you can prosecute the subject for. Mueller found none.

There are no other facts, if, ands, or buts…..

    Everything else is politics.

  15. “A prosecutor has one task find evidence that you can prosecute the subject for. Mueller found none.”

Not true. He found plenty. As detailed in his report. He just didn’t find enough to indict.

  16. Seamus –

Mueller and his chums would have been highly keen to squeeze any such evidence over the indictment bar.

There IS a real crime here. We all know that for a fact. It’s an attempted coup under the guide of “Russian collusion” and the Obama administration was up to its neck in it.

For two years the US establishment and global media ran with Russian collusion. Every one of them was completely wrong. Who out there has admitted that they were wrong? None of them. Not one of the thousands of propagandists have admitted that they knowingly or unknowingly spread the fakest of fake news.

Mueller was tasked with finding Trump deep in Russian collusion, and he came up with nothing.

  17. “For two years the US establishment and global media ran with Russian collusion. Every one of them was completely wrong.”

No they weren’t. The Mueller report details links between the Trump campaign and Russia, including the fact that Trump himself was open to working with the Russians to influence the election.

What there was not was enough evidence to indict. That does not mean there was nothing.

  18. He just didn’t find enough to indict.

    then he found none…….

Innuendo, rumore, hearsay, etc etc etc….. if any evidence of criminal activity was found he would prosecute that was his job.

No Crime was committed by Trump. No collusion, conspiracy, bribery, blackmail, treason, quid pro quo, NOTHING…….

If a prosecutor can not charge he found NOTHING…. It’s Black and White…. that’s why the Lady wheres a blindfold.

  19. The Russians did work hand in hand with the DNC, the Obama Administration, and the Clinton’s to FRAME Donald Trump.

Now those who aren’t named Clinton or Obama better Lawyer up, because people are going to jail.

  20. Disgraceful partisan performance from “Attorney General” William Barr. He seems to think he’s Trump’s defence attorney. What a sock-puppet, even by the standards of this administration of sock-puppets and cronies.

  21. If you have enough evidence to prove on a balance of probability that someone committed a crime then you don’t have enough evidence to indict. You still have enough to suggest they probably committed the crime.

So it isn’t that he found none. He found some, just not enough.

  22. Mueller found “multiple links between Trump campaign officials and individuals tied to the Russian government” and said “the campaign expected it would benefit electorally from information stolen and released through Russian efforts”.

  23. He found “multiple acts by the president that were capable of exerting undue influence over law enforcement investigations, including the Russian-interference and obstruction investigations.”

  24. Trump Derangement Syndrome

Trump suffered from Birther Derangement Syndrome. And Obama Derangement Syndrome.

Both were motivated by his racism. He felt shame that a black man had been elected POTUS.

  25. 19 Lawyers, 40 FBI Agents, 2,800 Subpoenas, 500 Search Warrants, 500 Witnesses….

No Charges against a single American regarding the Russians and interference in the election….. zip, nada, zilch….. the supposed reason for the “investigation”

There is no joy in Mudville the Mighty Mueller has struck out….. bbbbaaawwwwaaaaahhhh 😉

  26. There seems to be some Mueller Derangement Syndrome from the likes of Pete and Patrick here.

  27. “From its first page, which identifies “numerous links between the Russian government and the Trump campaign”, to its conclusion that Congress can “permissibly criminalise” a president for obstruction of justice, Mr Mueller’s report merely handed the baton to Congress. It highlights the Russian government’s “sweeping and systemic” operations to tilt the 2016 presidential election in Mr Trump’s favour…

The report lays out in painstaking detail how Mr Trump tried to arm-twist people who worked for him into lying on his behalf, how he tried to cajole former employees to give false testimony, and how he dangled presidential pardons to those who complied. According to the report, Mr Trump launched “public attacks on the investigation, non-public efforts to control it, and efforts in public and in private to encourage witnesses not to co-operate with the investigation”. By any common-sense understanding of the meaning of “obstruction of justice” Mr Mueller lays out in exhaustive detail Mr Trump’s repeated attempts at doing so. Far from exonerating Mr Trump, Mr Mueller says the decision on whether to prosecute belongs to Congress. “Inferences can be drawn about his [Mr Trump’s] intent,” says the report.

