I love Trump

By Patrick Van Roy On July 29th, 2019

During the previous 8 years you couldn’t criticize Obama or you were a racist. The Press NEVER pressured Obama, they stood in awe of him…. God it was so bland. We missed out on half the fun. If it wasn’t for him being such a racist marxist idiot Obama would have been boring.

Trump is anything but boring, and I love it. Put aside all that’s been accomplished and the minutia of the politics it’s the entertainment of the personality that I love.

Trump has been under attack from day one and before, but where other presidents worked out a schtick to avoid questions from the press Trump has made himself fully available. Not just available but interactive with them to the point of the best entertainment that you could ever see.

The icing on the cake is his twitter feed. That company does not have to worry about going out of business for the next 6 years. Everyone moans and cries. He’s crude, obnoxious…. racist… blah blah blah. He’s hysterical….

The mans a true independent that is doing what everyone of us do everyday. Commenting on the insanity of the world. His appeal to me is jealousy….

I’m jealous as are millions of others… he has a world wide audience and absolutely no filter. He says what he thinks. No other leader in history has exposed himself to sutch scrutiny. He will be a historians dream a 100 years from now. The move itself is genius. He speaks directly to the people instantaneously, all the people. The fact that he speaks blunt and plainly is the appeal.

FDR was a master of the Radio, Nixon was the first to master Television, Trump brings us into the age of instant worldwide communication, and he is having fun doing it.

Living in interesting times doesn’t always have to be a curse…….

  1. President Trump gets to say things that other politicians wish they could say but can’t. He may not be to everyone liking, but he is his own man.

  2. It’s actually quite a fair comment. Trump is direct and open and “ out there” . He certainly isn’t boring and he doesn’t hide behind bland politically corporate safety speak but he isn’t entirely open. He should be less intolerant of the “enemy media” and not grant most of his one on one interviews to favourite Trump fan presenters.

  3. It’s rather sordid at the top…….

Thus, the FBI’s cover-up of the Franklin case is just one example of the Bureau’s long-standing practice of protecting these pedophile rings when they involve members of the American political elite and provide the Bureau with a steady supply of blackmail. It also makes it worth questioning the impartiality of one of the main prosecutors in the Jeffrey Epstein case, Maurene Comey, who is the daughter of former FBI Director James Comey

Part III of this series will focus on the Mega Group and its ties to the network that has been described in Parts I and II. In addition, the role of the state of Israel, the Mossad, and several global pro-Israel lobby organizations will also be discussed in relation to this network of sexual blackmail operations and Jeffrey Epstein.

It is here that the full breadth of the Epstein scandal comes into view. It is a criminal and unconscionable blackmail operation that has been run by influential figures, hidden in plain sight, for over half a century, exploiting and destroying the lives of untold numbers of children in the process. Over the years, it has grown many branches and spread well beyond the United States, as seen by the activity of Covenant House in Latin America and Epstein’s own international effort to recruit more girls to be abused and exploited.

All of this has taken place with the full knowledge and blessing of top figures in the world of “philanthropy” and in the U.S. government and intelligence communities, with great influence over several presidential administrations, particularly since the rise of Ronald Reagan and continuing through to Donald Trump.

I’m glad you’ve finally come out and publicly expressed your Trump worship.

No more ‘I only voted for him because he was against Hilary’ and ‘He’s crude, rude and bad mannered’ etc.

    Viva el Presidente!

  5. Yes. Everything is a funny game, like the World Wrestling Entertainment shows.

Some of us said years ago that this cult has nothing to do with any policies that Trump has or does not have.

A lot of US politics is like that.

Trump is a really cool guy who attacks the libs all day long, so lets vote for him again.

  6. Nixon was the first to master Television

    Nixon didn’t master TV.

When Nixon ran against JFK in 1961, they had debates that were aired on TV.

Those who listened to the debate on radio thought that Nixon had done better, those who watched on TV thought that Kennedy had won. Nixon was sweating and looked nervous, JFK looked calm and collected.

By the time Nixon won in 1968, many more people had TV, and color TV was becoming a common thing. Nixon by this time was competent on TV, but I don’t think that he was comfortable in that medium, ever.

The medium that Nixon IMO was best at was writing.

  7. These 1960 debates were the first to be televised.

They’re probably the reason that JFK won.

The outgoing president Eisenhower was 71 years of age, and was born in the 19th century. JFK had an image of youthful vigor on full display on TV that didn’t hurt him.

  8. //Trump is a really cool guy who attacks the libs all day long, so lets vote for him again.//

That’s about it. Plus his success was based on failure. A failure of American governments to encourage investment in the right regions that led to all that disenchantment, a failure to look after its citizens in sickness and old age.

There was a huge protest vote in it.

The same can be said for the success of Brexit following the failure of investment in the coastal regions; generally traditional Labour regions that then went on to vote Leave, while traditionally conservative regions in the prosperous south voted Remain.

BTW. Anyone else think this story is odly appropriate.:

A vicious brawl breaks out on the good ship Britannia between British passengers after a “patriotic” party on a trip returning from Norway.

    That has almost literary potential.

    https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-49137520

  9. Don’t let the Dems off the hook.

The white working class in the Rustbelt etc are well aware that the Obama / Hillary types look down on them, and that the current Democratic contenders ( Biden excepted ) are no better.

