Innit blud?

London slightly less vibrant tonight ..

.. and Guardian readers might find that their weekend coke package hasn’t arrived.

  1. Yeah, ‘Guardian Readers’

Tommy Robinson’s former camerawoman Lucy Brown accuses Robinson and his associates of spending thousands they’ve received in donations on cocaine

  2. I’m pretty sure the ‘county lines’ drug cases are about people using children to ferry drugs from cities into rural areas. So I imagine it is a few Telegraph and Times readers who won’t be getting their weekend coke package.

Do you imagine for a second that these drug dealers have not been replaced and that their replacements, if nicked by now, have not also been replaced?

As long as the nanny-state pursues its “war on drugs” it will continue to vastly inflate the profits of the drug dealers by ensuring that coke that should sell for £10 sells for £100. That’s a mighty big state subsidy. And then there is the consequent subsidy to the privatised prisons industry for locking up the dealers. And the vast waste of police resources.

The free-market and economically literate response is to legalise the trade and regulate it as necessary. But of course you know that.

  4. Lots of right wing bigmouths use illegal drugs. Not exactly a big secret.