But he lays out in detail a clear pattern of co-ordination between Mr Trump’s campaign, including his son Donald Jr, and thinly disguised proxies for the Russian government. Five hours after Mr Trump publicly called on Russia to download Hillary Clinton’s emails in July 2016, Russian intelligence officers made their first attempt to hack her personal office, says the report. Mr Trump expressed repeated “frustration” at the delay of WikiLeaks data dumps from Clinton and Democratic hacked emails. His son communicated “extensively” with WikiLeaks to hasten their release…”

  28. yes never mind he dated black woman, has plenty of black men and women in executive positions was given awards for his aid to the black community…..

    He’s a racist……

  29. “yes never mind he dated black woman, has plenty of black men and women in executive positions was given awards for his aid to the black community…..

    He’s a racist……”

Some of his best friends are black.

Considering he was investigated (and settled the case) for housing discrimination against black renters by noted Socialist Robert Bork when he was Acting Attorney General. Considering his continued attacks on the innocent men charged in the Central Park jogger case.

I’m pretty confident in declaring him a racist.

  30. It’s worth repeating:

“But [Mueller] lays out in detail a clear pattern of co-ordination between Mr Trump’s campaign, including his son Donald Jr, and thinly disguised proxies for the Russian government. Five hours after Mr Trump publicly called on Russia to download Hillary Clinton’s emails in July 2016, Russian intelligence officers made their first attempt to hack her personal office, says the report. 31. And this:

“The report lays out in painstaking detail how Mr Trump tried to arm-twist people who worked for him into lying on his behalf, how he tried to cajole former employees to give false testimony, and how he dangled presidential pardons to those who complied. According to the report, Mr Trump launched “public attacks on the investigation, non-public efforts to control it, and efforts in public and in private to encourage witnesses not to co-operate with the investigation”. 32. For the record, Mueller has not “exonerated” Trump. That’s just another Trump lie, aided and abetted by Trump’s sock-puppet “Attorney General”:

    https://twitter.com/washingtonpost/status/1118956587475963904?s=20

  33. William Barr: Attorney General or Trump sock-puppet? YOU decide!

“Attorney General William Barr’s Thursday morning press conference on special counsel Robert Mueller’s Trump-Russia report was a whitewash. There’s no other way to describe it. Barr, who claimed beforehand that the press conference would focus on process, spun the report’s conclusions before it was released and expected reporters to ask questions about a document they had not even seen. He literally uttered the phrase “no collusion” to describe Mueller’s conclusions — providing a perfect sound bite to play on loop on cable news in the president’s favorite phrasing.

Barr repeated this and similar talking points multiple times during his prepared statement. He put tremendous effort into explaining why Trump’s behavior during the probe should be seen as justified and in no way constituted obstruction. He even praised the president for providing “unfettered access” to documents and said the White House “fully cooperated” with the investigation, despite Trump’s refusal to submit to an interview with Mueller.

At the end, when a reporter asked if it was improper for the attorney general to spin the report to the public before it was released, Barr literally walked off the stage.”

  34. Barr is acting as Trump’s personal lawyer, nothing more.

  35. if he was, none of this would have been released at all. The Law does not require it. The only reason any of it is released is out of the goodness of Trumps heart.

  36. Glenn Greenwald’s assessment

  37. Byron York: Mueller, Trump, and ‘two years of bullshit’

    https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/columnists/byron-york-mueller-trump-and-two-years-of-bullshit

  38. Obama and Clinton have gotten away with:

    Uranium One
    Benghazi
    Solyndra
    Fast & Furious
    IRS targeting
    Cash to Iran
    Rigging a primary against Bernie
    Illegally storing emails
    Paying for a fake dossier
    Lying under oath
    Spying on Trump

And Trump was the one under investigation?

  39. There is plenty in the Mueller report to start impeachment which is the next constitutional step in the process. Pelosi said she does not want to but that could change. There are several Republican senators unbound to Trump and likely more to come.