We’d never have seen a bigmouth clown as Trump elected if there had been a good choice.

  10. He said the violence occurred after a black-tie evening and an afternoon of “patriotic” partying on deck, when large amounts of alcohol were consumed.

Mr Gaisford said he had been told by a witness the incident was sparked by a passenger taking offence at another holidaymaker dressed as a clown.

However, P&O denied there was someone dressed as a clown on the ship.

    This is tremendous.

  11. BTW. Anyone else think this story is odly appropriate

    Superb.

A “patriotic” party on a trip returning from Norway erupts into alcohol fuelled mass vioñence between patriotic Brits after a passenger taking offence at another holidaymaker dressed as a clown.

I’m sure there’s a Brexit / BOJO metaphor in there somewhere.

  12. I knew you would bring up the debate Phantom no one else. I was going to get more specific but I only gave FDR a sentence and the post wasn’t about Nixon.

Nixon mastered the power of TV even though he didn’t come across friendly on it.

I was talking about The Checkers Speech…. Nixon’s career was done. He was accused of accepting bribes. He went direct to the public with that speech and saved his career.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjHoH2m3iKA

The real master of TV was Reagan, but Nixon got there first in 1953

  13. Reagan was a very good speaker, on TV and in person.

  14. Now Paul…..

I’m glad you’ve finally come out and publicly expressed your Trump worship.

No more ‘I only voted for him because he was against Hilary’ and ‘He’s crude, rude and bad mannered’ etc.

    Viva el Presidente!

Sorry your still going to hear that because it’s true.

I only voted for Trump because he was the one who won the nomination and was running against Hillary…. as I’ve said I would have voted for mickey mouse if he was running against the beast.

I expected NOTHING out of Trump and still would have been happy.

But I have come to Love Trump as he has performed in the job and especially for the reasons above.

At this point I rate him 3rd out of the Presidents of the last 100 years.

  15. How many of those ex-presidents around that table in the pic would actually be there if an imbecile like Trump was among them?

They were of a different kind. Whatever about their politics, they had human decency and decorum.

The only thing Trump is good at is avoiding wars. Otherwise he deserves absolutely no respect.

  16. That’s no problem Pat as I knew you were a worshipper when you mildly chided the petulant President for his comments based on the ethnicity of the four Congresswoman, (describing them as racist), and then immediately going on the offensive to defend him.

I know you think he can do no wrong and suspect that this comment will come back to you the next time you try to distance your support for him.

Here he is talking about signing the 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund to provide health care compensation for emergency workers, volunteers and survivors affected by the terrorist attacks in 2001 a few hours ago, (Jesus Christ, a compensation fund to pay for health care), misappropriating the bravery of the NYPD, NYFD and countless New Yorkers on the ground in the wake of 9/11:

Listen to the cowardly bum steal the valor of brave men and women for his own selfish, narcissistic, vainglorious ego.

But hey, that’s okay. It’s just a part of his personality that you love.

  17. What has turnip accomplished?

  18. The only thing that the great Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt had in common with the dilettante Trump is that they all had two legs.

  19. I never described his comments as racist… I said he crossed a line.

145 Judges….. a readdressing of all trade deals, removal of the US from the Climate Scam, removal of the US from the catastrophic Iran deal, over 1000 regulations cut which have caused the largest gas and oil boom in world history…. I can go on.

  21. Don’t remember you guys complaining about trade much at all until this guy started running

When Obama complained about Chinese trade, you guys didn’t say a thing, at any time

  22. Patrick

    I love Trump

Have to admit, I really love a good fart myself.

  23. lol

  24. So Phantom you believe Obama’s trade deals were better?

  25. I don’t like what China was getting away with for decades, since the seventies

Obama didn’t cut those deals, he inherited them, most of them would have been done I think in the Clinton era or even before

I criticized them to some extent on these pages, you never said anything on trade as I can remember, until Trump started talking about it

  26. This, full MFN to communist China, was a great mistake, approval was very bi partisan but which was signed by Clinton

    https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2018/06/normalizing-trade-relations-with-china-was-a-mistake/562403/

  27. I think that’s a great painting. Although, somewhat ruined by Trump. He shouldn’t be allowed spit polish the shoes of most of the guys around that table.

I really like how the other presidents are portrayed.

    That is all.

  29. //When Obama complained about Chinese trade, you guys didn’t say a thing, at any time//

    How could they?

They were too busy complaining about a president spending time on the golf course.

  30. Field Marshall Bone Spurs meets some real men who served in combat

  31. Noel

Yes where this president has spend his entire first term on the golf course

I found it pretty disgustingly pathetic.

  33. Pat do you know what the difference between the new NAFTA and the old NAFTA? You get to export 3% of our domestic cheese market tariff free and you got the Mexicans a nice pay raise

  34. cool EP those mexicans need a raise to pay for the wall

  35. Look the point of this post if you read it says,,,,,

Put aside all that’s been accomplished and the minutia of the politics it’s the entertainment of the personality that I love.

The man has changed the whole dynamic of communication with the people. We are witnessing a once in a century phenomenon. He talks daily directly to the people. This is once in a lifetime. Who running for President now could do it ? No all politicians no matter what side of the aisle would hire a team. You wouldn’t get real communication.

Whether his record winds up being a win or a loss it will be the most documented and open view of a President ever. They will be studying this a century from now win lose or draw.

    and I admire that.