In the US we follow the law and the Mueller report identifies several instances where Trump broke the law. Nobody is above the law and those who break the law should be tried. For presidents that means impeachment and conviction.

The Mueller report also mentions Russian manipulation of election computer systems in Florida and other states. Combined with the massive Russian online support of Trump it is likely we have an illegitimate president. Trump has done nothing about Russians swaying elections, I wonder why.

  40. Three Presidents have had Impeachments brought against them…..

    How many have been removed?

  41. Absent prosecution or impeachment the report doesn’t move the neddle. Trump’s blind or lying supporters (he has no other kind) will defend him come what may.

  42. The American political and media elites that spent the first two years of the Trump administration promoting the Russian collusion hoax have some explaining to do. And not merely explaining: They owe the president an apology.

As Attorney General William Barr said on Thursday before releasing the Mueller report, “After nearly two years of investigation, thousands of subpoenas, and hundreds of warrants and witness interviews, the special counsel confirmed that the Russian government sponsored efforts to illegally interfere with the 2016 presidential election but did not find that the Trump campaign or other Americans colluded in those schemes.”

And yet nearly the entire complex of elite media was actively complicit in promoting the biggest political conspiracy theory in American history: that Hillary Clinton lost the election because Donald Trump conspired with Vladimir Putin to — well, that was always a moving target — but to somehow deprive Mrs. Clinton of victory. What we now know definitively is that Robert Mueller, the special counsel, and a team of very accomplished, mostly Clinton-supporting, prosecutors were unable to find evidence of a conspiracy that had been taken as an article of faith by Trump haters.

Not from Seanhannityisgod.com but an Op-ed from the NYT Barr is right about everything. Admit you were wrong

You see, in proper newspapers, completely opposing views from the editorial board will be aired in the ” op ed ” section. Those who don’t read newspapers may not realize this.

I don’t agree with Mr. Buskirk’s major point, but I’m happy that he gets to speak his mind, in the face of many readers who would have diametrically opposed views to his own.

the evidence is against you cobelor

  45. counselor

  46. I don’t need any ” stats ”

I asked you to provide any news stories containing lies from the WP or NYT and you couldn’t provide any.

    Your apology is accepted.

  47. you’re assuming I would ever give you one even if I was wrong…. lol

Sorry skippy Trump is the cleanest President we ever had and there is no such thing as reporting the news anymore it’s all bias and spin and you fell for it……

  48. “… Trump is the cleanest President we ever had…”

That has to be one of the most insane, wilfully blind, ignorant things ever posted here. And this is a site with the likes of Allan and Harri…

  49. Well before he ran for president, Trump was widely known to be personally dishonest, a con-man of the first order.

The business community certainly knew it, even if star-struck ” Apprentice ” watchers managed to be unaware of it.

  50. The real issue with Trump is not that he is politically corrupt and criminal but that he is an irredeemable narcissist. He lies and ignores ethics because he has to always be the BIGGEST, the WINNER, the BEST at everything. I never believed that he would have colluded deliberately with Russians to win the election not because I think he was morally opposed to it but because I doubt he felt the need to. I think he believed his wealth, fame and bombastic personality was all he needed to win because he genuinely believed no-one could beat him. He enjoyed the thrill and global limelight of the campaign to take the world’s most powerful political office and he did it. This does not mean he is morally clean, his business life demonstrates the opposite. Its just that in his run for the Presidency he was supremely confident in his own abilities and didn’t need the help of anyone else.

  51. WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Reacting to the journalist April Ryan’s call for her to be fired, the White House press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, said, on Friday, that she has been the victim of the media’s “widespread anti-liar bias.”

“From their obsession with fact-checking to their relentless attacks on falsehoods, the media have made no secret of their bias,” Sanders said. “It’s open season on liars in America.”

  52. PVR

Do you really believe Trump and his campaign did not welcome and encourage Russian help? The Mueller report contains much evidence to the contrary. The ‘No Collusion, No Obstruction” PR campaign falls on deaf ears.

    Colm

Trump did not think he would win the election. He is an OTT egoist but listened to his advisors who like everybody else believed he would lose. He welcomed help from anywhere regardless of legality.

  53. it’s not a campaign. It is the facts.

The PROVEN facts by 19 Democrat Lawyers, 40 FBI agents, and the Special Counsel. You can chose to have deaf ears to reality, that is your choice.

It doesn’t change the facts No Collusion, and No Obstruction. Case on Trump closed.

And the fact that you can’t accept that you bought hook line and sinker a fairy tale, well that speaks to pride and an inability to admit you and all those that sold you the fairy tale were wrong.

    humility
The ordeal taught them humility….. but it didn’t.

    Sad

  54. PVR

“it’s not a campaign. It is the facts.” No. It is a failing PR campaign. Because of the Mueller report everybody now knows the reprehensible conduct of Trump and those around him. The dirty dealing with the Russians and blatant obstructions of justice. Those who elect to give a pass to Trump are un-American. Our principles are nobody above the law and likely criminals face justice. If you abandon those principles you should live in Russia, not the USA.

  55. New Yorker

Let me clarify. I don’t think Trump would actively prevent any sources of underhand or illegal assistance to his campaign. He would adopt an “I will pretend I never heard that “ attitude towards such activities. But I just don’t think he would have actively directly colluded with the Russian state or its satellite helpers. I think he would be perfectly fine allowing them to help him win however they chose to do so and would allow clever people in his employment to ensure he and his campaign were kept at arms length of anything that could count as indictable collusion. Trump has been found not to have blood on his hands but nothing about him is squeaky clean and morally pure as some if his cheerleaders have crowed since the report came out.

  56. “Senator Mitt Romney said Friday he was “sickened” by President Donald Trump’s dishonesty as described in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report and “appalled” that people working for Trump’s campaign welcomed help from Russia.

“I am sickened at the extent and pervasiveness of dishonesty and misdirection by individuals in the highest office of the land, including the President,” Romney said in a statement. “I am also appalled that, among other things, fellow citizens working in a campaign for president welcomed help from Russia — including information that had been illegally obtained; that none of them acted to inform American law enforcement; and that the campaign chairman was actively promoting Russian interests in Ukraine.”

    https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-04-19/mitt-romney-mueller-report-trump?cmpid=socialflow-twitter-business&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=socialflow-organic&utm_content=business&utm_source=twitter

  57. “The most striking part of the last two days is how Donald Trump and his allies are acting like losers, more aggrieved, bitchy, and petulant than ever. Somehow, “total exoneration” sounds like less like a win and more like a whine…

His flunky patrol has been testy, too. Rudy Giuliani gave a wild-eyed, feverish mess of an interview to Chris Cuomo. Kellyanne Conway demanded apologies from anyone who dared report the news now that William Barr has certified it all false. Sarah Sanders, confirmed by Robert Mueller to be even more of an egregious liar than was already evident, tried to talk her way out of what her words had talked her into.

The clickservative commentariat gave the same response they would have no matter the outcome, joining the hallelujah chorus of “No Collusion.” On Fox, the bellow-fest of Hannity, Frau Ingraham and the rest were wild-eyed and vengeful, pledging furious retribution to anyone who so much as mentioned the word “Russia” in the last two years.

As I anticipated just before the report’s release, Americans now have confirmation for the history books of the most crucial in-kind donation to an American presidential campaign, ever. We see in black-and-white the degree and depth of the Russian active measures, propaganda, and intelligence warfare efforts that were the secret sauce of Trump’s 2016 victory over Hillary Clinton. It wasn’t just MAGA or the Wall or celebrity bullshitting. An essential element of Trump’s victory was the work of Putin’s Little Helpers…”

  58. Trumps approval ratings have gone down significantly since the ( redacted, spun )Mueller report has been released

There are two reasons for this

The report provides further evidence of his moral corruption

Also, he has been acting like a confused And vengeful idiot since the release

  59. Colm

I agree. As a life-long criminal Trump is practiced at keeping the blood on the hands of others.

    Peter

Well said. The flunkies are testy but do protest too much!

    Phantom

I doubt the approval ratings will ever improve but keep nosediving as more people realize what a corrupt and incompetent president he is.
